It's not bad if you don't mind waiting forever for your food. I'm not sure what they do back in the kitchen. Pfizer made the covid vaccine faster than these mouth breathers made my eggs. Wtf read more

Our family loved this restaurant. We had actually gone to another place initially, but due to the long wait and limited seating, we left and ended up here, but for the next time, we will now know where to come. We didn't wait long. They have reasonable prices, great food and great customer service. read more

I would say the food was good not great and you get what you pay for. We ordered a cinnamon roll to share and it was cold not warm. Booo. The service was on point which is good for a tourlist area. read more

I just ate here literally minutes ago and all I can say is just wow. I mean I didn't expect much based off of the appearance outside but it pretty much matched the food. Disappointing and a waste of money. My family didn't finish their food and the only decent thing is the cinnamon roll. I wouldn't recommend, I wish I ate at the local Denny's instead. read more

Originally my wife and I were heading to IHOP but decided we would rather go to a family-run business. We were very thankful we did. Immediately we were met by a kind waitress who took care of us the whole time we were there. Coffee was refilled every 5 minutes and our food came quickly. I ordered the super breakfast and my wife ordered the big breakfast. Both entrees were delicious and came at a great price. It was so good in fact that we came back the next morning to enjoy the experience again! The cafe is very family friendly. For anyone who is craving breakfast food - go to BJ's! read more

Biscuits and Gravy were tasty along with everything else. Service was good. Coffee was hot.

Please fix your sign on the building that says open 7am for breakfast. Closed up tight when I arrived this morning. read more

We have been coming to the dells for years and never came to this little gem. Seriously if I could give them a higher rating I would. Food fantastic. I had an omelet and it was super thin layers with all the stuff in between. I am not impressed easily but this definitely was a great surprise. My partner had pancakes bacon and hashbrowns. He is never really full and he said this is a lot of food. Prices were beyond reasonable and better than almost anywhere else. Cute place and homey feeling. The staff was a lot of teenagers and a few veterans. Those teenagers were on top of it. Refills cleaning up. Making sure we were happy while the rest of the staff was taking care of others. As a mom of 4 I was super proud of them and I really hope their parents read this as well. We are full and happy. I highly highly highly suggest this place. Oh they also have a coupon off in the books. That's just the cream on top. read more

This restaurant is quaint - the menu isn't extensive, but the prices are good. I got a meal that included 1 egg, hashbrowns, toast and pancakes all for $5.50. You can't beat that price. The pancakes were really yummy. The rest was average breakfast fare. My husband got biscuits and gravy and said he really liked it. The gravy had a bit of a spice to it that he liked a lot. If you're looking for variety, this isn't the right place. If you're looking for a cheap breakfast with delicious pancakes, then I think you've found your spot. They also offer coffee to-go when you're leaving, which always makes us happy. read more

My family went here for breakfast everything was delicious I got an omelet. My wife and kids got the crepes again they thought it was great. I heard people talking about how good the gravy was on the biscuits. read more

This is a solid breakfast restaurant. Two people ate for $31.00 The Blueberry crapes deluxe were fine. The blueberries were like very pie filling like. The whipped cream was good. The French toast blueberry deluxe was similar with the sauce. The toast was about an inch thick and good. The OJ was ok, but lots of water and no pulp. The coffee was good. Service was fine but we were on a very light day. I can imagine this place might get busy. read more

Great service with tasty food and nice sized portions. A good value! Exceptionally clean and friendly. We would not hesitate to go back and enjoy another meal. read more

Great experience! I got a sense it's a local favorite and it's not hard to see why. The service was easy going but kindly attentive, giving the ambiance of a charming hometown restaurant. The food was fairly priced and pretty darn good. Even the coffee was a step above your typical diner brew. From looking around it seemed like anyone who walked in those doors truly felt like the target demographic. Very warm and welcoming place, I'd definitely come here again. I came here in October which is an off season for the Dells, which may explain why they were just serving breakfast from 7am-12pm. BUT even though I'm on vacation, I'd rather wake up to go to BJs then to sleep in! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for an easy morning and a good start to their day. Thanks for the great experience guys! read more

First the host didn't want to sit us. She said it was a 20 minute wait. 20 min later I walk in to see where stand on the wait. I see on the paper she crossed our name out. She said she apparently called but no call was received and I seen that she kept seating people infront of us. Next the waitress was rude on taking our order. She brought half of us our drinks and 2 others in our party havnt gotten their drinks. The food quality was literally a 1/10 Me and my family wanted to try a family business instead of something like IHOP. But honestly we were way better going to IHOP. Me and my Girlfriend brought our family to Wisconsin to have a good time. And honestly this restaurant ruined the whole experience. We were ready to leave a tip of over 50% But after realizing all the Hispanics got seated in the back. And all the white people got seated infront. We ain't leaving SH*t This restaurant is the most racist thing we've experienced here. If you're Hispanic. Please save yourself the hassle of having all the white people look towards the back and seeing the minorities seated in the back. Update : we never asked to sit in a booth. We just wanted to get seated. We saw people getting sat before us. It overall was just a horrible experience at this restaurant. read more

Really good food with impeccable service staff. At one point we saw 3 servers out on the floor with coffee pots. I had a Denver omelette; it was folded with piping hot insides. Spouse had crepes. See you next visit! read more

Hands down the most friendly service I've ever received. The waitress and owner were on top of their game. The food was also great. Try the biscuits and gravy. Great way to start the day. read more

Where do I begin? Love this place. We have been coming here for as long as I can remember. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Service is fast. Food comes in huge portions and always delicious. LOVE the biscuits and gravy. Definitely a MUST for breakfast!!! read more

We stopped here twice during our stay in WI. Food was delicious. The portions were large. Staff was super friendly.

Very good breakfast! Corned beef and eggs done perfectly. Wife liked her omelet. Couldn't get in yesterday - plenty of room on Monday am.

Really friendly place. Went there with two kids and my wife. The owner interacted with our kids and had conversations with them. Our kids colored pictures and the owner hung them up on the mirror. Food was great, typical breakfast stuff. Menu said no subs, but we don't eat pork and the owner once again saved the day. read more

Food was great and the service was quick. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was because of the portion size. If a menu says "huge" it shouldn't come on a regular plate and look like breakfast at any other restaurant. read more

Great breakfast served quickly. Our server was friendly and even gave us a discount for having to wait on our cinnamon roll. The only reason it's a four star instead of five is the atmosphere felt uninspired. read more

I have this place an excellent review before and I wanted to update it... Still excellent! The other places at the Dells don't quite seem as nice as they were before, but BJs is a great local restaurant that's great for breakfast and a great family atmosphere. read more

Sooo good food, and probably the most courteous staff of any restraunt I have ever been in. No wonder it was full of people.

The food is fine. We had pancakes and crepes. The crepes were made from thinned down pancake batter, rather than crepe batter. The service was good. I don't have a reason to come back here. It's not bad, but 4.5 stars is too high. read more

Fast and friendly service. Good for families. We all enjoyed our meals. Michelle was a great waitress who was obviously experienced.

A must stop for us I can't say enough good things about this place. Family owned, friendly staff, great prices and yummy breakfast. What more can you ask for? BJ's is a refreshing change to the madness of the Dells. GO THERE! read more

One word - horrible!! 25 minute wait outside no problem. But an half hour wait for food after you order is a little excessive!! Regular coffee was kept warm too long, the decaf was great. Tomato juice was good. I ordered the corn beef hash with hash browns and two soft poached eggs. My wife had hash browns and a scrambled egg. My wife said you should have seen my face when I finally got my plate!! The corn beef hash was a round circle that look like it was a slice of a 28 oz can of Hormel. It looked and tasted that way too. The hash browns were perfectly cooked on top - nice and crunchy - but below that it was a greasy undercooked mess. The only thing that was good on my plate was the eggs. My wife's hash browns were the same as mine and her egg was the best!! Sorry but never again! read more

I was in the dells on vacation with my family and found this place on Yelp. Being from Chicago, expectations are high and this place succeeded. I got the crepes, sausage and hash browns. My mom got the Big Howie and my grandmother got French toast. All super good. And our waitress, Tori, was amazing!! Super attentive and came back multiple times to make sure we were ok or if we needed anything else. If we were staying here an extra night I would come back again for breakfast. Make sure to check this place out if you are new to the Dells or visiting. read more

Great breakfast food at a reasonable price. The service was outstanding also. Busy little place, not great for large parties, but they accommodated us and the food was fast. Would go back again. read more

Great little breakfast place! BJ'S SPECIAL: English muffin with eggs your way, layered with ham, & topped with American cheese SAUCE! Dang good & very filling! KID MEALS: Pancakes, French Toast, or Eggs. Served with two pieces of meat & a small cup of fruit cocktail. The fruit looked & tasted a little aged (either sat out too long or wasn't very fresh), but not a disaster. The small drinks (juices, milks) are a little pricey at $2.30 for 8 oz. and are not included in the Kid Meals. read more

Great meal. Ate there with my family as we were leaving town. Service was fast. Food was delicious. We had a great time.

misleading. went to BJ's with a group of 8 guys expecting a pretty unique experience. do not let the name fool you, we ended up getting food service. Weve had it with the false advertisement here at the dells. food was decent tho, 3/10 read more

Great local breakfast. Fast, friendly service with good food for the price. Last 2 times in the area we went here.

Our server was fast...not friendly. Tried to argue about what meal my mom ordered. Mom ordered vegetarian omelet but apparently the cook didn't get that message as the omelet had bacon in it. Food was greasy but plentiful. Not our cup of tea. If you are wanying to have a quiet, peaceful meal...this is NOT the place. It was so loud. I felt like I was yelling to have a conversation at my table. Lastly, the food destroyed our stomachs. I mean we were in pain. Just saying....think twice. read more

Breakfast done right! Didn't take photos cause we were scarfing it down too fast!!! I got the smothered biscuits, hash browns and eggs. My sister got the big breakfast. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, hash browns, sausage and toast! She couldn't even finish it all! Service was great! Friendly and fast even if the customers were still piling in. Very nice even when I would of flipped out on the con artist group that asked for a table by misrepresenting that their whole party was there when it wasn't. I would of asked them to leave but she was so calm and composed. Any case. If you're looking for a nice meal in short order for cheap go to BJs. read more

Found this gem on our way home from staying at one of the water parks. It was delicious! They have the best hash browns I have ever tasted. It was a very busy Saturday and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table - it was worth it! The food came out quickly and the young man that waited on us was very friendly. My husband got the biscuit and gravy, one kiddo got pancakes and the other got a Denver omelet. Everyone enjoyed their food! read more

A good solid place for breakfast. I had eggs over easy, hash browns and pancakes. All solid. Nice server. Priced fine.

Tremendous value and a great breakfast. Pancakes were great and the hash browns were cooked perfectly.
