Great place. Been there just twice though. Burgers and Euro food, both delicious. Good domestic micro brews and Euro beer options. And you can get 1L in a boot glass, which is great, but you're better off getting 0.5L x2 for a slightly less cost. Fast attentive service without being obnoxious or fake. Wow. Buckle up kids it a garlicky ride. Wandered in, starving, garlic fries and onion rings for apps. Both excellent with the fries being a bit toooooo oily. From the food to the drinks this place is European brew pub meets American sports bar. Menu ranges from American classics like burgers and pizza to sausages and schnitzel, with the beer selection featuring traditional German brews to local favorites. Beers were available in a variety of sizes starting with a pint and going all the way to das boot. I was expecting pretty typical bar food that did the job, but this place more than delivered on the quality and flavor. We ordered the sausage fries, stroganoff, and pork schnitzel - all of which were damn good. The stroganoff was a crowd pleaser with others in the group ordering it too, and those potatoes with the schnitzel - talk about flavor. The owner was the only one working the front of the bar and he was awesome, super friendly, got all our food out quickly, and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing okay in the cold. We came as a large group with a couple dogs at dinner time and sat outside in the parklet. Had no problem finding space for our group with indoor seating available as well. Cool spot that I'd definitely come back to when in the mood for a big beer and some schnitzel. read more

This is such a fun place to hang out and watch sports with a nice group of neighbors as regulars. I love the food. It's true that during big games when owner Neal is doing everything behind the bar and taking orders and serving up dishes, it can take a while. It's worth the wait! We ended up leaving in frustration before we could even order. The restaurant was busy, but the owner was visibly overwhelmed and seemingly unwilling to bring on the necessary staff to handle the crowd. We sat at the bar for over 15 minutes trying to get his attention but we kept on getting brushed off being asked to wait a few more minutes. While we were waiting, we witnessed the owner get visibly angry and defensive at other customers who politely pointed out the long wait times. After chatting briefly with a few other waiting patrons who shared the exact same complaints, we decided it wasn't worth our time and left. Great little spot in our neighborhood! Came by to watch the niner game last week and have dinner. We were happy to find a bar / restaurant with lots of TVs in our new neighborhood. Also, lots of niners fans! They have a decent selection of beer - many European choices! Made us feel like we were back in Prague and London. I ordered the burger and husband ordered the fish and chips. The burger was surprisingly really freaking good. Cooked medium rare and very flavorful and juicy. Very high quality. Came here the night of the Oregon St vs USC basketball game. It was my first time there and it was a busy night. We got two boot beers and I got the margarita pizza. It was pretty cold that night so some stranger asked to turn on the heater for us. We thanked him for his kindness because we were trying to turn it on ourselves. The kind man tells us he is the bar owner's cousin so he was just helping his cousin. We thought that was nice. Although it was busy, we got our food quick. $20 a boot beer- I would definitely say they're a hit. My first time ordering a boot beer and it was good. Tasted like a Stella to me, I like that. $15 pizza- I usually try to order a Margherita pizza wherever I go. It's simple, really good, and fast. I asked to add prosciutto ($2 charge) which was a really good price compared to other restaurants who has charged me more. This pizza was crispy, had lots of prosciutto, and was more than enough to feed 2 people. This night was busy. They have all the hot sugar dads there, even on a weekday. If you'd like to get a boot beer, with good food, and finding prosperous men, this is the place! Lol. We will be back as my friend is a regular here. read more

It wasn't the worst burger I've ever had, not the best. I would go back for the chili cheese fries. It's just ridiculous to be one average sized woman eating an order of chili cheese fries by herself. I'd like to try the buffalo wings, given the fries situation, the wings are promising. I saw the menu and it looked like a kind of typical "Greek-pizza shop" but the name however was more intriguing, so I decided to look them up on door dash. To my surprise I found some German food, salads and sides that sounded more Interesting. Since then I order at least once a week! Proper portions that are a value. Nice salads, and GREAT buffalo chicken tenders. I googled the place and found that the owner cares a lot about this business. He bought it a few years back; and clearly he still cares about quality. I live a few steps away on Fulton (for many many years) this is the best business to come into this space, and we hope for Nael's business to keep going strong!...The food is awesome, with vegetarian options too :) it is hands-down some of the best hummus I've had in the Bay Area (and beyond)... Nael's family recipe made by an awesome chef who's out of sight but care for food is on your plate for sure. The place is incredibly inclusive and open to all... we love watching the 9ers and the Bills here, and can hang out here any night of the week and have awesome conversation with Nael, folks from the neighborhood, and USF'ers as well! read more

Friendly, prompt service with very reasonably priced food and beverages. This was the 2nd time I have ordered the pork schnitzel entree. It was super tasty and the portion was generous. It was served with roasted, (garlicky) potatoes and sauerkraut. I was not disappointed! One of the other appealing features of this neighborhood restaurant/bar is the fact that they have NFL Sunday ticket and they open at 10AM!
