It was the only one that I ended up buying something from. We were greeted immediately when we entered and browsed for about 15 minutes. There was decent selection, but prices were a bit high at some booths. They had some great vintage fashion that we really enjoyed looking at! The employee was friendly and chatted with other people who came in. They seemed to know each other and got along well. We chatted casually when I was checking out and it was a pleasant conversation. The bathrooms weren't for customers. There is ample street parking so it's super easy to get here. The store is clean and easy to navigate. If I lived in the area I would probably stop in here every once in a while!

We've been incredibly fortunate to find things we've needed but put off buying and surprisingly... some of the items were never used. We bought a Troy Built Rototiller new for a hundred bucks. Can't beat that!!! Consider the cause, and support the store. It helps all of us in the long run. I will say I was a bit surprised when we made a donation a while back, and the moody fella taking merchandise suggested wool coats (it was winter) were not acceptable due to visible dog hair. Ever heard of a lint roller? And... he also turned down a pair of virtually new shoes from Paris. It's kinda weird what they do and don't take... but I love the concept and support Hospice whenever possible. You never know when you'll need Hospice. It's good to support what you'll likely use yourself one day.

The store is conveniently located next to Ulta (Eugene). I was greeted by friendly sales staff when I walked in the door and told her it was my first time in. She explained the set up of the store and asked if I needed any assistance with selections. After browsing about an hour, I found quite a few things to try on, and was escorted to a dressing room with my name on it. All of the staff were very nice and helpful, which is refreshing. I ended up with a couple of nice things and they even helped me with an online purchase for an item that was out of stock in my size. I will definitely return to Maurice's.

She is working Wednesdays - Saturdays from 11am - 4pm and sometimes runs just a few minutes late. I hope when I'm her age that I only run a few minutes late too. We arrived from out if town the night before and I left her a note asking if she would call if she opened. She called just a few minutes after 11 and I jumped in the car to get there. 1) If you're a yarn snob - skip it. The store is packed, homey, somewhat unorganized - and utterly glorious in my opinion. (Your loss as she has some spectacular yarns!) 2) Judy is a wealth of knowledge and has forgotten more than I'll ever know about knitting. She'll sit down and teach you ANYTHING! 3) Her dog is all bark and no bite. She only wanted to meet me and lick me to death. She doesn't wander around the yarn or the store, just sits with Judy 4). Be ready to troll through boxes, step over fallen avalanches of yarn and best of all - be inspired! If you are looking for something in particular - ASK. She'll be able to find it after some thinking, and I'm always in awe of her selection 5). DON'T MISS THE BACK ROOM. You're welcome. 6). Give yourself plenty of time - it's overwhelming. My mind was racing from project to project and sometimes I just sat down and chatted for a few minutes to get focused. I've been shopping here for well on 15 years now (and I don't even live in Oregon!) and my only disappointment is when she is closed. I'm hoping as covid starts to clear, she can find reliable help and expand hours soon. Don't give up - it's well worth the wait!
