To access the menu you need to scan the QR code on the tables. It opens a menu with a lot of amazing drinks. Unfortunately because I was driving I did not get to enjoy any of them. However a pamplemousse Mojito sounds delicious. They also had six shots for $20 I believe. I wouldn't recommend going with a group of more than four people. The table do feel tight, especially when you like food and everybody is ordering a few things. I ordered the nacho for 4. It came with ground beef, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream and surprisingly guacamole. I said surprisingly because I'm not used to guacamole being serve without being extra. The size of the nachos was definitely not what you would expect for four people. It is definitely on the smaller side. Did not come with a side of salsa or sour cream. I was also surprised I didn't have jalapeño or anything that would make it spicy. We got burrito, quesadillas coming. Nice size would compare to a regular wrap size. Not one of those oversize burrito. The quesadillas also came wrapped as a burrito. Had a little side of salad with tomatoes and guacamole. I found them to be a little disappointing. Good but Not filled and tasty like they should. For dessert I got the gluten-free cheesecake. It was ok can't be mad this is a mexicain spot after all. Haha the spot is really cute they have a cute patio, and cute washroom just be careful the seat slips from side to side.

BEST STEAK HOUSE - Honestly I think this is the top steak house ive been to in Canada. It was so…read moregood and I was blown away. Went in with no expectations but was blown away by everything, from the service, to the food. Gobsmacked that this isn't more well known as I know so many people who has been to montreal countless of times even the locals who hasn't been to this steak house. Its also a casino and cigar lounge so it makes it even better. Oyster rockerfeller ($21) ~ OH GOD this was phenomenal. The bechamel and the parmesan cheese was so rich and paired so well with the fatty and sweet oyster. 10/10. Fried calamari ($24) ~ super crispy, and well seasoned the pieces of calamari were big and the cocktail sauce it paired with was chef kiss. It was perfectly cooked and not rubbery at all! 9.5/10. Linguini with octopus and cuttlefish ($42) ~ the pasta was al dente, there was chunks of tomato, and seafood which was nice. 7.5/10 22oz bone in cowboy rib steak ($75) ~ perfect cooked and perfectly seasoned it was so good and the meat melts in your mouth! It was absolutely chef kiss if I didn't have to share I would've devoured this soo quickly it would've scared everyone. Definitely worth it for the price, and it was beautifully done. 10/10. Wild mushroom ($14) ~ well seasoned and sauteed it was good and the mix of mushrooms were a great pairing with the steak. 8.5/10 Loaded baked potato ($16) ~ I UNDERSTAND - this is a well known side dish here and I know $16 for potato its totally worth it though. The potato was so cheesy and buttery and melts in your mouth it was rich and also paired perfectly with all the dishes we got. This potato was on another level for sure. 10/10. Empress gin & tonic ~ stunning perfect ratio of gin and tonic, and it was delicious an the rosemary on top was the perfect garnish. 10/10.

The Rail is their casual eatery and it does a great job serving up Stateside comfort foods. We're talking burgers, salads, pastas and pizzas that are definitely a step up from most card room faire. Easy fan of their "crunchy jack burger" piled high with crispy fried onions, chipotle mayo and maple BBQ sauce. Also the simple chili. Looks like it came from a can but definitely doesn't taste like it. Pizzas are all wood fired. Chewy, puffy crust. Order by the menu or customize as much as you like. Ingredients might not be the highest quality but it's still hand crafted and better than any premade processed pie. Create your own pasta, OK. Satisfying since its made for your mood. Tortellini with spicy arabiatta, mushrooms and spicy Italian sausage somehow matches the energy at the tables. All beat the quality of a certain Olive chain. Friendly and efficient service befitting the property. A great spot for a quick refueling before returning to the frenetic energy of the tables.

The bone marrow with snails was also good, but the combination was a little weird. I liked the bone marrow. I liked the snails. But served together took away from enjoying each part on its own. The duck was roasted to perfection. The skin was so crispy and the meat just fell off the bone. Same goes for the braised veal cheeks. There was no bone to fall off of, but the meat was so tender and just came apart as soon as I pressed down with my knife. I can't wait to come back to try the Salle à Manger since it's a different menu. Foie gras parfait 8/10 Bone marrow, Burgundy snails 8/10 Braised veal cheeks 9/10 Duck confit 9/10

While the food was delicious, the overall experience fell just slightly short of what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Service was the main area that didn't quite meet expectations. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before receiving menus and had to ask for them. Throughout the meal, interactions felt a bit rushed - several staff members who stopped by the table were somewhat brief, and on a few occasions, items like bread or water were dropped off while we tried to ask questions, but the busser had already walked away. That said, the restaurant was quite busy during lunch, so it's possible the pace and attentiveness were impacted by that. As for the food, we ordered the albacore tuna appetizer along with the strip loin, butcher's cut, and duck for our mains. Everything was well-prepared, though the duck portion was noticeably small. Desserts were a highlight - especially the pavlova with maracuya, which was excellent. Our server Laura was professional, though not very engaging until the very end of the meal when we were settling the bill. I would still return, as the food is strong, but I have to say that Bar George left a more lasting impression on us in terms of both food and service.
