Maybe drives and people are the same...the harder you try, the worse the shot ends up. (Tee boxes and fairways are great here. Tee boxes were aerated recently, but plugs were all gone. Center cut of fairways is narrow in places, but that makes it fun!) Playing from the tips, I can score in the 80's here, but scoring a long term friendship with people I care about seems to evade me. (Low scores at this course are generated by playing smart. With lots of creeks and water your shot selection needs to include several layups and specific yardages to put you in a good position to hit the green.) I can usually read a green better than I can read a person. However, the greens here are tough. You first think it will go left, but then you walk it and maybe it will go right, so you don't give up the cup and run it 4 feet past the hole to the right. (Sometimes you just have to go for it, even if failure is imminent.) A lot of people don't understand golf. A lot of people don't like golf, or those that play. That's ok...I don't understand a lot of people. Love the bridges, scenic views, and an obviously well cared for track.

This is by far the most expensive car museum collection that I have seen. The building is a…read morenational land mark and it's the original headquarters for the car company with the art deco beautiful show room, offices and manufacturing. The museum is on 3 levels and is a massive display. The museum next to it can be a packaged together for $25, tickets are good for two days because the collections are massive. Sorry I deleted all my pictures before I wrote this review. It's definitely a must stop for any car enthusiasts.

Hotel lobby is very clean, with cute decor and a pool table, game area, work area and hang out space. Hotel rooms are very clean, beds are comfy and decor is nice. Rooms are on the small side, but laid out well with nooks and hooks for your stuff. We are a family of five, so we hung out in the lobby downstairs and played pool and games. They also have a nice selection of snacks and drinks in the lobby. We would definitely stay here again!

Two complaints: first, the parking lot looked the same as the evening after pulling in from the snowstorm, and I left at 11:49 AM, so plenty of time to clean it or throw down some rock salt. Second, with the light post directly outside the window, the shades didn't do the job. I'm deaf, so light is the issue for me, not sound. Would I stay here again? Sure, but I'd bring some rock salt and a blindfold.
