The store is conveniently located next to Ulta (Eugene). I was greeted by friendly sales staff when I walked in the door and told her it was my first time in. She explained the set up of the store and asked if I needed any assistance with selections. After browsing about an hour, I found quite a few things to try on, and was escorted to a dressing room with my name on it. All of the staff were very nice and helpful, which is refreshing. I ended up with a couple of nice things and they even helped me with an online purchase for an item that was out of stock in my size. I will definitely return to Maurice's.

When I came into the store, I was greeted warmly and professionally by the two lovely ladies working on the floor. I browsed through the many options available, but wasn't sure what to look for as a comfortable, durable option to use through long work hours standing in place. I wish I would have gotten the sales associate's name, she was so knowledgeable and truly helpful. She educated me about a properly fitting shoe, what specifically about the components of the shoe would help my biomechanics to relieve my low back pain, and really made me feel like she cared a lot more about teaching me what I need rather than selling me a product. Not only did she end up finding me an excellent shoe in my budget, but I even found another few pairs that I can't wait to go back for as soon as I can afford to do so. This is my first real "grown up" nice pair of work shoes (Danskos) and she made the whole process so much less intimidating by explaining everything to me in detail, including how to properly put on/take off and cycle out shoes to keep them in peak condition for longer. I felt like she was genuinely trying to make sure I had the best understanding possible of what would be the top choice for my specific needs and body rather than trying to make a sale or steer me towards the pricier options on the floor. I always love supporting a local family owned business, but Jennie's makes it an incredibly easy choice to keep coming back to a place with extraordinary service, reasonable pricing, expertise in their field, and layaway options to work for any budget. I will be happily recommending this business to anyone who is in the market for new shoes, insoles, socks, or anyone who (like me) was woefully uninformed of what goes into the process of choosing footwear that suits your anatomy and activity. If you do stop in, please consider opening Apple Maps (if you use iPhone) and reporting a missing business at their address 262 Central Ave, Coos Bay so they can have their business appear on the Apple Maps page as well:)

The power head of my Electrolux quit working gradually, I thought it was in the elbow into the power head turns out I was right after she checked everything else. They said they could order a part and fix it for me . About a week later I go get my vacuum and it works for about 7-8 months then gradually stopped working just like before. I figured I couldn't hurt it so I took it apart found the problem, wire connection in the elbow to head the part that should be new. The protective stuff around wires was all frayed, scuffs all over the part it is NOT a new part. I took the part and paperwork in to the store and talk to them. They show me the invoice for the new part and I'm told "I believe my worker". Then he says "we always send the old part with the customer, where is that? I told him I wasn't given an old part just my vacuum and the bill for $104.95 parts and labor. I was ripped off , charged for a new part and installation and all they did was reattach old wire which didn't hold. I will never use or recommend The Electric Hospital again..

The problem? I had replaced the vacuum bag with a Miele knockoff. Not a good choice on my part as the lid to the Miele jammed initially and the machine would no longer start. Even when the lid was realigned, the hose would not click into place. Staff also bandaged up a cut on my hand which I acquired when, at my car, I removed the knockoff bag. After the first aide, I purchased genuine Miele bags. Comparing the genuine article with the knockoff, it is apparent why the knockoff was so capable of doing damage to me and my machine. Thank you, Electric Hospital.

She is working Wednesdays - Saturdays from 11am - 4pm and sometimes runs just a few minutes late. I hope when I'm her age that I only run a few minutes late too. We arrived from out if town the night before and I left her a note asking if she would call if she opened. She called just a few minutes after 11 and I jumped in the car to get there. 1) If you're a yarn snob - skip it. The store is packed, homey, somewhat unorganized - and utterly glorious in my opinion. (Your loss as she has some spectacular yarns!) 2) Judy is a wealth of knowledge and has forgotten more than I'll ever know about knitting. She'll sit down and teach you ANYTHING! 3) Her dog is all bark and no bite. She only wanted to meet me and lick me to death. She doesn't wander around the yarn or the store, just sits with Judy 4). Be ready to troll through boxes, step over fallen avalanches of yarn and best of all - be inspired! If you are looking for something in particular - ASK. She'll be able to find it after some thinking, and I'm always in awe of her selection 5). DON'T MISS THE BACK ROOM. You're welcome. 6). Give yourself plenty of time - it's overwhelming. My mind was racing from project to project and sometimes I just sat down and chatted for a few minutes to get focused. I've been shopping here for well on 15 years now (and I don't even live in Oregon!) and my only disappointment is when she is closed. I'm hoping as covid starts to clear, she can find reliable help and expand hours soon. Don't give up - it's well worth the wait!
