I used to rent from them all the time. Not anymore. We recently rented a tractor. It had bald tires…read morefrom the beginning. Then when one of the tires went flat, a mechanic from another shop came and confirmed that it was because there was a patch that had gone bad. Piva refused to cover the cost of a new tire, charging us $400 to replace their bald tire! This was absolutely ridiculous. Never going to use them again. Stay away!

Beware of how Piva treats loyal, understanding customers!…read more Over a year ago, a delivery driver from PIVA smashed into my car bumper, damaging it. Rather than go through their insurance--which could have hurt the driver's job and reputation--I worked with Jim in good faith to get the repairs done locally, at my cost, to save everyone time and money. PIVA agreed to this approach, and I genuinely thought I was doing the right thing by being flexible and understanding. Fast forward a year: after hearing nothing and getting no reimbursement as agreed, Jim handed the situation over to their insurance, leaving me to deal with endless runarounds and no resolution. My patience was met with complete indifference. Then, after all that hassle, I reached out recently to rent equipment from them again, thinking they'd be considerate of my past flexibility. Instead, I was told they wouldn't even deliver to my address! In a community where everyone tries to look out for each other, I expected better treatment. If you're looking for a company that values loyalty and understanding, you might want to think twice.

He almost crashed into me over it and was laying on the horn and throwing a expletive fit, so I just went to the next row back and parked there instead. Maybe they're only nice when they make a sale or something. I'm not sure if it was because I was younger or a female or maybe just was there but the guy seems very miserable in their life and I hope their day gets better tomorrow because yikes. I've never made a Yelp review before, so me writing this should say a lot about what happened today. I'd be embarrassed if I were him.

I've rented stuff from various rental places including Home Depot (The worst!). This place has…read morebeen incredible. If I have a tool out for an extra hour, they don't make a big deal about it. I had a rental scheduled for a dump truck, and the truck they had for me broke down, so they rented one from a competitor just to make sure I had one, even knowing that it would likely cost them more than I was paying for it. Add to that, the dump truck they rented, didn't have the same tow hitch as the one required for the bobcat I rented and had planned to tow with it, so they delivered and picked it up at no additional charge. Since I wasn't able to tow it, I also wasn't able to fuel it back up after use, and they didn't charge me for that either! Since then, I've rented a dump truck and bobcat from them a second time, a jack hammer, and most recently, a concrete coring tool. I've yet to be disappointed with any of my rentals, pricing, availability, or their ability to bend over backwards to make sure my needs were met. I've been working with Mark as my sales rep, but they are all very happy to be of assistance! I highly recommend you consider them for your future rental needs! I know I will!
