This is not like yaasss tea but similar. The have cheesecake tea and other fun teas to try. It is a fun tea, and coffee place to try different teas and coffees with many flavors. If you're a bubble tea fan definitely it's a must try. The service is great I call the people who makes the type of drinks artist. It's amazing to watch! This was my first time in the mall and this place caught my eye. Mainly because I saw that there was an option for boba tea mixed with coffee. Two options actually. I got the frappapearl and it was a great choice. It had non-dairy milk tea and coffee blended with ice with brown sugar and tapioca pearls, topped with whipped cream and brown sugar drizzle. Delicious, wished I got a king size. My Fiancé got the cheesecake milk tea which only came in one size, king. It had like a gelatin cheesecake/pudding at the bottom. He did say he liked mine better but that his was good for what it was. There have a lot of other options too. read more

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. With so many bubble tea shops, you're taking a risk at all of them, but the craving was strong, this was the only option, but their menu was unique. So in I go, taking my big risk of the day and let me tell you, high risk, high reward. We got the strawberry cheesecake and the Pina colada and while they both sound heavy, they really weren't. They both sound delicious though and let me tell you, they were. Pricier than others, but nowadays $7 for a bubble tea is the norm so what's an extra buck or two. ATTN Bubble Tea aficionados: teas are brewed fresh for each order!!! I ordered the Amber Lake fruit tea: lychee passionfruit black tea mix with lychee bits and lychee jelly, 30% sugar level, add some black tapioca pearls and extra ice. The tapioca was too mushy, and there were no lychee bits. Alyssa, my server, explained that she could not find the can opener for the lychee bits. I did not like my drink. So Alyssa offered to make me another drink. I ordered the Passion Island fruit tea: golden pineapple passion fruit oolong tea mix with pineapple bits, 30% sugar level, add some strawberry boba and extra ice. It was wonderful, and so was the customer service delivered by Alyssa. Both teas were still warm after their fresh brew, despite being immersed in extra ice. Disappointingly, they do not sell my favorite boba of all: lychee, but they do have lychee black tea, syrup, jelly and bits. Bonus: They have a rewards program, where the 11th drink is free. I haven't been to this mall , in a very long time. It wasn't so pleasant back in the days. Now wow totally remodeled and super clean and bright! Highly recommend to visit the mall itself and this bubble tea spot. I've been to a few bubble tea spots but this one was different and it tasted so fresh! Is that even possible? I guess so and the bubba's were so warm and my drink was so delicious! I love the decor, plenty of seating available too. Go check them out. read more

The matcha was not good. I got a matcha latte with oatmilk. I gave it 3 stars becuase the customer service was good. They do use a syrup or liquid for the matcha and just add the milk with it. read more

Happy to have tried this place out randomly. Line was long but it went very quick. We had the Oreo boba and passion fruit. So many boba , fresh fruit in the passion fruit. Very sweet and good. The Oreo was more like a boba shake. A lot of flavor and more of a dessert. I'd recommend both. read more

Great Tea With a Side of Condescension.... Visited Black Pearl Bubble Tea on 2/27/22. The tea was amazing; we purchased matcha boba with almond milk, and the boba were perfectly done, not too hard and not too soft and just sweet enough. They used lots of matcha and everything was layered nicely in the cup. The person who helped us was borderline rude, but that just added to our enjoyment as she spawned a lot of "no tea for you!" jokes after we left. All in all, go there for the tea, but be prepared to roll your eyes quite a bit during the ordering process. read more

Place is pricey and has changed their prices even more so. The drinks are good usually, and I work close so I stop by quite a bit, but last time I got a blended drink from them there was black plastic broken up inside of it. Could not drink, I called ahead to see if I could place an order for my break and they told me to come in instead because there is no line. I get there and there's a woman asking questions for I kid you not 12 mins straight and they never help me until she orders. Sometimes they make my drink with boba pearls even when I don't ask for them and they're not included in the original drink. Confused. Needs a more cohesive staff, cos if there is ever anyone in front of you your drink will take 10 mins. Good drinks, but the price, wait time, and inconsistency ruins it. read more

Black Pearl makes some amazing bubble teas. Their customer service needs some work. The staff need to be more friendlier. Maybe a smile and a greet your customers more? Each time I come to the Green Acres Mall, I make sure I order my bubble tea in the app. It saves time and I get rewards on the app. The price is higher than most bubble tea places but the taste is worth it. read more

If you are in the area and looking for bubble tea, this is a great place to stop by. It is in the center of the mall and away from the food court but worth the bit of a walk. I ordered 3 drinks online for in-store pickup. I arrived at the designated time. The drinks were not ready, so they went to check their system. They did not give me a status, and just left me standing there. No "we will make it now" or "it will be ready in a few minutes", just silence. I sat down to wait, and after 10-15 minutes, went to check on my order. There was a bag with my name on it, but no one called my name! Even worse, they only had 2 of my 3 drinks. They said there were only 2 drinks on my order, even though I showed them my email receipt. They called the manager, and he looked confused too. Finally, another employee chimes in that they cancelled my Amber Lake, and refunded my money. No explanation, no apology. No "can we make you a different drink?". I was fed up and left without ordering a replacement drink. I just checked and do not see any refund I should have requested a refund of my 20% tip!! I love coming here often. I rarely go to the mall but I go for boba. I get the Passion Island and it's only been cold ONE TIME. The first time I went, one worker shook my beverage, strained it over fresh ice and it was cold all the way through. Every other time it's been warm, closer to hot because it was poured straight from the large jug. I'd like to actually have a cold tea when I go, not warm tea with melting ice.
