We had a…read moreroofing inspector come by to assess our roofs (about 10 months after Robles did thier work) and we were informed that Robles roofing used the wrong material (asphalt) to chaulk our roofs and most of them were cracked. Our roofing inspector told us they should have used high performance caulking, which would have lasted 10 years. Our HOA tried to contact them, and Ricardo was nice and when asked about using a higher quality caulking, it didn't seem like he was going to change the material. He didn't deny there was a problem, but did say there was a problem. Given their poor quality work, we didn't trust them to repair a second time. I would recommend avoiding this company because I don't think they know what they're doing. Had we not had a roof inspector look at our roofs, we would not have noticed any issues until a more costly issue occurred from the cracked chaulking.

However, less than two years after the first repair, the roof began leaking again in the exact area they had previously worked on. I contacted Andrew multiple times by phone and text message, but he never responded. As the leak worsened - becoming more severe than the original issue - I also sent emails and called the business line, yet received no return calls or responses of any kind. After exhausting all attempts to reach B & R Roofing, I hired another roofing company to repair the issue. That company documented B & R Roofing's prior work and confirmed that the repairs were incomplete. Specifically, B & R Roofing only patched a very small section where the leak was visible and did not replace the roof underlayment, despite quoting and accepting payment for that work. After reviewing other customer feedback, it is clear this is a pattern in how B & R Roofing operates. I strongly recommend that potential customers carefully consider their business practices before hiring them. I will also be filing a formal complaint with the Santa Barbara Contractors Board

Every tim it rained, roof leaked, even straight through the chandelier! From 2017, they replaced the entire roof 4 times!! It continued to leak and then, ghosted. I start calling Department Manager, then, District Manager, nothing! This angered me and I was livid! So, I started contacting Home Depot Corporate Office, then Board of Directors, and finally (shocking) I received a response after contacting the CEO!! They sent another crew. They said sorry we no longer work on roofs but they said they'd pay any certified roofer to fix it. I checked Yelp and randomly found A&M. They called me in 2 hours, came to the house the next day, found and fixed the issue, and resolved in 1 week!! If I would have found them 5 years ago, I would have saved a ton of time and money fixing the continuous damage. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone else in SB County!!!

My insurance company attempted to get reimbursement from their insurance. I am told they sold the company although the old owners still work there. I am also told they did not have insurance coverage for construction neglect. They are a fairly large company in Santa Barbara but do yourself a favor before hiring them and look up their multiple pages of lawsuits over the years, which are public record.

I manage multiple properties and have worked with many contractors over the years. When I meet someone who provides exceptional service I feel the need to share my thoughts... Mark came out to our home in Buellton to repair a roof leak and fix some broken rain gutters. He was prompt and courteous and the price was very fair. I would definitely call A to Z Roofing for any future roofing or rain gutter issues. As a side note, it is also worth mentioning he is licensed and fully insured. This is so important when hiring a contractor, especially a roofer because of the potential risk of injury. You may get a cheaper quote from an unlicensed roofer (because they are probably not paying for Workers Comp Insurance) but you will be on the hook for medical bills and lost wages if one of the workers falls off your roof. Totally not worth the risk, especially if you are a homeowner. I am very satisfied with the price and service of A to Z Roofing!
