Food court is fine, there's some good options and I actually like that it's next to the entrance/exit of the mall so you don't have to be "stuck" in a second story hidden area forcing you to walk by stores while getting out of the mall. The good thing about this area, it's literally a couple minutes walk from the convention center so it's good for people when they're in town for some kind of convention. There was a live bands performing in the middle which was nice to watch them playing some fun tunes. It's not extremely big but big enough to spend some time there. Awesome events like the Shoreline Summer Concert Series that kick off around Memorial Day weekend and go strong until Labor Day weekend. With a solid variety throughout the season. Pirate's Cove, Istanbul Home, Saga clothing and a plethora of shops are worth exploring with cool gifts, souvenirs and fashions in stock. Wheel Fun Rentals has you covered on just about every kind of man-powered device in two to four wheel form, including tandem bicycles. Eat at Yard House, Shenanigan's (Irish Pub), Parkers' Lighthouse and Gilan's Pizza to name a few. Grab a treat at Funnel House, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Exotic Jerky (where they do care some vegan jerky varieties ). Parking is pretty easy though not complimentary. It's about $2 for two hours and a max of $16 for the day. You can get up to $10 off with validation from various Shoreline Village businesses.

There's a few sit down dining places but nothing overly fancy. You have more of the bigger chain restaurants right across the street along the water and Shoreline Village. There's a movie theatre, a comedy center and a couple of decent amount of shops. Nothing over the top but your local shops like HM, Nike, Guess, Gap Outlet and a few others. It is a nice place to walk around and just see Long Beach. You're literally close to the convention center which is right across the street. Aquarium and the park is also across the street which a bridge is also use to cross over. The Marina Park, Shoreline Village are all a couple minutes walk from the pike. It's a cute little outdoor shopping area but nothing major. There's plenty of parking in the structure with some street parking along the strip.

I can always find a bargain at one of the stores to fit my budget. I love that they added JD Sports in the place of Big 5. I get all my hubby's Vapormax shoes from JD. Great choice mall management. I appreciate that the mall grounds inside and out are kept clean. It's so convenient when you need an item asap and can't wait for delivery. The lots are pretty well lit and mall security is visible. I even saw mall security give a citation to someone who was double parked. I didn't know that could happen. Overall I give our little mall an A+!
