Spott is a new place in Doorn and is housed in what once was an old abandoned premises. It is nicely renovated into the early 20 century style in which is has been originally built. The restaurant offers lunch and diner options with a nice variety of drinks. The question is if this place can be a welcome addition to the already somewhat saturated restaurant market in a small village like Doorn. It has to compete with a place like The Notabelen which attracts a loyal crowd. But, in all honesty it certainly has potential to be a viable alternative for a somewhat higher end lunch and diner menu.
Staff is friendly and efficient and food is great! I had the steak/scampi salad with bread. Enough to have a great lunch. Well balanced with meat, fish and vegetables. The dressing was a bit on the greasy side, but not too dominant. A great place with lots of potential! read more
