Biscuits and Bath has been nothing short of amazing! From the very beginning, while I was just exploring daycare options, David was incredibly responsive and informative. He quickly hopped on a call, and that's when I knew this was the right fit. I was looking for a smooth transition for my boss's English Bulldog puppy--she had 24/7 care, and I wanted her to be around other dogs, socialize, and receive proper training. Bulldogs can be challenging, but David M. made everything possible. With my boss's busy schedule, having full support from Biscuits and Bath has been invaluable. They handle everything--vet services, grooming, walking, and even their convenient shuttle service for pick-up and drop-off. We started at the Park Ave location since it was close by, but two days a week she went to the Yorkville location, which has more space and larger dogs. Eventually, we fully transitioned to Yorkville, and the puppy couldn't be happier. She loves EVERYONE there! The trainers and staff are caring, professional, and genuinely loving--Ashley, in particular, is the sweetest! What I appreciate most is that no issue is too big for this team. David always finds solutions, even when the puppy is out of state or traveling. His care and commitment go above and beyond. If I could give them 1,000 stars, I would. Biscuits and Bath is more than a daycare--they're true partners in raising and caring for your pup.

    Chewed harness while in distress

Had a terrible experience on my last pet overnight stay. My dog Bella Rose, had bitten her way through her canvas harness. She actually chewed it on both sides until she was able to completely remove it. This is not an easy feat, it's a leather and canvas harness. How did this happen. How long she must have been in distress to do this? They are not to be put in the overnight crate with it on. It is only for walking. What actually happened they refused to say. Beware for your overnight needs.

I wasn't going to write a negative review, but your groomer earned it. Although I took my dog multiple times without an issue, I moved out of the city due to COVID and recently moved back. One of the reasons I chose my apartment was how close to B&B it is, which is something my partner and I were very excited about. We would use their grooming services, overnight, and vet services. This Saturday, we took our dog to get groomed as it was needed. Unfortunately, the groomer completely botched his haircut. She did not know how to groom a corgi, nor did she reach out to another groomer for advice on how to groom a corgi. If you weren't sure what you were doing, you have been honest with yourself and should never have touched my dog. Sanitary cuts are different on corgis. This groomer cut upwards into the actual coat on my dog and neglected even to say anything. Did you think that you were going to be able to hide it from me when I noticed it and think that I wouldn't complain? A good groomer knows never to touch a corgis SIDE with a razor unless asked to by the owner, and it's the dead of winter, so any owner would be out of their mind to ask such a thing. If I were a groomer, I would be ashamed to send back a dog to their owners looking like my dog does. It's atrocious. My dog had razor burn and two knicked nipples and didn't alert the vets on-site like she was supposed to. It brought me to tears to notice that this experience traumatized my poor dog. When I complained, they apologized and gave me a complimentary vet check-in. But, unfortunately, nothing your business can do will ever be able to make up for this experience. It was $150 down the drain on your groomer that she doesn't deserve. This is disgraceful. Feel free to refund the amount but not like it will bring back my dog's hair. So many chances to prevent an issue, but you did none of them. B&B will fix a problem with the grooming, but you can't replace the hair your careless groomer shaved off. Thanks to your inexperienced groomer with zero communication and accountability skills, I'm now looking into other services for my dog.

They did a grooming to my dog and cut her leg they did stitches after I'm so mad and disappointed !!! Never go there

The first and last time I will ever go to Biscuits & Baths for ANYTHING. I have 2 toy poodles that needed grooming. On the day of the grooming I needed to be able to pick them up late. I was told that I could do that at this location. The price of grooming was higher than what I was used to spending, but I was told that my second dog would be given 40% off on the grooming and if I boarded them overnight I would also receive 40% off. Great!! I told the groomer that one of the dogs had pom poms and I liked those, and the rest was just a regular poodle cut and I would pick them up the next day. The next day I called before I picked them up to ask how much the exact bill was. I was told it was over $600. WHAT?????? I knew that couldn't be right. I was told there were late fees and everything would be explained. I went in to get them and spoke to someone I met for the first time. She was not one of the people who checked my dogs in or gave me pricing. She NOW insisted that they never give 40% off on grooming or boarding. I explained that was not what I was told. The rudeness, the arrogance, and the insolence that followed was unbelievable. She actually called the police and they came. In addition, I always leave tips for the people working on the dogs. When the dogs came out, the one that had such cute pom poms were gone! I reduced the tip, but it was still quite adequate. Because I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could I didn't really examine them as well as I should have. No one did their feet face or tail! They charged me for a grooming and they did NOTHING but take off my little dog's pom poms that I asked her to leave on! See the photos for yourself. Even though I refused to pay the amount they were asking the woman charged my card without my permission. $457.19. Have you ever heard of such a thing? In addition, they hadn't done the work they told me they would do!! Poodles are supposed to come out of a grooming looking like poodles. The photos say it all! When a company allows people to be treated like this, it means they have condoned it, and at the top level they are responsible for their staff's behavior. IT ALWAYS COMES DOWN FROM THE TOP! I will NEVER COME BACK. Julie T.

So done. Molly has…read morebeen getting groomed by Laura for eight years. She's an excellent groomer, but she is not great at running her business. Molly has had standing appointments every month, but they're not always followed up, and sometimes, I don't even know when her appointments are. I had expressed my concerns with Laura in the past. Last month, I was supposed to go away on vacation. We had already booked Molly's appointment before my vacation, so I wasn't concerned about it. I asked her for a status update on the day of, and she told me that she had moved her appointment date, and "sorry I didn't update." She didn't even ASK ME if this schedule change was okay to begin with! What the hell? Who is she to just move things around without asking me? When I expressed my frustration at the time, she gave me a very curt/dismissive reply. I called her out on it, then she blamed texting as the reason why it came off that way. Then guess what: work on your texting/communication skills, if that's the way you choose to communicate with your clients. Not to mention that whoever is helping her run the business side of things (Tammy) has been super rude. She even tried to get me to RETROACTIVELY sign a fuel surcharge document for the prior month, when this had never been discussed with me. All of her responses (via text) are super curt, dismissive, and rude. That air of superiority does not work for me. All of the negative reviews about the customer service are accurate. Things were so bad at that time that I texted Laura and said that while I've appreciated everything she had done for Molly, we were going to have to part ways. She and I discussed it, and I was convinced to stay with her. She told me about what she had been struggling with, and I was compassionate to her situation. Things got better for a bit, but not for long. That's the key issue with this place: there is a lack of consistency. Things look "better" for a bit and then drop back into the abyss. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. Her truck needed servicing. I understand that those types of things are not predictable. Of course I would be understanding of this, but each month comes with some sort of issue. It's hard to consider this a "one off" when it happens more frequently than not. I expressed my frustration and she said she's apologized in the past. I told her that this is causing me anxiety each month. Getting my dog groomed, when her schedule is already booked, should not be this stressful. Her reply: "It is unfortunate that you feel that way. The only anxiety I had today was that I could get my truck repaired in time to not let my people down, and that it wasn't a giant bill. It is my hope that you feel better." It was clear from her response that she has no empathy for others, despite being someone who's used her own mental health issues as an excuse for her past transgressions. "The only anxiety that I had today..." part basically makes it seem like she's diminishing my feelings about being dismissed nearly on a MONTHLY BASIS. So apparently, it's only about herself. By her saying "it is unfortunate that you feel that way," it was clear that this is over and that this is completely irreparable. She takes zero ownership and had no insight into the fact that it's not just about today -- everything is additive and I have not seen things go smoothly for a long time. Apologies can only go so far. She also told me: "I agree that it would be nice if things always ran smoothly all the time, but sometimes we just have to roll with it." There's been a lot of back and forth for many years, a lot of schedule changes, a lot of Molly getting dropped from the schedule, lack of communication, etc. I had been loyal through all of it. I've BEEN rolling with it. Yes, of course it would be nice of your clients to be flexible from time to time... but it shouldn't be all the time. The tone of that also feels like she's asking ME to shoulder HER burden. Unfortunately, it is just time to part ways. They seem to charge a missed appointment fee if cancelling less than 48 hours in advance, and whole amount for no call, no show. Apparently, respect or this policy isn't a two way street. If you notice from other reviews, she's lost several loyal clients due to rudeness and lack of reliability. One of the other reviews says that they cancelled him 30 minutes prior to the appointment, using COVID as an excuse - and one of the groomers gave him a snarky reply: "I'm sorry this how you are reacting due to being rescheduled during a National crisis." It's these types of unwarranted, inappropriate, snarky remarks that I've gotten so used to from some of their people. This is clearly the norm of how they speak to people, which it shouldn't be. Perhaps she should spend more time on her business and less on her chickens.

Can't believe I have yet to review this wonderful business…read more Laura has been grooming my shih tzu Cooper every month for the last 6 or 7 years. We have used her when we lived in flatiron, Brooklyn heights and now park slope. She does an incredible job every time and is super knowledgeable about pet health and well being. Cooper has always had skin allergies and she often offers great resources and ideas. I initially switched to Laura from a store front groomer because I hated how crowded and chaotic the place would get. With hair of dog, your pooch gets one on one attention and is well taken care of. Especially great option for anxious dogs. The convenience of the groomer coming to you was an added bonus that I can never turn back from. Also love that Cooper always leaves with a cute new toy!
