I inevitably ended up choosing Pristine Cleaners because of positive word of mouth (yet no Yelp reviews... this one will change that of course) and proximity to my gym (literally 4 doors down). I dropped off 12 items (a few pairs of pants, some shirts, and the tuxedo from my wedding) and picked them up a few days later (they had asked if I needed them in a hurry, which I didn't, so the pickup was scheduled for a few business days after drop-off). Picking up my clothes, I was glad that everything was ready on schedule as promised. When I got home, I unwrapped each shirt/pair of pants out of their respective plastic and inspected the job done. Overall, I was very pleased. Everything came out clean and mostly wrinkle-free. I had some sweat stains around the collar on a few shirts as well (when I dropped them off) and was glad that most of those stains were almost completely gone. More importantly, I was happy that my tuxedo was handled perfectly. Prices here are reasonable, and the owners accept most major credit cards. They also have a separate station for tailoring as most dry cleaners do. I'm sure I'll be returning to Pristine Cleaners in the future despite other dry cleaners that are closer. Great work overall!

Got the recommendation to this place from my regular dry cleaning spot, after she turned me down…read morewhen I asked her if she'd launder some towels ruined by the storm surge from Hurricane Sandy. They have 3 ways to get your clothes clean. You can either come in and use the coin-op machines yourself, pay a little more and drop your clothes off and pick them up on a pre-determined day, or (if you live within a certain radius) they will come to pick up your laundry in their van, wash it, and drop it off for you. I dropped by with 5 garbage bags full of seawater-marinated towels, rugs, and other assorted items. After getting looked at funny, and told it would be a week's turnaround given the surge in customers from Sandy, I told them to take their time and I'd be back whenever they asked me to be. 7 days later, $30 out of my pocket, and everything was cleaned and good as new, wrapped up tightly and neatly in large (and sturdy!) plastic bags. These guys are good, and I look forward to using them for large items until my own replacement appliances come in.
