Too bad one star is a he lowest option, because this is a he saddest, dumpiest mall I have ever seen. Very dated, bathrooms are filthy and in disrepair. I talked to the "manager " and he was rude, hostile, and confrontational instead of wanting to work to make this place better. I witnessed him yelling at other people, maybe who work there? But only women. Maybe a coincidence that it was only women he was verbally abusing. The stores are nothing special, but the theater is horrible. Audio quality is grating. My advice is if you're passing through and don't live in this community, just pass it by and go to Walmart or Bi-Mart. Especially if you are female. That manager gave me the creeps read more

Most all of the major stores have closed. I think the last store of any size was "Ross" a lot of the interior shops were closed. A few restaurants were open but not a great selection!! I feel with the COVID-19 outbreak and people not going out a lot for shopping, business has just dropped off!! I hope someday it returns to its better glory days. read more

I gave this place 1 star because there is not a lower rating. First I went in with children it did not feel safe but they begged to stay and look around. It is not clean around the edges seam dirty or at least really dingy kind of felt abandoned so many closed stores we walked past a display of candy/toy machines the quarter kind and there were busted open ones so you know security must be bad because there are no stores what are they watching the TV? It sure is not the common areas after a half dozen stores we left there was this pudgy little man with dark hair watching us. No sure if he worked there or was just a creep but he gave me goose flesh and it was the last straw. We will not be back. Save your self some time skip the "Pony Mall" read more

I was a vendor for winter fest 2022. I was anew comer that was made to feel welcome by Chloe( manager for winter fest) from the start to the finish of my time there! The other vendors were equally as welcoming. The customers were polite and Friendly. There were lots of people walking the inside for exercise and they were friendly as well. A very good experience for the holiday season!I would return! read more

Our local arts organization recently hosted a four day exhibit of local artists working in a variety of mediums from painting to cast concrete relief sculptures. The management and staff of the mall went out of their way to make our gallery space attractive and provide needed tables, chairs, etc. The maintenance staff was most helpful and endlessly patient as we moved and rearranged equipment to make the best of the display options. We are very happy with the outcome of our event and know the success was due to the interest and cooperation of the mall staff. Thank you all. read more

Out of towners- you must stop by the Pony Boy Mall for a taste of small town Americuh. This place rules. There's a saddlery, all branches of military recruiters, a new-agey tribal gift shop, and Sears. The movie theater is way cheap and is now stadium seating. Sure, there might be a green line running through the screen throughout the entire film but who cares? Using a GPS? Set it to the British guy and program it so that he tells you "Now arriving at Pony Boy Mall." I almost wet my pants. It's the small things that make life meaningful. read more

The Pony? Really? 4 stars? Wow.... I say 2 stars for this place. Perhaps 13 years ago they could've had a 4 star rating when they actually had stores in there. I remember the days this place used to be packed! Christmas time this mall was shoulder to shoulder with people. Now when you enter this place, you'll see your own reflection more than you'll see other people. There is one good thing that's still in the PVM. It's call Los Dos Amigos. Since I've moved to Eugene I still cant get the food and service that we did there. They should be more precise with the name....Shetland Pony Village Mall. read more

Worst experience ever the toilet exploded all over me and the security guard just stood there and watch with no help at all

This is a mall? Kind of a sad little place. Nothing much. A Ross, a Sears and a couple nail salons. Probably about the right size for Coos Bay, but don't go expecting much. read more

My favorite part of this particular mall is that they feel the need to have a "directory". Um... let's see... there's one hallway with a very small hallway leading off one end. Not exactly cause for needing maps to find your way around! It's sad to see empty stores, but that seems to be changing. Macy's and Ross probably bring the most to the mall with good pricing (if you watch the sales at Macy's). Love to see the indoor walkers going to town in our little mall. It's an awesome place to do just that. Walk. Plenty of room for people watching as well... with benches and "coffee shop" type seating throughout. Hey... I guess we're fortunate to have a mall at all! If we ever get an outlet mall, PV needs to look out! Why can't we get some of the outlet stores to participate here in an economy that needs the added discounts? Since I don't prefer "mall" shopping to simply visiting stores of choice, I don't really go one way or another with Pony Village. I'm glad they are here for those who like hangin' out indoors, since there's lots of rain outdoors most of the time. :) read more

I believe the mall is shooting themselves in the foot by allowing stores to dictate what kinds of stores allowed in the mall. Some clothing and sporting good store has wanted to fill vacant stores in the mall, but they are not allowed due to contracts from existing stores. Pretty sad when you walk in a mall and have three nail salons in a row. read more

I don't think I've ever seen a more sad mall with more closed businesses than open. I heard they charge too much for rent. Sad :-(

Always remember how great this mall was growing up in the area. Macy's left years ago and this thing is just a ghost of a place. Hope they get an anchor tenant and some decent stores before the whole place gets knocked down. read more

And now, Macy's is closed and that end of the mall empty. The Sears store is just appliances and I don't find the staff especially helpful or knowledgeable. It makes me very, very sad to see Pony Village in this condition. And sad for a community with limited, and lessening, choices and fewer jobs. read more

It's clean the new owners have provided several seating spaces where one can enjoy a cup of coffee or just visit. Also free Internet. My friends and I walk there for exercise. It's a secure place. Plenty of parking and a variety of stores. read more

This mall I grew up going too. And my mom even worked there for over 30 years. Now that mall has over 26 stores vacant due to poor mall managing it is the biggest disappointment for a mall that I have ever seen in my life. That's why now where I need to purchase any items I go to Walmart or I shop online. The mall owners need to pull their head out and get a better manager and pull some new stores in there. Especially with our area becoming more of a retirement community and The prospects that LNG is going to come in. What are people supposed to do not everybody has access to a computer or the Internet. So if the mall owners don't want to lose every store they need to come and pay attention to that property. They have not gotten any new holiday decorations in years. They have not done any remodeling in years the bathrooms are gross and disgusting, the handicap accessible doors have not worked in over a year and the list goes on & in. read more

This is the largest indoor mall on the Oregon Coast. It has a good assortment of stores for a small town, and is a good place to go for a walk without dealing with the weather or to meet up with friends. read more

I don't care for malls and this one isn't special but you have to give them credit for having what's needed. Amazingly, I walked there from my motel (NOT the best logo in town) and was able to get a charger for my cell phone. Hurrah! It was a normal price. Hurrah! read more

There were two major stores. One closed last year and the other will be out by March. There are more empty spaces than rented ones. The majority of stores now are cellular outlets.I remember when it was a a busy place with many stores and a fun place to shop. Very disappointing to see this happen. read more

A few good stores left but nothing like one would imagine a mall to be. Upstairs is an obstacle course with shop owners children running around. Hours are not the best. Aside from Ross and Macys there isn't much else to go there for. And thankfully both of those have outside entrances. read more

Very sad that all of the stores are packing up and leaving. Leaves very few options for shopping in this town, I wind up going online. Rumor has it that the rent was raised, which is why everyone is bailing. read more

Went to Los Dos Amigos Mexican restaurant a couple days ago. Great food, as always. Stopped in at Sears. Something has changed for the better! Word is that there's a new owner /manager. It's DEFINITELY an improvement. I can recommend the place once again. read more

Some of the reviews are not good, I like it there, its small but fun to go to. There isn't a lot of shopping anywhere on the Oregon coast, so I'm happy with what we do have in North Bend, Yeah for Pony Village Mall. It doesn't matter to me that the movie theater is a block away in the same parking lot, it beats looking for a parking spot in a big city. There are 12 or 13 theaters within and they have currant movies. In fact I think we will go over ther tomorrow and watch one. I like this place so much, it looks over the bay and the beautiful North Bend Bridge. The view is tremendous and the temperatures in the summer hover around 70 which a lot better than 90 to 100. If you are a visitor you will find this a quaint little mall with a Macy's, Ross, JC Penneys, and some small shops. Plus there is a good Mexican Restaurant and a Chinese Restaurant inside. Lots of free parking too~ by the way, if you have a hat on hold on to it, cause it's very windy here, beach is close by and overlooks Pacific Ocean. There is also a very nice Safeway store close by, and a few restaurants across the street that are very nice. That's all folks! read more
