Two friends and I went to Black Cloud Tattoo and Piercing on our lunch break and got our noses pierced. We worked with Destiny who was fantastic. She got us all completed within 30 mins and was super friendly along the journey. My only reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5 is because this place was pretty pricey for what we got. We each paid about $50 after tax for our nose piercing which included the jewelry & the cleaning solution and that was with a mall discount for working in the mall. Based on the pricing for that minor job I wouldn't recommend them mainly because I can only imagine what larger jobs would cost! **Also all tattoos can only be paid in cash** All in all, it's a nice place just a bit pricey!

They did a really good Job with the nose piercing! Although I wasn't told anything, How long until I can take it out, or how to properly clean it, nothing. They were still very nice people though and did an amazing job!

My behind the ear piece. A simple sunflower and rose intertwined. I asked for simple and clean and Manuel delivered. It's beautiful.

The shop is super clean with stunning visuals. Really impeccable. The staff is super friendly and beyond patient. Manuel was my artist and he was the absolute best. He listened to what I wanted. We discussed options for my designs and he was very communicative and attentive. He had a steady hand and did really beautiful, delicate work. One of my tiny pieces was a song lyric in a hidden spot and he had the forethought to play the song while I was getting it inked! I loved that. It was a very special touch. I'll be back. I found my new artist. The price points for tattoos may be a little high for some customers, but if the artist delivers a quality piece than it's well worth it. Cash only and they have signs everywhere (even though I still missed them until they were pointed out! Blind as a bat I tell you).

They used to be pretty decent and friendly but not sure what happened really- probably a change in staff or management maybe. The other day I was at this location trying to book an appt. for this weekend to do a second lobe piercing. And the folks in the store just straight up ignored me. There was even a guy in the front who was helping two customers in the lobby but never acknowledged me once. I was standing at the entrance where they had a sign that said they were booked for the day and to go to the next location in Kennesaw. I still had some questions to ask them tho since this is the closest location to me and I didn't have time to drive 25-30 mins all the way to Kennesaw just to be seen. You can't just put up a sign that says you're "BOOKED" and ignore anyone else who comes by. There wasn't even any info on how to book an appt online or anything. It was extremely rude of them to do so, I won't be coming back at all.

Quinn was my piercer she did my Ashley piercing, it was super quick & not as painful as I thought!

    Would not heal after MONTHS.

Please don't go here. I got my first ever facial piercing here- a surface piercing at that. I got my bridge done in March and they put silver in me despite me telling them I was allergic. They lied about the material. They sent me home with a curved bar, NOT what you are to use for bridges at all. Especially healing ones. These pictures are what followed during months of stress as this piercing is directly in the center of my face. I tried to do everything from simply spraying saline on and leaving it be to doing soaks etc. Never put aspirin or tea tree oil or anything on it as I know it isn't suggested by REAL piercers. I was heartbroken and they kept urging me to come in, and I decided against it. I saw another piercer, at Marked for life, and he placed a REAL TITANIUM straight bar in. It tore slightly around the right side hole as the bar was curved and the canal for the straight bar was a bit wonky. When we took out the curved bar, it was BLACK! Because it wasn't real titanium! Now, about a month or so later, my bridge is healed and beautiful. One of my proudest decisions was to choose to try and fix it rather than take it out but NO THANKS to black cloud for their piercing skill! I loved the people here though and it really sucked that this was the experience I had. I wish I could get my money back.

    The shop

They are absolutely trash. My wife & I walked in for her to get Medusa piercing ! Sky put it in diagonal and the wrong way. I will upload videos upon request. She did it wrong the tried to get an attitude about it when my wife wanted her money back. She ended up redoing the piercing & still doin it wrong.

The piercer was quick, gentle, and precise -- the placement was perfect, and I've had no issues since. During that first visit, I also fell in love with their jewelry selection. I had been on the hunt for unique, exotic nose rings, and Kolo definitely delivered. Yes, their pieces are a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and variety are absolutely worth it -- 10/10 every time. The receptionist is one of my favorite parts of the experience. She has amazing energy, always gives thoughtful suggestions, and shares her personal experiences in a way that makes you feel heard and cared for. The bald guy that works there is also really cool -- calm, professional, and always pleasant on the phone. What I love most about Kolo is that they truly know their craft. They take anatomy seriously and won't pierce you unless it's the right placement for your body. That type of honesty and expertise is rare. I recently made the mistake of stepping out for a $10 belly ring special somewhere else... and it went south fast. I came back to Kolo, and they saved the day. This place is forever my home for piercings and jewelry. Can't recommend them enough -- true professionals who care about what they do.

We wanted to get fine line Star Wars themed tattoos -- we provided the image and they advised to make the image a little bigger so the lines won't look shriveled over time. We agreed with their recommendation and got to the table with not much of wait. Everyone was very inviting, the place itself looked really cool and eclectic. I immediately thought of coming back for a flash deal if we were ever in town again! Very clean, very sterile, and very friendly -- so why one less star?? Unfortunately both our fine line tattoos have faded by the end of the week. The pressure didn't feel deep enough for either of us and the line work is VERY light. We already want them touched up but since we're not from the area, we'd have to find another artist. BUT that shouldn't take away fully from the good experience! Maybe if we weren't leaving to the airport after this, we would've been able to speak up and say to go a smidge thicker. Or perhaps we should've visited in the beginning of our trip so we can return for touch ups at the end of our trip after the first couple of days of healing. Not sure. But still good vibes here!

I saw the owner of Memorial, Phil Colvin, for my fine line/color/floral/watercolor tattoo…read more I was assured that Phil (w/ 35 years of experience as a tattoo artist) had the abilities & experience to handle this particular style. I provided Phil with a design in the initial consult and a (slightly edited, but essentially the same), design via email a week before the tattoo date. I also brought the image to the actual tattoo appt. Phil is a very nice guy, and owns a clean and professional establishment. He clearly has many years of experience as an artist. While I receive many compliments on the end result, I felt very frustrated during the process with the following: 1.) He added black outlines to a tattoo with very little black outlining (design had it only around the daisy). I found this out the hard way, as I had my eyes closed at the start to manage pain & was trying hard not to move. I didn't realize he had done it until I asked "What are you working on right now? I'm trying so hard to be still for you, that I'm having to keep my eyes shut." I have read much online about the topic of black outlining, and the responses are a mixed bag. 2.) His colors (the shade of green on the leaves, etc.) often did not match the original 3.) He did not choose-- or was not able-- to include the level of detail that the original design represented 4.) He made some other minor artistic decisions that were different than the original (ie: the shading on the daisy). 5.) A couple (not all) of the watercolor marks on original design did not turn out well, and I had to return 2 weeks later to get them covered up with leaves. I spent another $200 going back to Phil to get the small corrections made. In general, if any tattoo artist feels they cannot or do not want to accurately transfer design --- body (or feels that a specific element will not transfer as well), they should COMMUNICATE that to the customer. Something to the effect of, "I see that the design you provided doesn't have much black outlining. I think that black outlining is important because of ______ reason. Therefore, I am going to recommend that we do_______." Two-way communication is critical to the process of getting something permanently inked onto your body. He also was dismissive of the tattoo artist that I hired independently to do the design (a Germany based woman who does freelance design work, through fiverr.com). He said, "She just probably grabbed these photos of flowers off the internet; she's clearly not a tattoo artist." Which couldn't have been further from the truth!

Don't remember his name I'm horrible with names but never forget a face. Older black man with locs deep warm voice like a dad lol. But he was great. I got a double nose piercing; two on my right nostril and he made the process fast and held conversation to take my mind off him basically stabbing me in the nose twice lol. I love the placement of them being side to side and he used this measuring tool to check his spacing. I was in and out of there in under 20 mins with paperwork, getting my license copied, paying, picking jewelry, piercing, and the aftercare talk. Clean studio, smells of incense not smoke like a previous review I saw stated. I came in on a Tuesday they do half off select piercings. Picked out two little studs 2 for $40 but if you want the basic traditional studs it's 2 for $20. All in all I'm highly satisfied with how I was serviced and I'll be back when I heal up to possibly change to a hoop. Or get a new piercing. Parking isn't the best. It's just a driveway bc this used to be a house. They could definitely use better parking as the main road is hella busy I had to turn my hazard lights on as I moved my car to let someone out who was there before me.
