Waitress apologized that the BBQ platters don't take long to get together so its just something to keep in mind. I remember the first time our appetizer and entrees came out later so it really depends on what you order. Both times we got the large pub pretzel with crab dip. So good! I also had the cream ale and the blonde ale. I don't remember the exact prices, but they seemed in line with the styles and I enjoyed both. My biggest complaint was the 3.99% credit card surcharge. That seems steep, especially at a restaurant where lunch can already add up quickly and most people probably aren't carrying enough cash to cover a full meal. To their credit, there was ample signage about the surcharge, so it was not a surprise at checkout. Still, at this price point, adding nearly 4% for using a card left a bad impression. Besides the mornay sauce, the onion rings were another big favorite of mine. They were perfectly seasoned and crispy. I really liked the batter on the onion rings as I think it was executed perfectly and they helped to save the rest of the dish. Altogether, I'd enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. While one dish was lacking, the appetizer and my drink weren't. The prices were alright, a little steep but nothing I couldn't handle. The customer service was also really good as our waiter was kind and helped us with whatever we needed.
