got a new Kershaw pocket knife here today. great customer…read moreservice! very helpful! great prices

We went to the Big Five store there on Saturday, 10/25/2025 with the intention to buy an Everlast…read more100lb heavy boxing bag, an Everlast speed bag, and the Everlast stand for those two bags. We also intended to buy some other things. These items totaled over $300.00 that we were going to spend that day. When we asked about the boxing bags and stand we were referred to a young man that was in that department. The first thing he said was that his leg hurt, and he was having a bad day. We saw sales tags on the bag and stand, but the tag was on the wrong bag. He didn't seem to know which bag was on sale, so we showed him an ad, and found the right bag. We then asked about the stand which had a sales tag on it for $144.49 but he said it was $150.00. When we asked why 150.00 instead of 144.99 he flew into a rage, and said in a very very loud voice: Jesus Christ, I only a rounded up a penny (not recognizing that it was a difference of over $5.00 not one penny) Then he turned around, and stomped off, not speaking to us anymore. We called out after him, (and I know he heard us) but he wouldn't acknowledge us. We then went up to the checkout desk and told them what happened, and asked to speak to a manager, They said the person we talked to was a department manager, but they would have the store manager contact us when he came in the next day. They also said that the person who helped us seems to have bad days every day, and there had been previous complaints about him. The store manager still has not called back. We have called the store three days in a row now, and the store manager still has not contacted us. We just get the the promise that he was looking into it, and would call us back. We find this totally unacceptable, as we have been loyal customers since this store branch opened years ago, but no more.

My favorite part of this particular mall is that they feel the need to have a "directory". Um…read more.. let's see... there's one hallway with a very small hallway leading off one end. Not exactly cause for needing maps to find your way around! It's sad to see empty stores, but that seems to be changing. Macy's and Ross probably bring the most to the mall with good pricing (if you watch the sales at Macy's). Love to see the indoor walkers going to town in our little mall. It's an awesome place to do just that. Walk. Plenty of room for people watching as well... with benches and "coffee shop" type seating throughout. Hey... I guess we're fortunate to have a mall at all! If we ever get an outlet mall, PV needs to look out! Why can't we get some of the outlet stores to participate here in an economy that needs the added discounts? Since I don't prefer "mall" shopping to simply visiting stores of choice, I don't really go one way or another with Pony Village. I'm glad they are here for those who like hangin' out indoors, since there's lots of rain outdoors most of the time. :)

Too bad one star is a he lowest option, because this is a he saddest, dumpiest mall I have ever…read moreseen. Very dated, bathrooms are filthy and in disrepair. I talked to the "manager " and he was rude, hostile, and confrontational instead of wanting to work to make this place better. I witnessed him yelling at other people, maybe who work there? But only women. Maybe a coincidence that it was only women he was verbally abusing. The stores are nothing special, but the theater is horrible. Audio quality is grating. My advice is if you're passing through and don't live in this community, just pass it by and go to Walmart or Bi-Mart. Especially if you are female. That manager gave me the creeps

The only place I shop for most of my household goods. Service is another reason, your missing out…read moreif you don't visit BiMart

Went here to buy a carton of Camel Wides. Saw the clerk by the stand where tobacco products are…read moresold. Stood behind the man who was checking out, then got told another gentleman who was well away from the register was next. Okay, I can accept that. Then it went further downhill. I asked for a carton. They did not have a carton. Huh? Camel is a MAJOR brand so everything they offer should be in stock, right? The BiMart in North Bend has been my backup supplier of cartons before and always had them so what is Coos Bay BiMart's problem? Next I get asked for ID. I am 70 and obviously well past the legal age of 21 but okay, here's my ID. I then get asked to take it out of my wallet, which is difficult. Common sense is totally lacking from the lady running the checkout stand and when I complain, she threatens to call management and not sell me my Camels. Now I am really pissed after all this BS. If you don't want to deal with idiots and fools who cannot keep stuff in stock and cannot even tell when a senior citizen is well past the legal age without going super intrusive, then AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! BTW, I have a Lifetime Membership card dating back to 1970 when BiMart first opened in North Bend. This is the worst encounter I have had with them in over half a century.
