We have been coming to the dells for years and never came to this little gem. Seriously if I could give them a higher rating I would. Food fantastic. I had an omelet and it was super thin layers with all the stuff in between. I am not impressed easily but this definitely was a great surprise. My partner had pancakes bacon and hashbrowns. He is never really full and he said this is a lot of food. Prices were beyond reasonable and better than almost anywhere else. Cute place and homey feeling. The staff was a lot of teenagers and a few veterans. Those teenagers were on top of it. Refills cleaning up. Making sure we were happy while the rest of the staff was taking care of others. As a mom of 4 I was super proud of them and I really hope their parents read this as well. We are full and happy. I highly highly highly suggest this place. Oh they also have a coupon off in the books. That's just the cream on top. read more

I just ate here literally minutes ago and all I can say is just wow. I mean I didn't expect much based off of the appearance outside but it pretty much matched the food. Disappointing and a waste of money. My family didn't finish their food and the only decent thing is the cinnamon roll. I wouldn't recommend, I wish I ate at the local Denny's instead. read more

Great experience! I got a sense it's a local favorite and it's not hard to see why. The service was easy going but kindly attentive, giving the ambiance of a charming hometown restaurant. The food was fairly priced and pretty darn good. Even the coffee was a step above your typical diner brew. From looking around it seemed like anyone who walked in those doors truly felt like the target demographic. Very warm and welcoming place, I'd definitely come here again. I came here in October which is an off season for the Dells, which may explain why they were just serving breakfast from 7am-12pm. BUT even though I'm on vacation, I'd rather wake up to go to BJs then to sleep in! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for an easy morning and a good start to their day. This restaurant is quaint - the menu isn't extensive, but the prices are good. I got a meal that included 1 egg, hashbrowns, toast and pancakes all for $5.50. You can't beat that price. The pancakes were really yummy. The rest was average breakfast fare. My husband got biscuits and gravy and said he really liked it. The gravy had a bit of a spice to it that he liked a lot. If you're looking for variety, this isn't the right place. If you're looking for a cheap breakfast with delicious pancakes, then I think you've found your spot. This is a solid breakfast restaurant. Two people ate for $31.00 The Blueberry crapes deluxe were fine. The blueberries were like very pie filling like. The whipped cream was good. The French toast blueberry deluxe was similar with the sauce. The toast was about an inch thick and good. The OJ was ok, but lots of water and no pulp. The coffee was good. First the host didn't want to sit us. She said it was a 20 minute wait. 20 min later I walk in to see where stand on the wait. I see on the paper she crossed our name out. She said she apparently called but no call was received and I seen that she kept seating people infront of us. Next the waitress was rude on taking our order. She brought half of us our drinks and 2 others in our party havnt gotten their drinks. The food quality was literally a 1/10 Me and my family wanted to try a family business instead of something like IHOP. But honestly we were way better going to IHOP. Me and my Girlfriend brought our family to Wisconsin to have a good time. And honestly this restaurant ruined the whole experience. We were ready to leave a tip of over 50% But after realizing all the Hispanics got seated in the back. And all the white people got seated infront. We ain't leaving SH*t This restaurant is the most racist thing we've experienced here. If you're Hispanic. Please save yourself the hassle of having all the white people look towards the back and seeing the minorities seated in the back. Update : we never asked to sit in a booth. Really friendly place. Went there with two kids and my wife. The owner interacted with our kids and had conversations with them. Our kids colored pictures and the owner hung them up on the mirror. Food was great, typical breakfast stuff. Menu said no subs, but we don't eat pork and the owner once again saved the day. read more

One word - horrible!! 25 minute wait outside no problem. But an half hour wait for food after you order is a little excessive!! Regular coffee was kept warm too long, the decaf was great. Tomato juice was good. I ordered the corn beef hash with hash browns and two soft poached eggs. My wife had hash browns and a scrambled egg. My wife said you should have seen my face when I finally got my plate!! The corn beef hash was a round circle that look like it was a slice of a 28 oz can of Hormel. It looked and tasted that way too. The hash browns were perfectly cooked on top - nice and crunchy - but below that it was a greasy undercooked mess. The only thing that was good on my plate was the eggs. My wife's hash browns were the same as mine and her egg was the best!! Sorry but never again! read more

I was in the dells on vacation with my family and found this place on Yelp. Being from Chicago, expectations are high and this place succeeded. I got the crepes, sausage and hash browns. My mom got the Big Howie and my grandmother got French toast. All super good. And our waitress, Tori, was amazing!! Super attentive and came back multiple times to make sure we were ok or if we needed anything else. If we were staying here an extra night I would come back again for breakfast. KID MEALS: Pancakes, French Toast, or Eggs. Served with two pieces of meat & a small cup of fruit cocktail. The fruit looked & tasted a little aged (either sat out too long or wasn't very fresh), but not a disaster. Found this gem on our way home from staying at one of the water parks. It was delicious! They have the best hash browns I have ever tasted. It was a very busy Saturday and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table - it was worth it! The food came out quickly and the young man that waited on us was very friendly. Our server was fast...not friendly. Tried to argue about what meal my mom ordered. Mom ordered vegetarian omelet but apparently the cook didn't get that message as the omelet had bacon in it. I was very happy with breakfast. Showed up on a Saturday at 9 am and it was busy but they take your name and call your cell so you can wait in your car. They said 30 minutes but was only 10. Food and service was perfect breakfast diner style. I had a little steak and eggs. Steak was surprisingly tasty for a family diner. Coffee was amazing. I don't know why the coffee was so good but everyone at the table commented on how good it was. Definitely recommend. read more
