The menu is pretty expansive so it can be overwhelming at first, but I love how they have everything in Spanish & English to make it easy for those of us who cannot speak Spanish...YET :) The mimosa & food was very tasty. The potatoes...OMG, how crispy. All of it was good, but I wouldn't say anything was spectacular although I would come again if I wanted something that I wanted to ensure was tasty! My server was so sweet and did a great job of confirming my order and checking in with me despite the crowd. The only flag I would put is for the coffee drinks. Some of the lattes are VERY sweet. I saw two other people who also ordered different flavors and we all collectively ended up sharing how we didn't expect them to be that sweet. They are loaded with syrups, whip cream, and whatever toppings that align with your flavor, so just know that before ordering one. We got takeout instead and went back to our hotel to eat. When I opened the egg dish my friend ordered I wanted to laugh. It may feel overwhelming at first, but it's an exciting overwhelming knowing that anything you get is going to be delicious and filling as all portion sizes are huge! It was super affordable, which is always a nice touch. Our server was beyond wonderful, kind, and very accommodating given that we had non-meat eaters and gluten free members with us. I loved the feel of a Puerto Rican diner. It was such a special experience. Be sure to get there as early as possible as it is walk in only and extremely popular. We waited an hour and a half. Even with quite a few people waiting, I was seated in about 10 minutes. Since I was dining solo, I was sat quickly at the bar. I ordered the Cotton Candy Mimosa, and the presentation was super cute. It came with cotton candy and a coconut ice cream garnish--yes, ice cream in a mimosa. The coconut ice cream was absolutely delicious. If I had known sooner, I would've pulled it out and enjoyed it before it melted into the drink. The mimosa itself was a bit on the sweeter side for my taste, but the coconut ice cream helped balance it out. For my entrée, I ordered the Mónaco, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing each time, and so were the beverages. Service was good. We really enjoyed our server during our second visit. She was more attentive to our needs and personable. Whereas the server during the first visit seemed really rushed and short in communication. Our food was brought in a reasonable time considering how busy it appeared each visit. The staff is negligent and unreliable. They always forget a part of the food ordered. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast, so when I say my meal at Bistro Cafe was the BEST BREAKFAST I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE, I mean it!! I seriously couldn't believe how delicious everything was! My party of 4 arrived at 10:30am and were told that there was a 30 minute wait. Thankfully, we only had to wait for around 20 minutes before being seated. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't outside seating because I wanted to enjoy the morning sun, but when I saw how aesthetic the interior of the restaurant was, I forgot all about sitting outside! I was instantly enthralled by the extensive drink menu, and since I usually start my mornings with some type of coffee, I ordered the caramel iced latte. This is NOT your typical latte! The Rim of the cup was lined with dulce de leche and cookie crumbles, and was topped with a heaping helping of fresh whipped cream and cinnamon sugar. My mom tried one of BC's signature "ice pop mimosas" in the pineapple flavor. It looked gorgeous and was so refreshing, especially with the fresh fruit. I didn't think this could even be possible, but the food was even better than the drinks! I had the churro pancakes, which were topped with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and bananas; and covered in cinnamon sugar. I just ordered the side order, which came with 2 pancakes, but the full order comes with 5(!!). I have never met a pancake that I didn't like, but even I couldn't finish these pancakes--not because they weren't delicious, but because even 1 pancakes with all those toppings left me feeling so full. My mom had a croissant sandwich, and while most people see bread as simply a base for a sandwich, this croissant really shined on its own! It was so flaky and buttery, I was contemplating ordering one for myself to take back to my hotel! Also made it in before rush hour so we were seated as soon as we arrived. we ordered a regular latte with almond milk and my son ordered a caramel Latte, both were beautifully served and adorned to perfection.
