Will try to be detailed and objective of my fairly below average experience with BKNY Printing. At the time of this writing, the publicly listed address on their job order form, google contact, were all incorrect. This really messed with me because I had wanted to supply my own shirts and specifically chose BKNY Printing initially based off their 15-min location proximity from me. After back and forth emails with them confirming the design, I was told right before I went that they were actually located at a different location that was over 30 min. from me. At this point I decided to go with them anyways because of the time already spent confirming the design. Once I dropped off my shirts, I was told I would get a proof of my design (for approval) fairly early the following week, but the entire week passed so I finally called them Thursday, and was told I would get the proof Friday. Friday passed (I called again), and I did not get the proof until the Monday after. After that, a similar thing happened where there would be no movement until I called them again (each time upon the time they had originally said they would deliver). It really felt like no attention was paid to my project, and I really had to push to get things done even after it was past their own estimated delivery time. When I finally went to pick up my shirts, one of the prints was off center, and when I made that comment the receptionist simply replied, "ok," in a way that really suggested she didn't care at all and didn't want to deal with it. No remedy or or even "let me take a look" offered. DMV style. At this point because of the longer than expected completion time, it was already the last day for when I needed the shirts so it was a moot point to redo or make revisions. In addition, there was an insignificant but noticeable ink smudge around one of the prints if I were to be picky. To be fair the other prints came out fine and are usable. But overall, it felt like a pretty sub-par service and customer experience. read more

I Placed an order to have different things done for my up and coming pop up shop. I called BKNY to make sure that Im getting the right t-shirt for the direct to garment service. The young lady on the phone said that as long as it's 95% cotton it will be fine. 2 weeks later I went to pick up my order and not only was it not done but they had messed up my whole order then told me that i got the wrong shirts !!! i waited 2 hours for them to do fulfill my order only for them to tell me that their printer was messed up!!! to make matters worse they decided to still do the job with with spots and streaks messing up my shirts. The young man in production brought my t-shoot hoodie to me SOAKING WET. with the wrong specs of the design.I wish i had more room to explain the excuses they fed me. The employee then went to go get his manager which was by the way, RUDE he gave me all types of excuses as to why things went wrong but really did nothing to make sure things were corrected. This shop came highly recommended to me by a friend, but after only 1 order by them, I've already regretted using their services. To start, both of the girls at the front desk are rude and carry this smug attitude any time someone asks a question. Every time I walk in, I'm never greeted with a hello, it's always like a "hurry up and get out" stare. Some spanish girl and a black girl. Secondly, I was told the shirts would take 2 weeks... that was unfortunately not the case for a simple order below 20 pieces. And lastly, why would they insist that costumers contact them by email, if NO ONE EVER RESPONDS TO THE EMAILS?! If their busy, that's fine, I get it. " She requested that I provide the graphics at a higher DPI, which I did that day. I followed up again a week later, no answer. I followed up again in a couple days, no answer. I remember a while back spending over 5k at this place and that's just printing alone. (I brought my own shirts) They told me 2 weeks which was fine but needed up 3 really, which is to me still fine. How ever half the order was f'd up. I was also charged for 3m reflective ink which they forgot to print on the design I requested it for. I emailed them about the mistakes and the idiot manager told me that they'd give me a complimentary 10% off my next order. Now why in the heck would I even go back to you after f!!king up a portion of over 300+ tees. They also got my artwork size wrong which had a lot of colors and charged me $50 to reburn each screen!! This place is simply un professional the customer service is like dealing with a governmental funded building bcuz nothing ever gets done in the time its suppose too i had my order here for over a month and still waiting for it too be completed, they over charge their customers for poor service and late un planned timing, then they make all of these bogus excuses like u the customer is too blame I waited for 2 weeks before they even touched my order bcuz their guy Ben was out sick my question is why haven't anyone else in the office picked up where he left off, why wsnt I informed ? I'm paying $689 for a order of 40 shirts this was the most horrible experience I've ever experienced doing business with anyone, I'm so upset that my dreams and first impression was done by these crooks I just wish I never ever walked into their building to do any work with them. Printed 100 shirts and I had to throw away 20 shirts. They ruined shirts. I received shirts with holes, paint splatter, stains all over. This place is a joke and a scam. They told me they were going to replace the shirts and never did. There was paint all over the shirts. They did a very messy job and did not care about what they were doing. Ordered a La Borinqueña tshirt as a gift for my daughter. Was supposed to receive the item on December 1st, but never even got a tracking number for the item. I tried to email them got no response. Decided to go with BKNY for my printing of shirts; never again. Clearly stated in the contract, the normal time it takes to complete an order is 2 weeks. When i call on the 14th day, i get the run around by 3 different people until i get on the phone with the general manager who tells me they were waiting on the ink for my shirts, when it had already been 2 WEEKS since i ordered the shirts. At this point they should have already been done. i argued my way until the point where he promised he'd get all 100 shirts done for me next day. the shirts had been made, but there had been a few that were done slanted and messed up. At the end of the day, i will never go back to this place, that's for sure. read more

Forget ordering from factories in remote locations, (singapore,china, the freakin' himalayas), I call on thursday for a short emergency order (our local parish needed Pope 2008 shirts for the Popes visit on really short notice), and its ready on friday! I get proofs, samples, hands on quality control, and the designers are pros. The costs are low, and the capacity is high. I'm a small fry compared to the average customer, (aside from the Pope shirts, I order small lots of t-shirts for my biz on occasion), but I'm still treated VIP. Highly recommended!!! read more

I strongly advise you not to use BKNY Printing. They will waste so much of your time and money. I did not do my research unfortunately before I chose to use them. They do not have top of the line equipment..and there DTG printer is horrible. The people using the equipment are also not educated on how to get the best results either.. And they will continue to charge you for there mistakes. It was also pulling teeth to try to get anyone to discuss my order. The guy at the desk who was helping me was nice but really not helpful. A lot of my time was wasted dealing with this company and a lot of money also. If you have a printing project that you care about DO NOT go here. There are more professional spots in the city that have top of the line equipment.. More knowledgeable and helpful staff..And better prices. read more

I got a message my review was taken down by these people so I'm reposting, im very unsatisfied by the quality of service from this place, especially in customer service and the physical quality of print. We placed a very large order of about $4,000 and the job was done very sloppy and careless. It is not a convenient place to order from there are way too many options and rules that complicate the order it should be convenient for a customer to want to continue ordering instead of making it a headache. After no answer to either of my two emails requesting a quote, I called three days later to make sure they received it , when she did a search "oh yes here I do see it...give us about three days to answer" so I did...I gave it a week, and no answer. I then emailed a different person than just the generic "info@..." he emailed back promptly asking for a mock up, which I did and sent it over the next day...that was a month ago now. The job was a last minute rush and Sheldon was patient and knowledgable helping me to choose the best materials for my job and by thinking outside the box, he solved a technical problem with accessing my artwork. I've heard a lot of good things about this company and its the reason why I went to them. Here is where the issue comes to play, I ordered my shirts to be screen printed 11 days before the pick up and I even gave them an extra day. So as I'm ready to pick up my shirts, they tell me that it's not ready. They tell me that the woven labels need to be put on. we agreed on 11 days plus I gave them an extra day and still not ready? So I gave them another day and I have the feeling that they never started my order because I was receiving mocks to get approved. It looked good when he sent it to me by email. I was super pumped to get my shirts even though they were 12 days late. So when I get home to look at my shirts, the design on the back was crooked. Yes, you can say I approved the mock up, but as a professional screen printing company this is not acceptable. I'm sure they noticed how crooked the design was and just continued to screen print it on all my shirts because they were in rush to finish my shirts that whole day. I felt cheated and lied to.
