The planning began by Mother of Cashew for a fun filled Saturday the weekend before school starts. We left Garland Square after a ceremony to pray for our students and staff before the start of school. The 40 minute journey began to Frisco. Mother of Cashew had set us up for breakfast at this restaurant. It's located in a highly trafficked area with different businesses. There is plenty of parking yet be careful if you have kids due to all the cars. We walked in and there you have to wait to be seated. It can be observed that it's a popular restaurant. Our host sat us in a awkward section of restaurant due to the baby seat being in the way of people and server. My Gremlins were hungry. The 2 Gremlins got Nutella crepes, oh Great plates of sugar, Cashew and Mother of Cashew had traditional eggs and pancakes. I had the skillet. Our server took a long time to take our order which was troubling but food arrived. The crepes were heavy texture not light and soft. The eggs and pancakes were good according to Mother of Cashew. Look fat guys like me are fat because we enjoy taste and when you are gonna drop good money you expect flavor. The meat lovers skillet was average and eggs hard when asked for over easy. Our server brought regular pancakes instead of pecan banana pancakes. It's a nice looking place but the time delay and average taste made it an average place for me especially at $57 plus time. Had a great time at this breakfast / brunch spot. Staff was great and I even had my littles with me. Ages 3 and 7 and they enjoyed themselves as well. Food came out quickly and was delicious! My best friend and I went here on morning around 8. We were seated immediately by a gentleman who was both the host and our waiter. My best friend ordered eggs and sausage and I ordered one of the skillets. The waiter checked on us from time to time, which was nice but didn't feel like he was intruding during our meal. So... I give this place 5 stars for service/attentiveness and 2 stars for food. The skillet was good, but the presentation was messy. I did like that it was a good size portion, but it also didn't taste like much. I also tried a biscuit. You would think a place called 'Biscuit' would have great biscuits, right?... WRONG. The short of it: service was slow, food is MAYBE BARELY average. If you just want something to go in your belly, this is the place. If your looking for a great Brunch I would try anywhere else. The folks next to us hadn't been served either and they were here longer than us. Manager came by and asked them how was everything and they told them they had not been helped yet. Two servers came by quickly after. We ordered two of The Breakfast Hash with apple cinnamon pancake and the other with Banana Pecan pancakes. Awful. Literally looked liked canned apples the pancakes were super thin and they were just not appealing. We asked them for regular pancakes and sent those back. The plain pancakes were better, but I think they may use pancakes out of a box, they taste like freezer section pancakes. The hash lacked potatoes, and overall just was bland. Was one of our fav breakfast spots. Well looks like we will be crossing it off the list. The staff is no longer trained and the restaurant is not clean. We got the wrong order twice. My wife touched her food to see if it was correct and it wasn't so we told the server and he picked up the plate and dropped it off at the correct table. This is a huge no no. That order should have been re fired and never given to anyone else. The food quality has gone down as well. The fruit was pale and sad. No color. Looked like it was out of a can and sat in the heat window. Staff just hanging around and just not very professional looking. I'll start off with saying the food is very good and the price is great. Unfortunately those two very important things lose value when the service is terrible and unorganized. This review is based on the second chance me and my family gave this restaurant within the last month. The first visit, it took forever, FOREEEEVVVVVEEERRRR to get our food. Food came out sort of warm but we were all starving and didn't want to wait for our food to be microwaved. Our waiter, Ozi, kept forgetting to bring things that came with our order, forgetting to refill coffee, and then mized up our check with the table next to us and didn't realize until after they left. Then after we finally got our check, I didn't see my card again for 35 min or longer. I had to ask the manager that I saw holding my card while he sat several table if I could have my card back. I still hadn't been charged so I had to wait longer to finally pay. My co-worker that happened to be eating there at the same time was at a different table and told me that she had a very terrible experience as well and she wouldn't be returning. I decided after a few weeks, I'd give this place another chance. We went around 10:30 on 03/03/2019. Different server, different problem. This time we had to wait roughly 15-20 minutes after being seated to order drinks. We ordered at the same time we ordered coffee so we didn't have to wait even longer to order our food. The server did great refilling our coffee but again, our food took FOREVEEEEERRR to come out. Again, our food was warm at best as it was most likely sitting there for quite some time. I ordered a skillet and I could immediately grab the skillet because it had cooled that much. They forgot my 5 year old sons breakfast and when we told the food runner about it they brought out his eggs sunny side up instead of scrambled as ordered. I really wish this place had there stuff together and served their food hot. There was no compensation or apology from the manager during either visit. I'm assuming the rating they have is based on flavor of the food. The food is good. The service is what gets this place a 1 star. If you don't mind cold food and waiting a very long, LONG, time for your food then come here. If you want better service and hot food, go anywhere else. read more

I wanted to give this place a try since it has really good reviews. We sat in the patio area, let's just say it was really hot and we started sweating. Maybe try putting some fans up because it was very hot and I wasn't a huge fan of the clear drapes they had. We had an issue with my food, I told the waitress the right away the manager came over and just went ahead and redid my whole order for me. Josh was the manager and he was honestly super nice and he was quick about any customer issues. Thank you Josh, you're great! My wife and I decided to take her cousin there for breakfast rather than cooking at home. We had seen the restaurant on several occasions and wondered just how good it was. In short, it was great. Although it was a crowded Saturday morning, we were seated in the enclosed patio area quickly. The temperature of the room was perfect--unlike a number of places that offer "deep freeze" temperatures for your dining pleasure. The food arrived quickly and was lumberjack-sized and tasty, although I found the pancakes to be somewhat so-so. Honestly, I've had better breakfasts in many diners--although I don't ever recall having a breakfast with portions as large. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Big serving! I did not finish. Could not. Had a miscommunication on the crepe order, so they brought out the crepes (server thought she had ordered Classic Breakfast, which is real popular, and not Classic Crepes). Passed by this place while they were under construction so I was curious to try it out when I noticed they opened. I stopped in with my mom and sister and they were packed but no wait which was nice. I stuck with my usual avocado toast and was not let down. My mom tried an omelet which she was visibly really happy with- and that doesn't happen often. Her meal came with a side of what they call Beer Biscuits. Omg... when I tell you I was BLOWN AWAY... I've never had biscuits like that before. I ordered my own plate so we wouldn't have to share. My sister eats gluten-free so was so happy to see she could order GF French toast! The atmosphere was inviting and beautifully decorated and our server was so sweet. Great breakfast, very poor front of house management. Every time we've ordered take out they've forgotten something. First two orders, forgot the cappuccino, but fixed it as we waited. Next order, was over an hour and a half late, after being told to wait an 15 extra minutes, and they forgot our beer biscuits. The kitchen was killing it that day but the front of house was so disorganized that they were backing them up and causing severe delays. Today we gave it one more try, they gave my wife the wrong cappuccino and it wasn't a cappuccino, they did provide the missing biscuits from our last order, but forgot to give us butter and syrup for our pancakes - such a simple small thing to miss but totally unable to enjoy pancakes without it, right? What a great place! First time here. Went for Sunday brunch, was told it would be a 15 minute wait but we were escorted to our table after 5 minutes. Our waitress arrived promptly and took our order. She was a little nervous because she was new, but she did an overall great job serving us. Husband and I both ordered Huevos Rancheros and coffee. Coffee was good and strong. We probably could have split the Huevos Rancheros, but they were delicious and the black beans that came with it were very tasty. The manager stopped by our table and asked us if we would like to try their salsa with our meal and we agreed to try it. DELICIOUS! The biscuits were sweet and the gravy was delicious. This restaurant is going to be my go-to breakfast spot. The interior decorations were very cool and the patio was so nice.
