The lanes are some of the best in the area. They have a full bar and grill. I would recommend this place to anyone that likes bowling.

This is a beautifully presented museum in the former Auburn Automobile Company headquarters. The…read morerestored Art Deco building is impressive on its own, with polished floors, elegant architecture, and cars displayed in what feels more like a gallery than a typical auto museum. The collection focuses on Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg automobiles, along with the history of the company, its designers, and the people who built the cars. Everything is clean, organized, and thoughtfully labeled. The vehicles are presented with enough space to appreciate their design and craftsmanship. The museum next door has a much more industrial feel and a broader variety of vehicles, but this one stands out for its architecture, refinement, and focused collection. Well worth visiting, even for someone who is not a serious car enthusiast.

Super nice people and tons of beautiful, mint condition cars! I've never felt so ignorant though... been a car guy for about as long as I can remember but probably half or more of these cars I've never even heard of! This place proves "they don't make em like they used to"! Auburn or Cord or a logo or even a particular engine, so many details squeezed into a single vehicle... in the wheels, taillights, mirrors, bumpers, etc... they clearly took pride in their work! This place is on my Comeback List for sure! I'd love to spend at least a couple weeks in Auburn... very cool town with so much to see and do!

Pleasantly surprised by this very reasonably priced hotel. Front desk staff was extremely helpful…read moreand friendly. It was obvious that the hotel staff took pride in their hotel. Hotel lobby is very clean, with cute decor and a pool table, game area, work area and hang out space. Hotel rooms are very clean, beds are comfy and decor is nice. Rooms are on the small side, but laid out well with nooks and hooks for your stuff. We are a family of five, so we hung out in the lobby downstairs and played pool and games. They also have a nice selection of snacks and drinks in the lobby. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely abysmal customer service from operations manager Karen Helfgott and assistant manager…read moreDebbie Pace. I stayed at the try by Hilton for a single night. I was woken up at 3:30 am by a guest next door whose phone alarm was going off for an hour straight. See attached videos. I spoke to the receptionist at the time around 4am to let them know about the situation. She was polite and tried to call the room and went up to knock on the door herself to get the guest to turn off their alarm. After some time of not being able get the guest's attention and to turn off their alarm. I finally pounded on their door myself. A minute later a disgruntled construction worker left the suite and insulted me as I confronted him about it. I immediately packed by bags and checked out at the front desk. The cherry on top is when I when I brought the situation to the manager Debbie Pace and operations manager Karen Helfgott about what has happened. I waited in the lobby for 3 hours to speak to these ladies who came in at 7am. I explained the situation to them both and asked if they had been filled in by the night receptionist. They said yes but immediately got ahead of the conversation and said that they handled the issue internally and that it was settled. I thought the ladies were joking with me and asked, "but what about me" I showed them them videos of the loud alarm going off (probably disturbing other guests aswell) and told them I had been waiting 3 hours to speak with them. I was met with further "there is nothing we can do about it" all while I'm wondering how they will make this right and rectify the situation. The ladies rolled their eyes and I could see they were visibly annoyed with me. After some back and forth of me persisting that I cannot accept that nothing could be done. They then told me I had to leave and that they were "calling the police" Unfortunately, the situation didn't end there. I had been dropped off at the hotel by a family member and was waiting outside for a ride after being told to leave. When my mother arrived to pick me up, she went inside to try to get some clarification about what had happened. She was met with similar hostility, and the managers called the police on her as well. She was simply trying to understand the situation and help me. Imagine calling the police on a woman in her 60s trying to get information. Are you serious?? My sleep was interrupted, my stay shortened, I was insulted by another guest, my mother disrespected, and when I bought the issue to those in charge. "There's nothing we can do, please leave we're calling the police" what a joke of an excuse for customer service. I will be filing a charge back with my bank and will be filing reports with about this situation to bring light to the hostile environment Karen Helfgott and Debbie Pace uphold. Unbelievable. If you're thinking about staying at this location, look elsewhere.

The collection is broad and includes cars, trucks, commercial vehicles, prototypes, signs, model cars, gas pumps, and other automotive memorabilia. There is a lot to explore, and the variety makes it interesting even when the displays are not especially refined. The GM Futurliner is the biggest highlight and is worth seeing by itself. Its size and unusual design are impressive, but it is currently parked tightly between two structural beams. That makes it difficult to step back, take photographs, or fully appreciate the vehicle. It should be moved to a more open area where visitors can see it properly. This is a good museum for anyone who enjoys vehicles and automotive history. It is less polished than the Art Deco museum next door, but the wide-ranging collection gives it a very different character.

Our neighbor is cat-sitting for us and suggested Salvatori's as a good place for Italian, and she was so right! It's not a big space and you may have a short wait for a table, but so worth it. The ambiance is casual and family-oriented, not too noisy even when full, and (best of all) there's No TVs. Heavenly! I had the pasta Apuli (minus the red pepper flakes), she had the Spaghetti Olio and we split a bruchetta and a cannoli for a to-go dessert. The portions are so large, we needed to-go boxes for both dinners even though we ordered the half sizes! Generous doesn't begin to describe this place. Our server was warm and attentive without 'hovering' and the host stopped by to ensure all's well. We're coming back through town on Monday and I think we'll be back again!

About two weeks ago, visiting Auburn for work, I ordered a small Supreme thin-crust pizza from Salvatori's and brought it back to my hotel. The pizza itself was very tasty, but the crust was extremely soft and floppy--so much so that it couldn't support the toppings. When I picked up a slice, the toppings basically slid right off the bottom. The crust had apparently decided its job was simply to provide transportation from the kitchen to the box. The flavor was good, though, so afterward I called the restaurant simply to offer some constructive feedback. I explained that I thought the pizza had been pulled from the oven too early and wasn't fully cooked. The young lady took my feedback in stride and thanked me. This week, I decided to give Salvatori's another try and ordered the exact same pizza: small Supreme, thin crust. But this time I was very specific. I asked for the crust to be very crispy and told them I was perfectly fine with the cheese getting browned. At the end of the call, they confirmed, "So you want it well done?" I said yes. Perfect. We were speaking the same pizza language. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, however, the pizza wasn't ready. After waiting a few minutes, one staff member asked another if they had taken the order for the "10-inch carryout pizza"--a.k.a. my pizza--and there seemed to be a little scrambling. The manager came right up and explained that they were "late" getting my pizza in. I said no problem. Things happen. I waited another 15-20 minutes. When the pizza finally came out, I watched an employee hand it over to the woman at the counter. She opened the box, looked at the pizza, paused for a good five seconds, slowly closed the lid, turned around, faced me and said: "Sir, your pizza is ready." That five-second pause should probably have been my warning. To their credit, they were very nice about the delay and gave me a piece of cheesecake at no charge. I had intended to pay for it, but they insisted because of the inconvenience, which I genuinely appreciated. Here's where my pending disappointment became actual disappointment. I opened the box. It looked almost exactly like the pizza from two weeks earlier. Definitely not well done. Definitely not crispy. Once again, the crust was soft and floppy. Apparently, "well done" and I have a different definition than Salvatori's oven does. At that point, the pizza was already cut, I had already waited the extra time, and I really didn't want to hand it back and ask them to put it in the oven for another 10 minutes just to get the crispy crust I had specifically requested. I hate leaving anything less than a five-star review, especially because the pizza actually tastes good and the staff were friendly. But after specifically calling about the issue after my first experience, then giving them another chance and being extremely clear about how I wanted the second pizza cooked, it was disappointing to receive essentially the same result. The missed order and extra wait wouldn't have bothered me much by themselves. Things happen, and the complimentary cheesecake was a thoughtful gesture that I appreciated. But when a customer specifically requests a pizza "well done," the restaurant confirms that request, and the pizza still comes out noticeably underdone, that's harder to overlook. I wanted crispy. I got floppy. Twice. Two pizzas, one review--and unfortunately, the same crust both times. I'm just not sure there will be a third. I'm rooting for you Salvatori's, I really am, but man-o-man.
