As I myself followed up on my glasses I received a few different reasons it took so long. In the end for whatever reason it took the time it did it still should have been handled differently. It kept getting blamed on the lab and yes it was the labs fault apparently. BUT your only as good as your behind the scene workers. If it was a restaurant and your food was wrong - you send it back. Now if you have to wait for another two hours for the correct food to appear - we'll I can guarantee you would not be happy or possibly leave. Once again a restaurant is only as good as it's behind the scene kitchen workers. I'm happy I got my glasses as I have two months of banking I was unable to do which now I'm catching up on. Will I use Dr Dombrowski's practice in the future (?) I'm not sure. I always believe in second chances. Time will tell. I truly hope other people do not go through the same craziness. Although the Eye Associates' Tech insisted that NO Insurance ever covers the Refraction exam, my Insurance confirmed that it is COVERED under my plan and there is NO co-pay. Eye Associates charged me $25 co-pay and wanted me to pay additional $50 for the Refraction exam. It is getting more and more difficult to find a truthful business.

So, this was my experience: I arrived at the office approx. 10 min. early. So, I approached the counter, and just as I was getting my paperwork together, the secretary said: 'NAME!' A few seconds later she yelled it out again, and I told her: "I HEARD YOU!! GIMME A CHANCE TO ANSWER HON, RELAX." (because sheh wasn't being patient with me. Give people a chance to respond, before ya keep repeating yaself.) So, after I handed her my new patient forms, she pulleduup on her computer, my insurance info, and she said: 'It looks like we do not accept your insurance. You said you have Health Wellness...?' So, I said: "Yep! And Health Partners Medicare." Her response was: 'Unfortunately, it looks like we do not accept your insurance here, unless you wanna just be seen as (pay as you go(?) I can't remember the terminology, but she was alluding to my being treated, if I wanted to be seen there as a new patient, without coverage.) So, I told her: 'Nah, nah-no. I have another Dr.'s appt. anyway, I'll just go to that one. It's fine." Now... I was plenty polite, and I left. So... I remembered after I left, that they had never called me in the month prior to my appt., that they didn't accept my insurance. So, I said to her after I returned to the window: " Ya know, nobody ever called me to tell me that my insurance wasn't accepted. And I was under the impression that it was accepted, when I made my appt., here." She said: 'It looks like somebody may have tried to reach you, but it was too little too late...' Now... here's what the whole snod damn problem is: I despise having my time wasted bg some clown Dr's. office, and getting sent on some wild goose chase, without any common courtesy or forethought to informing me that my insurance isn't accepted. And the other reason why I'm pissed off with clowns like this, is because they need to get their sh** together, as a professional outfit, and cut the bullsh. People don't all day taking houses out of their merry way to make needless doktors trips, for no reason. Because of chronic eye issues I've seen several of the providers, and had many procedures and testing done. I finally just committed my care to one provider; Dr Pierre K. Palandjian. While I've seen other doctors that I liked he is my favorite. He's sensitive, listens to my concerns, and really seems honest in his feedback and recommendations. When another doctor in the practice was pushing for me to have Lasik surgery, Dr P disagreed and told me several reasons why he didn't feel it was a good fit for me. His words echoed the advice of my original doctor from another practice long since retired, who told me the same thing years ago. I feel like I can trust him and that's important. I also like this location more than the one on Lititz Pike. There's diversity in the ages of the patients in the waiting area where Lititz Pike seems to cater to an elderly crowd. The Lititz Pike waiting area because of clients with hearing loss is so noisy, everyone is talking loud and the tv is loud. I hate going in there. The wait is always long and they never run even remotely on schedule. This location is more relaxed, quiet, and seems to run on time. I honestly wasn't that impressed when I was first transferred to this practice after my other doctor retired but because of Dr P and his gentle care, and the discovery of this location, they're growing on me.
