The sheets and blankets are a little thin and scratchy, but my masseuse (a small Asian woman) was still able to dig deep into knots, using hot stones midway through. I took away one star for the fact that she had me uncovered for a good portion of the massage and I was COLD, and she was a little skimpy on oil/lotion so there was a lot of pulling on my skin; however my partner did not experience these issues. It might've been partly my fault for not speaking up when I was bothered. 60 min massage was $60; using credit card added tax $4.50 (but not if you use cash), but it was worth the convenience of not having to search out an ATM. Despite the slight discomforts, the massage did more than a "medical massage" I got the week prior. We'll probably come back next time we're in town and in need of massage.

Our experience was okay- not bad but we weren't wowed by any means. The location was nice and cute going for a quaint spa vibe. There's some light snacks, water, coffee, and tea. It wasn't brought to our attention that there were showers, sandals, or additional post service accouterment like razors, combs, lotion, hair ties, dry shampoo, etc. It would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could come prepared. We were told about the robes available to use so that was nice. I've never had a maternity massage so I can't compare it but it was nice. Took a little trial and error to get comfortable. They offer a bolster to allow you to lie on your stomach. I think perhaps it's better suited for someone not so far along, or just with different anatomy. The hole for my stomach did not feel deep enough and I felt pressure on my belly which was uncomfortable. My masseuse was gracious to work with me to get comfortable on my side and had a bolster to lie on my back as well. The "scalp treatment" was pretty basic and left much to be desired. I think they put peppermint oil on their fingers and then push your hair around your head. It absolutely was not worth the time or price we paid. I kept my opinions to myself as I tend to be a tougher critic than my husband but as we left he mentioned his thoughts on the "scalp treatment"- his words were I could have done without that- the hair dresser does a better job- I agree. We usually go to Panacea Spa but they were booked so a friend suggested Woodhouse Spa. It's really difficult to compare the two as Panacea is a true luxury experience albeit with a price tag to match. With our scalp add ons we paid almost the same as we would have at Panacea and by no means was it a paralleled experience. We might consider trying a basic massage service again but certainly not our first pick here in Columbus. Not bad just not amazing.

Everything is very clean and professional. The massage therapists are wonderful. They really take your time and are incredibly talented. Each therapist has their own pros and cons. I will say one thing is that many of them don't speak English very well. A lot of them are Chinese but they do understand quite a lot and are able to accommodate your requests. They have foot massages too, which I have tried and very much liked, but my go-to is either a 60 or 90-minute massage depending on their availability. I would definitely call ahead to make a reservation since they do get busy especially on the weekends but they often are able to accommodate us as walk-ins even a few hours before.
