This review is purely for the mural on the back of the store. I have seen it popping up on my facebook and instagram feed. If you are looking to visit it with the least amount of cars then Sunday is your day. The store is closed on Sundays so the whole lot is empty. If you want there is street parking available so you can have the whole lot for your selfies. The mural is beautiful. It's simple, looks like paint was just dripped from the roof, but it provides a wonderful backdrop. The store itself is open the rest of the week and has some nice furniture. They have their own private lot, which is rare for the Montrose area.

Being from Miami I've grown into a mural snob. I blame Wynwood and it's amazing artists & walls. With that said, this wall is cute, colorful, and a perfect photo op! But it's really not worth a detour or a drive unless you reeeally want a picture here. We went inside to check out the store and it's adorably quaint! They have children products as well as home decor that are both pattern filled and unique. The staff was also incredibly friendly and let us walk in with our dog. There were plenty of items I considered purchasing - however, I felt it all was heavily overpriced. A cute cactus patterned children's pajama was $62! Next trip to Houston, I'll pass. I don't think you're missing out if you don't visit the Biscuit Paint Wall.

Located right on Westheimer. On the corner of Westheimer and Mulberry. 1435 Westheimer Rd.

Cool spot in Houston to see! Very popular. Several visitors and local Houstonians stop by the wall to take pictures of it and in front of it. WHY IS THIS HERE: This wall is a part of the Biscuit Home Store. The owner had one wall of the store painted by French-born Houston artist Sebastien Boileau aka Mr. D....which makes this wall even more dope. Houston art by Houston artists. One of the reasons I love Montrose! OK SO WHERE IS IT: This is located in Montrose. It's on the corner of Westheimer and Mulberry. There's lots of cool restaurants and bars in the Montrose area, so after taking pics, go grab a drink or a bite to eat.

I honestly just came to take a pic, didn't even know this was a store (either way it was closed). I thought the backdrop was beautiful, and the parking was just in the lot.

    The children's section is extraordinary!

Bad service. Bad staff, they make you feel like you're not wanted. I would just go to home goods or TJ max .

Extremely rude and uptight people working there. I wouldn't waste my time ever going back and dealing with them again.

Pricing for the museum is $24. There are several garages in the area to park at and parking is charged a hourly rate. Unfortunately I was short on time but was able to visit the Frida collection, Aztec civilization, and Islamic Art collections. All of the art work was unique. The Frida collection was extremely popular and that's where most of the museums visitors spent their time. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here and wish I had more time to explore. They do have several dining options at the museum including a Michelin star French restaurant, Le Jardinier. The menu looks great and looks like they had a lunch 2 course option there for $45.

Whether you're into art, history, or just looking for something fun to do, this is definitely a great way to spend a Thursday. Highly recommend checking it out!
