Besides the affordability of the services, this has made it easier to bring my business back here. I did not realize, but there is a tailor on site, and they handle ripped leather material upon inquiring. I wish there is a provision for ZERO stars because this guys deserve that. This establishment has been there for awhile despite their inability to deliver a clean shirt to virtually any customer. Their Shirt Laundry service is terrible. They iron your dirty shirts and hands it back, really. Two of my treasured wool suits have been destroyed by this guys. I brought a custom dress there to be cleaned and they ruined it. It had silver trim everywhere and it was returned white. The owner said it was the fault of the material and walked away. For the past few years, I've been using Millennium, mostly because the prices are pretty good (99 cents per shirt, $5.99 per suit). Apart from a few issues during this time, my experience here had generally been OK. The family who runs Millennium was usually rude but I didn't really care. More recently, I brought my girlfriend's coat in to have 3 medium buttons resewn into the fabric and to have the coat dry cleaned. In addition to the dry cleaning cost, they quoted a price of $6 per button. I told them that I'd bring it elsewhere as I've given them a ton of business and wasn't going to pay such an absurd price to sew a few buttons. They apparently thought it was reasonable to start bargaining in increments of 25 cents per button. I left with the coat and gave it to a local seamstress. A few weeks later, I found myself in a crunch and needed a few shirts dry cleaned. I dropped them off and returned days later...shame on me. I found the tickets stapled into my shirts (picture is included). As previously mentioned, I had a few issues with this place over the years, this being one of them. It had happened before but I never chose to do anything about it. I politely told the owner that I would not be able to come back if I got my shirts back with staples in them. He reluctantly said that it wouldn't happen again. I mean how hard is it to put a tag through a button hole? I don't bring my clothes to a dry cleaner to repeatedly have them stapled. One or two staples for the first time, yea, it's admittedly not that big of a deal, but if it's a weekly occurrence, your shirts start to look like swiss cheese. A few weeks later I returned and my shirts were stapled. When I presented it to the owner, he ripped the tag out of the shirt, looks at me, and says "What problem? No problem." After exchanging a few words, I realized that I wasn't important enough to him as a customer and that he wouldn't do anything to remedy the issue. These guys are ALL about volume, not quality. Go elsewhere. Won't go back and hope that at least one person sees this and thinks otherwise. read more

I took my daughter's brand new dress with tags still attached here to be hemmed and taken in. I returned to the dress stained on the chest area in two spots and taken in too much it couldn't be zipped. He charged $120 and completely ruined the dress. Kim the owner was rude and said my daughter probably gained weight.....seriously 5 days later!!!!Kim the owner was rude and blamed the stains on us. I should of read the reviews prior to going here. You get for what you paid. My husband wanted to try a different place so we went here. The first two times the cloths came ok, but after the month coming here we started notice the buttons were broken and damaged so badly. My husband point this out and they replaced them but came out with the shirts had cheap buttons even though it's a expensive shirt, which didn't make senses for me because some of shirts were brand new and others were dry clean in another place and never we had this problem. I see that many people are not very happy with this place. However my personal experience from this place has been excellent as they always take care of my clothes with care and the service is done on time, as they promised. Price is very competitive, not just for the .99 shirt washing but also for cleaning the ladies clothes. My girl friends also have been going to this place after my recommendation. They have been around the neighborhood for such a long time that I feel like people who have been going to this dry cleaner just have no issue and don't even bother to write reviews hence the low star rating on yelp. Especially I would like to mention the seamstress lady there. She is an excellent tailor person who knows what to do and very skillful in her work. She has done many works for me from as simple jobs as doing my jeans/ pants hems to wedding dresses. I would highly recommend her if you are trying to fix your clothes to fit you perfect and make you look fabulous. Been there 4 different times, came back with 4 different shirts with damage to them (hole, button broke, etc.) On top of that the shirts were still dirty. When I came back to show the dirty collars that were still dirty, he said "Well it's only $.99, not very strong cleaning, only soap and water" I told them no problem, left and went back to my old cleaners. This has to be one of the worst dry cleaners that I've ever experienced. I recently moved to West Hempstead and was looking for a dry cleaner near by and found Millennium Dry Cleaners. I had a long dress (which a friend let me borrow) and 2 blouses. I wore the dress for a wedding and the bottom of it had some dirt stains on it and I specifically told them to focus on the bottom to get the dirt removed. They said they would and that everything would be ready by tomorrow. The next day I came to pick the clothing up and noticed that the dirt was still on the dress. It didn't look like they even tried to get it out! Not only was the dirt still there but I noticed 2 staple holes at the top of the dress. Still my go to place for laundry and tailoring. I've been going here for years, and haven't had problems. My clothes are returned clean, and the people there are helpful with pointing out any stains or damages they find. I usually have a lot of dry cleaning because of work, and it's been affordable with good quality- never really had an issue with it. I always need to refit my new clothes, and the tailor there is through with measurements and knows what she's doing. Overall, it's an easy place with reliable service. Love it. read more
