My husband and I bought an RV from Bish last year and we've had nothing but issues since. First being, I went into the store asking about parts for the fridge. Someone was looking into it, took my info, and never called me back about the parts. Not a huge deal, it was just door parts for storage so I didn't push it. Then the fridge goes out, luckily we bought the extra 5 year warranty. The sink was also falling down, so they screwed it in and charged us over $200 to do so. Then proceeded to tell us we didn't get the service discount we were told we got when we bought the camper. We also found out the valve for the reserve tank needed replaced, also covered by the warranty. What they didn't tell us was that they left water in the tank, which we drained prior to prepare for the winter. Then it took us weeks to get ahold of them to get it winterized. Either calls went unanswered or messages were not returned. We had a bad freeze and they still couldn't get us in for another week after finally answering a call. We didn't know they left water in the tank until too late and it froze in the tank and our showers. When we finally got it in they tried charging us to thaw out the tank, and reluctantly waved the fee. We then took the camper down the interstate to transport it and THREE of our four plastic guards under the camper fell off from where they didn't secure them properly after thawing out the camper. We have been trying to reach them for 2 weeks now about that issue and still have yet to hear from them. They were also supposed to contact us a couple days after the last service about a shower head they ordered and never called us about that coming in either. I'm so incredibly unsatisfied with Bish and their service department. Update - they finally reached out and said it would be a discounted repair, not covered, despite it being their fault. read more

Just picked up my Travel trailer from Bish. It has been there since December for the "warranty Forever" inspection. During the inspection they found 2 items that needed attention 1) missing screw caps. 2). Worn (flat) springs. Covered by the warranty. Gave the ok to work these items 1/15. It would take maybe a week to compleat the job. I've been calling 3 times a week for status updates.. no answer or return calls! I showed up to pick it up on 3/21/26. Said all work compleat. But upon inspection, None was done! It's a SCAM!! They bill the warranty company and customer and not even attempting to do the work!.. I'm going to file with the BBB and warn the warranty company. 1st off, I NEVER write public reviews, good or bad, so let that be known beforehand. In this review, I am specifically referring to the Anderson, Indiana location. If I could give it zero stars, I would. They'll gladly sell you an RV, but what happens after the sale is an absolute joke. We purchased a 2nd brand new camper on 1/24/2026 after getting our original one replaced that was damaged on their service lot for warranty work. 1. The water pump was leaking and unfortunately, it took Corporate to get involved in order to get it shipped long after the virtual tech call, due to no action being taken by the Anderson Store. This is even after stating that I would replace it myself, which would cost the dealership even less money. It's literally about a $60 to $70 water pump. It finally shipped, thanks to John at Corporate RV Fix, who was extremely helpful. 2. The frame was rusty and the paint was also literally peeling off the rear bumper from day 1. It was an eye sore, so we spray painted the frame to make it look better, but the bumper needed more than just paint. It needs sanded, primed, and painted, but it was/is still simple enough to repair, so I asked them to simply send me a can of primer and spray paint or possibly just reimburse me for the supplies I needed to purchase and I would take care of it myself. Unfortunately, the Service Manager at the Anderson Store, Josh, denied the claim and I was told by RV Fix that Josh said rust was part of owning a camper. If it was a few years old, I would agree 100%, HOWEVER, it's a brand new camper and the paint was peeling off from the bumper from day one. The unbelievable part is that the denied claim only totals around $30 in actual money. I am doing the labor myself, and from the previous on-site discussion, if my memory is correct, I was told that warranty rate per hour is $150 instead of the normal $130 per hour, but Bish's wouldn't even be paying that out since I'm doing it myself. Yes, I'm just another unsatisfied customer, but if you look at the reviews, I'm one of a lot of bad reviews. And based on the multiple low ratings, this seems to be a pattern at the Anderson Store; not just on this site, but on Google as well. So potential Buyers beware. If you get a camper from this location, once you've made the purchase, be prepared to lose, get beyond frustrated, and never want to deal with the Anderson Store again. To Bish's Corporate, As a Business, the ultimate goal is to get repeat business, happy customers, and to establish recurring revenue, not a one and done and creating unsatisfied customers, correct? As a whole, it seems your rating is A+, but if you don't get this straightened out at your Anderson location, you'll keep losing people who will never step foot in that location again. Not just for sales, but especially the Service Department, which where you really make your money. So I'll ask, was that $30 denial really worth it? I'm just one of many, and this is an isolated issue, but there were other things I repaired and didn't even turn in as a claim. The frustration is simply not worth it. I've concluded it's pointless when you're dealing with some people, so this was just the final straw. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! This has been, without question, the worst purchasing experience of my life--and I wish I were exaggerating. Let me start by saying our salesman was great. He helped track down a specific used camper we had seen online and even walked us through other models to make sure we were confident in our choice. As first-time RV buyers, we felt like we were in good hands. During our time with him and during our walk-through before taking it home, we were told the black tank sensor was stuck at 1/3 full because of some "TP on the sensor," but assured it had been fully emptied and passed inspection. Spoiler: that was a lie! We took the camper out within two weeks. The very first thing my husband discovered? The black tank was full of someone else's waste--and still winterized. Once we took a shower, it started leaking inside and out. The next morning, we found a soft spot in the bathroom floor and suspected water damage. I called to report the issue... crickets. No one answered or called back. I had to physically go into the dealership just to get an appointment--two weeks out. Frustrated, I made a post in a Facebook group, and--shockingly--only then did a manager reach out, offering to "make it right." He had us bring the RV back in immediately and promised we'd hear back within the week. We didn't. Again, radio silence. After nearly two weeks of no contact, I went back in person and was told the camper was "good to go." I asked directly: any water damage? Mold? They said it had been thoroughly checked and everything was fine. Good thing I brought in a third-party inspector--because what he found was a soaking wet disaster: everything was SOAKING WET. So much for a thorough inspection, right?! At this point, I was furious. I have two small children, and I was assured this unit was safe. It absolutely was not! The same manager who'd gone quiet suddenly offered two options: (1) fix the camper "the right way" this time, or (2) trade it in for another one. As if I had any reason left to trust them! I refused both and demanded they cancel the loan and take the camper back. First, I was told that "wasn't a thing." But after I refused to leave without speaking to someone higher, they brought out the regional VP (who just happened to be visiting). He was kind, professional, and told me they'd cancel the loan and make it right. He also asked me not to leave a review--wonder why? That was a Tuesday, fast forward to the following Monday and guess what? Nothing had been even started! The loan still existed. I called and reminded them the first payment was due in 8 business days, and was reassured--again--that everything would be fine. It wasn't!! With one business day left before the payment was due, I was finally told the loan had been canceled and it would update within 24 hours. But the bank? They had no record. My husband called again the following Monday, and still nothing. I followed up with the sales manager, who basically shrugged and said, "The bank must not have access to that info yet." At that point, I'd had enough and called corporate. And finally, someone competent took care of the issue within days. Oh, and the cherry on top? The camper I returned was back on their lot--and listed for sale on their website--before my loan had even been canceled. So if you're into: * Campers that come pre-filled with someone else's sewage * "Inspections" that may or may not actually happen * A team that verbatim "cranks out 100% a month" while short-staffed (quantity over quality right?) * Ghosting their own customers until public social media posts force their hand * And the absolute worst communication and follow-through I've ever encountered Then by all means--Bish's RV of Anderson is the place for you. read more

We took a camper in for yearly maintenance check for warranty and 1 repair. Was told it would be ready by 19 of November told them we were leaving for winter and needed it back asap. No updates from them, no call or camper on 19. Called, was told part, a switch, just came in and camper would possibly be ready today or tomorrow. This is a large company. Will not be doing business with them again read more

Bought a new RV this last spring from Bish in Anderson In. I was told to schedule my free winterization months ahead because they get busy. So I did 4 months ago. So I take it in to there service dept. On the day scheduled, it has been 7 days and when I finally get someone to call me back they said it will take another 6 days to get it in to do a 30 minute winterization. Buying was easy, serving not so much. Can never get through, and they are very slow to respond to msgs. They do not stand behind there product. We had 1300 miles on our camper.hub Bearings smoked and destroyed drum. We had to find a place to have fixed, bish rv service was useless. We paid. But Bish said we had to contact the manufacturer of the axles to put in a claim. But they would enter a claim as third party for a fee...WTH!!! Anyway 1.5 years after we bought it we are screwed out of repairs and refund of our camp site we couldn't use.! BS. read more

Bought this camper from the Boat Sport and Travel Show in Indy this year. Our salesperson was awesome but was from another store. She was great! BUT......we had an incident with rain and our awning while camping 3 weeks ago. The pin for the roller bar broke and bent the right side/motor side bar and so we could not roll the awning back up. I called the RV Fix place and had to leave a message the next morning about 9AM. NO BODY called me back. On Monday, I called the Anderson store, where we picked up and signed papers in April. I called and had to leave a message at 9:30 and at 10:30 and called at 11:30 and spoke with a salesperson who said that they would have someone call me back. NO BODY called me back. I finally gave up and called somewhere else and they got us in that same day. I am very upset that I was treated like just another purchase and not someone that was a "valued customer" or "VIP "as they tried to indicate when we picked up the camper back in April. Very poor customer service or no service in general. I removed all of the advertising for them from my camper and will not be going back for anything. The main office should investigate this store for service issues. read more

My husband and I drove from Michigan to buy a trailer from Bish's as the model we were interested in was available there and on a Labor Day sale. Our salesman, Shane, was knowledgeable and pleasant. The sale went smoothly and without issue. No pressure to buy was applied. When we picked up the trailer a couple of weeks later, we literally got "red carpet" treatment as a technician, Richard, walked us through every aspect of our new trailer. Were do I start!! Made the deal for purchase about 2 weeks from pick up. Camper had to go to service for some repairs to the roof. ( NOT disclosed before deposit was made) Stopped by a couple of days later to check on progress and was told to basically not to worry and that everything would be fine by pickup day. (Saturday 8/16) . Was contacted on 8/13 to change p/u date. Couldn't do it. So I Arrived Sat at 0920 and NOTHING was ready. Walk through of camper was OK but found they didn't clean the unit, left previous owners stuff inside including T/P, silverware and dump station cubes and didn't clean the awning. There were no keys for the unit but I did find them in with the owners manual. They were supposed to throw in a starter kit and that wasn't in the unit nor was a paper plate. After walk through I had to wait for over an hour to start signing the documents. Had to approach them to get that process started. Finally got that started and again asked about the repairs and was told they would have a tech come and talk to me. ( Never seen them ) Was Finaly told about the repairs by a front desk person. Had to wait another 45 or so minutes to finally get the plate printed and had absolutely no help hooking up the unit. Was basically told " Sorry,it's Saturday and we're awfully busy " I had an appointment with them and you would think they would've had Everything ready to go!! Oh, and they also forgot to collect my down payment!! At least I am a good person and brought that to their attention. ( no thank you or omg's or anything like that ) I was able to get the starter kit but felt like s..t asking for it. IDK, just felt like I didn't mean anything to them at all. The service department is very unprofessional and will try to overcharge you. I asked for a quote for a small part. After over a week and 3 phone calls, I was quoted over $100 for a hubcap for a travel trailer. One phone call to the parts department at another dealership in New Caste, and they ordered the same part for $17. Completely inexcusable. read more

I've had incredibly poor attention, service and communication from your Bish's location. I've been trying since April to get my brand new trailer's toilet repaired. the video chat and service diagnosis process was great, but it took until today to receive the part that I need for repair. I've followed up with phone calls multiple times and been given excuses and runaround. This isn't some special order piece... when I finally got it I realized this is a $25 part I could have ordered from Amazon myself if I'd known what was needed. My call this week following up again on the part really topped it off for me. I called and spoke to someone and asked for a manager (you know, since it's been months now waiting). He transferred me to someone's VM, but the phone system alerted me that it was an inactive employee. So I had to call back (apparently who he transferred me to is active but their Vm isn't set up... really bad look). This time someone sent a message to manager Aaron and transferred me to his VM. Instead of receiving a call back from Aaron to discuss my issue, he had the original desk person call me back. I don't care how busy Aaron is, a customer wanting to speak with a manager about an ongoing problem should absolutely be called by the manager. You know what really gets me angry? When I originally called service and talked to someone over the phone who diagnosed the problem in a video chat, he recommended that Bish's send the part to my house so I could install myself. He suggested this because back in April apparently I couldn't get a service appointment until Sept for this simple repair. Well here we are almost in Sept and I just received the part. My trailer is new, all this should be covered under warranty, and now I'm going to try installing a part that they think will fix the issue. This part better work. It also better be as easy to install as the service person indicated. read more

Purchased a new travel trailer the last day modern trailers was in business. Have a leak in the new trailer, it's been over 6 days and numerous contact attempts and no one has contacted me back about getting this warranty issue fixed. i would recommend going somewhere else that will honor their warranty and actually reach out to you in a timely manner. read more

We loved Modern Trailer, but we don't have much good to say about Bish's not that it has purchased modern. First, we had to wait 10 days to have a phone visit with someone from Idaho. That person was nice, but he had to call the dealer in Anderson for us. He called back to say that Bish's would not cover any of the repairs needed on our one-year-old camper, a camper that we have treated well and that has a life-time warranty. The dealer didn't even offer to give us a price on what needed to be done or schedule us for any repairs. The only way that we can talk to Bish's is to drive the hour to their site, and then they cannot do anything for us. This is not at all like it was with Modern. We are very disappointed. read more

Little info on Modern Trailer Sales (Anderson, Indiana) being purchased by Bish's RV. Warranty Forever used to cost $169/yr. Now it's $199/yr. Bish's does not offer the Warranty Forever on new purchases. We actually looked at new 5th Wheel's today, considering upgrading from our 2019 Forest River Vibe 26RK to the FR Impression 270RK - not a single salesperson seemed interested in helping us, even though there are signs throughout about "grand opening", "we want your trade in", and "huge offers for trade ins". Three different sales people walked past us, only one bothered to speak - to tell us that they didn't do sales, just paperwork. Add to that...they charged us an additional $75 for "scrim tape" to (re)repair a previous underbelly repair that was completed, BY THEM, incorrectly - and that repair had been covered by warranty. Folks, the new owners obviously don't want our business, nor do they deserve our business. read more

DO NOT TRUST BISHS ANDERSON INDIANA FOR SERVICE, I recently took my 2023 fifth wheel in to bishs for a roof inspection. While it was there I had them to repack the wheel bearings. The service writer called and said I had some " nail pops on the roof" he quoted 1 hour labor plus materials. I said do it if it needs to be done. We'll fast forward he calls and said it's ready to go. I paid the bill of over $1100.00 went to hook to my trailer NO BRAKES . That peaked my curiosity so I got on the roof no signs of new sealant. So they said leave it we will get it taken care of. So in the days waiting for it to be done my wife calls someone in management at bishs anderson indiana he says I will get to the bottom of this and give you a call back ( still waiting on the call) so being extremely pi**** off I called bish fix and explained the situation, they said they would escalate it to their manager and he will call me back that day (still waiting) so that evening I found a number for bishs customer care department again I explained the situation he said I will call anderson and find out what is going on and call you tomorrow (still waiting) so picked up the trailer yesterday it has very little brakes, they did put sealant on the roof, it looks like it was done by a kindergarten kid. Chrome caps on half the lug nuts are missing, greasy hand prints all over the side if the trailer. Spent half a day washing the trailer to get the grease off it. After all this I am questioning weather they even repacked the wheel bearings. Now I'm going to get an independent technician to check the wheel bearings and reseal the roof so needless to say I wasted $1100.00. I'm not the type of person to leave reviews but I'm just trying to help the next person from getting sc***** by them read more
