Check in and pick a table - there are a number with views of the street to watch the world go by. Waitstaff will provide menu and take your order. Service is a reasonable but you will wait if it's busy. The menu is broad, with some vegan options - it's what you would expect from a hotel eatery catering for all tastes- watch the prices they can be high for what you're getting. We came as a party of 15 and it did stretch the staff but delays were tolerable. Food was excellent - the presentation was 5 star and great quality - excellent meal had by all. Make sure you ask about portion size as some are bigger and some are smaller than norm. As a group we loved it - thank you Accor Club discount for two for one but some items are expensive so check the price.

There was a good selection of food to get your day started and an chief to whip up your eggs just the way you like them. There was a nice selection of fresh fruit and juices as well as cereals. The coffee was quite good and a handy selection of Danish pastry to satisfy you also. All in all a good breaky.

(They may also be at various other festivals and events -- follow them on social media for more information.) I went on during the CBD Wednesday Farmer's Markets during my lunch break. Eat a Pocket bills itself as having "Brisbane's Best Falafel." This is the only falafel I've had in Brisbane, since I don't live here, but I'd have to say it was pretty darned good. It came with hummus, salads, tabouli, pickles, tomato salsa, cole slaw, and tahini. For the price ($12!), however, it was really small. That was the one let-down about this place. I was expecting a full falafel wrap -- but these "pockets" are a little less than half the size of a typical falafel wrap (like the kind you might get from a kebab shop). Tasty, yes, and definitely better quality than anything you'd get at a kebab shop, but ultimately not worth the price tag. They also have a variety of other Middle Eastern vegetarian options -- a "brekky pocket" ($8.50) with scrambled eggs; a "hummus pocket" ($11) with hummus, coleslaw, tabouli, salsa, pickles, and tahini; a "babaganoush pocket" ($12), which is the same as the hummus pocket but with babaganoush instead; a mezze plate ($13) with falafel balls, sauerkraut, pita bread, and lots of dips; and basic falafel platters with your choice of 6 or 12 falafel balls. Definitely nice flavours, but really overpriced for what you get. Their falafel platters, hummus pocket, and falafel pocket are all vegan. The brekky pocket isn't (contains scrambled eggs) and I didn't ask about the babaganoush pocket (sometimes babaganoush contains dairy). Service was also super nice and friendly. Probably worth going if you're craving a high-quality falafel wrap on a Wednesday or Saturday, but just be prepared the portion sizes are pretty small relative to the cost.
