As a beginner watercolor artist, I've appreciated the loose curriculum approach and activities Tom prepares, as well as the chance to do my own thing and learn how to paint something that inspires me. At this life stage a flexible schedule is high on my list so I'm loving that the class is offered in a way that I can tailor it to my calendar & I'm not out money if I can't attend a class every week. A dear friend joined my husband and me for classes and we all had a blast making useful and fun items. Out friend, John, liked the table work better so made the coolest items from clay slabs. A beer mug for himself, a gorgeous plant pot for his mother and several items for his wife (gifts!) and others. Amazing! My husband and I used the wheel, so we made several plant pots, coffee mugs, dishes and other useful items. It is so rewarding to use your hands to watch something come to life. It was a blast and we walked away with handmade forever treasures. Do yourself a favor. Go check this place out!
