I was shocked and disappointed to see it happen here. It's a shame because even though they assured me that going forward it would be done right, I can't go there. Trust has been compromised and I can't support a business that engages in these kinds of scams, then lies to cover it up. Now i can't walk to my dry cleaner, but at least I'll hopefully get what I'm asking for (and paying for).

Both the man and woman behind the counter are short with customers, they charge more than the price they said an item was on the phone, it's like they don't even attempt to get stains out, my clothes somehow smell worse when I pick them up, and all my shirts are poorly pressed, if you would even use that term (they all have multiple creases pressed into the fabric which takes me 20 minutes to iron out once I get home). These people are really nice. They take politeness to a new level. They charge very low prices as…read morewell, and have never screwed anything up I have dropped off. I can't say that about all the cleaners in Manhasset. They also have free starch. and sometimes little free candies out. I have been testing out all the different places in town, and this place is still my go-to cleaners. I'm here at least every week to drop off, or pick up. I will continue my mission of trying out all the cleaners nearby, but so far, this place is the best. There is easy parking nearby, behind Raindew, and across from Youngs'. You can sometimes find a meter with money left on it if your feeling stingy... Which is what I often am feeling lately. ; )
