I love this because it is a way to support other local business and find new places to go to. The presentation of the 4pk cupcakes was amazing and thy looked yummy. My daughter started one first and loved it u til she found an edible ball of some sort lol said it tasted like coffee, I'm not sure. I tried the white iced one and the icing and cupcake were good, different but tasted pretty good. My son had the all chocolate one and said it was coo(he's 17 ) For my family personally this isn't really our preference but I know many people absolutely love it and that's amazing. We had no clue what each cupcake was so maybe future when ordered though the app they could write on the box what each is considering they are boxed when we pickup so we don't know. And that would be helpful.

Today I opted to get the surprise box and I'm very happy I did something fun and different! Thank you to the young lady she was very sweet. I also purchased this beautiful rose pink sugar cookie that looked like an actual rose but I didn't get a picture because I was buying it for my daughter to brighten up her Friday.

It is small, but the magic and atmosphere are just as big as the Carmel location! I got my usual pick 2 combo of the chicken salad sandwich and the tomato soup. We each got our own pot of tea. I do miss the larger pots they had a couple years ago, but the smaller pot is good for one person. I finished off my meal with the earl's court cake! It's my favorite and always tastes good later on too! And of course service was phenomenal! Our server was so lovely!

That could not be more true. We both did Pick Two: I got a chicken salad sandwich and my mother got a turkey and cheese both with the soup of the day which was butternut squash. Soup was OK, sandwiches were OK. I got a side of chips (not made in-house) for $3. My daughter was upset when we arrived bc she was napping in the car and she proceeded to cry for about the first 10 minutes so, I walked around with her to calm her before I sat down since it's so cramped to try not to disturb everyone else. She was not happy the entire time so we were trying to calm her and feed her. Cake slices and cheesecake are $17-20 each. They're large but other reviews say dry and taste old. That's pricey. We skipped dessert at those prices based on the quality of the rest of our meal... I got an $8 peppermint mocha which was good but, served in the smallest teacup imaginable. It's extremely small inside. Like, uncomfortable. Granted, I had a lot of items with my baby and her and we were seated at a table for two with her in my lap but it was close quarters and the waitresses were squeezing between the chairs to walk around. They have about 6 tables inside with a small event private room in back. Our waitress was kind but, the manager or owner was off-putting. She went to every single table seated except ours to ask how their meal was and experience and, when time to pay, she wanted to personally ring me up to ensure we left in a hurry. I get it, some places are not meant for babies, but, since it's billed specifically to kids, I thought this was. Nope, I was wrong. (She's 19 months - so, too young for this bougie of an establishment clearly) I would not come back at all unless it was for my, older daughter to have a birthday cake experience and get a couple cute pics. As far as instagram-worthy goes, they know what they're doing. As far as quality of food. It's like a 2.5 stars. I wish we'd waited and walked into the larger one in Carmel and just shopped and got some cookies to go!

I found A Smudge Sweeter on Instagram, and after admiring all of their beautiful, custom desserts, I sent a message. The owner responded quickly and was able to make 50 cake pops for our party with only a week's notice. Not only did she make cake pops, but they were intricate, incredibly-themed cake pops that brought a lot of fun to our event. The party was right before Thanksgiving, so the cake pops had fun toppers that looked like turkeys, footballs, autumn leaves, etc. They were also delicious, which is sometimes hard to do when they're that beautiful too. You can now order dessert tasting platters from this business, which is definitely the next thing I want to try! Perfect to try out all of their offerings before making a decision on an upcoming gift.... or a fun thing to bring over to a friend's house for a fun night!
