The restaurant isn't very convenient if you don't live around the area, but it was worth walking the extra 10 minutes to get to this lovely little restaurant.
We went there as a family of 8 on a Friday night for a 8pm sitting (booked on the day). The menu wasn't big but definately had enough to suit everyone's taste. I had the pork belly for the main which was tasty, a little too salty if I'm being picky, but the meat was succulent and tender, the skin was crispy and not burnt. It came with a tangy full of flavour red miso, potatoes, and and tomatoes which came together really well. For dessert I had the pancakes, which was delicious, the outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy, and full of flavour. It's a shame that one of the pancakes was undercooked and so it was still runny in the middle. Our waiter was friendly, but at times neglected us a bit, although the flip side is that we weren't rushed to get out!
All in all, would come back again. read more
