It's a chilly early spring day and their Lobster Bisque was perfect. The butter is perfect too. Every detail covered. I'll be back for their 37€ prix dice dinner.

This was a phenomenal dinner and truthfully exceeding expectations I had before coming. Little did I know this was the restaurant where my Opa proposed to her - what a beautiful surprise!!! The location is remote, peaceful and the grounds of the restaurant are beautiful (including a garden where they grow some of their own produce). The service was attentive, friendly and respectful. We went for the largest tasting menu with wine pairings - the pairings were also very well received (my oma mentioning she did not like red wine much, but after her first taste said "this is pretty good I think I could like this"). The food was truly gorgeous, thoughtful and technique driven without being overbearing. The ingredients were fresh and I still recall (a year later) the langoustine, foie and green apple dish that was the stand out of the night -- that's my kind of surf n' turf. It is experiences like this that remind me why the Michelin guide might be so stingy in cities like Chicago - because the food here was truly on a different level and wildly deserving of a star. DELICIOUS!!!!

It's a cozy little place, modern, a mix of wood, Asian architecture and hip seats. I viewed the menu in advance and saw they served green curry. My favorite, so I actually already knew what I wanted to order. When I saw that they also serve Tom Kha soup, I was momentarily confused, because that's like the next best thing for me to green curry. But as I work nearby, I vowed to come back for lunch and try the soup. My love went for a very spicy version of the green curry with tofu and I kept it safe on a medium spiced. The curries where served in bowls upon a heater. Rice was served in cute little disks on a separate plate. The taste was very good. It wasn't the best curry I ever had, but it surely was lovely. A nice blend of flavors, with lots and lots of bamboo shoots and pea-like objects I wasn't familiar with, with a hard shell, soft inside and a bitter taste. They complemented the taste of the curry very well. I drank a red Merlot to accompany the curry, because I love red wine with curries. My love tried a Singha, a traditional Thai beer. The tables where adorned with a Thai touch, which made us talk about visiting Thailand and daydreaming what countries along to visit. A Thai restaurant that inspired you to go visit said country, should be interesting no? We had a very good time and will certainly come back to this cute place.
