Laura Barcellos, manager, set up the whole event for us and left no stone unturned. When we arrived my daughter was so excited and surprised because she had no idea. Her personal stylists Nik & Katrina who Laura appointed took time to curate several looks for her to shop based upon her style that they were able to capture from her social media. There were shoes, accessories, the whole nine. Oh and there was champagne! Lol. The music playing in the space was my daughters, since she is an artist. That was such a cute touch as well. Thanks Laura! The ladies from Dior cosmetics came up and gave mini facials as well as did my daughter's makeup. We were able to shop various brands and just enjoy the afternoon in such a luxe space. Nik and Katrina were such a vibe and so helpful. They know fashion! We shopped and all of the girls left with a gift bag compliments of Dior with a few purse sized fragrances. Super thoughtful. Everything exceeded our expectations. I highly suggest that you gift this experience to someone special in your life. Thank you all again sooooo so much! We're still talking about it. And special thanks to Laura for making it happen.

Unprofessional customer service!! I won't buy from this store again!…read more I used to live across the street from the mall and always saw their beautiful pieces and wanted to own something. I tried few items but I didn't like how they got wrinkled right away, just from trying it. Unless you move, everything looks great on. My first and last purchase was a hat that I payed over $1,000 for. I told the sells representative that I would like to buy the hat but the only one they had in the store was full of makeup marks, was wrinkled and the headband looked like it felt off and someone sew it back in an unprofessional way. The sells rep assured me she could order a brand new one from Italy. When I received the hat, I had a huge "surprise" ... it was the same exact one from the store. I could recognize it as I am very attentive to details. Wow! I find this very unprofessional and disrespectful quite frankly. I don't see this other than an intentional "mistake" or stupidity on their part. I immediately called the store, it was on a Friday, and some girl that works there answered. I was explaining the situation and, while I was still talking, she stops me and asks me if she can call back on Monday because it was her birthday that weekend and she was going to celebrate. She also gave me her mobile and asked me to text her and explain the situation. What???? I never heard of anything like that. I was very busy so I didn't feel like calling back or fighting over this dumb answer. I did send her detailed pictures, where I circled all the issues I found with the hat. Then, I waited for her to call me on Monday, she never did. I reached out again and she finally responds with: "I am working on it!" Well, I never heard from her again. After getting what I consider a very expensive hat, from a high-end brand, this is what I get?? Never buying from here again and I will make sure to let everyone know my experience with this boutique. Buy something and don't expect to be accommodated if you may encounter any issues with your purchase. No refunds offered. After this experience, I feel like I was robbed for $1,000 and received an item I don't want and didn't wanted from the beginning.

If the dress didn't fit, I would be thousands of miles away and have no way for them to fix it. So I called and asked them to please cancel the purchase. They said they could only give me a store credit -- that there computer didn't have the ability to give refunds. I explained that since there are no stores in my part of the country and the company doesn't sell online, there was no way for me to use a credit. And I pointed out that nobody told me the return policy (nor was it posted anywhere visible in the store). I am currently contesting the purchase with my credit card company as I don't even have the dress!! Shop anywhere but here!!

They've shown me they appreciate my purchases and value my future business. When I visited the store at Bal Harbour, I did not anticipate being treated any differently. Had I known this store practices a level of malignant elitist snobbery on par with an Arabian dictator, I would not have entered. My husband and I were visiting a friend in Coral Gables, and our visit corresponded with an intense time for her preparing to take the Bar exam. So to give her breaks in entertaining, to allow study time, we made little trips out shopping. One such trip was to the Bal Harbour shops, specifically to visit Tod's for a pair of loafers. Perhaps the pay-to-enter, gated, guarded mall entry was our first clue? I did not realize that luxury shopping was a privilege I needed to pay for? Considering the fact that luxury shopping involves spending copious sums of money, one would think the parking (like parking for any other kind of shopping) would be gratis. No. I am at a loss to understand this. I have had many posh shopping experiences in Paris, London, Biarritz, Tahiti, St. Barths, Florence, NYC, La Jolla, Naples, Dallas, etc. and never have I had to pay to self-serve park in a tiered garage. Is there a high crime rate in this area that requires such restrictive nonesense? Or are the local residents just that snobby? Either way it is an incarcerating feeling to have such a controlled atmosphere. And it feels extremely shyster-y of this place to invent such a nickel-and-dimey experience. The off-putting experience did not stop there. Tod's did their best to live up to the "GET OUT WE HATE YOU" vibe going on at Bal Harbour. There was some Paris Hilton type in the latest-greatest section at the front of the store. ("Paris Hilton" is not a compliment, it's a dirty word.) The only associate there was buzzing around her, ready to drop at her feet. Who knows what the back-story on this nonsense was, but why I needed to be affected by it as a customer is ridiculous. The associate left her a moment to ask me "Can I help you?" and was hassled by my outrageous request to purchase a pair of ladies loafers. I got the feeling that if I'd been the only customer, he'd have gladly behaved decently, but with a prospective larger commission in the room, who was fussing like a baby the minute she wasn't being coddled, he just could not handle the pressure. Because "Paris" was getting restless (along with the dirty old dude with her), the associate made a pained show of rushing my purchase along ("You don't need to try them on, do you?"), not thanking me for the $300 sale, and refusing to condescend to eye-contact the whole time he took my money. Instead he made "I know, right?" looks at the messy excuse for a human soul, who was tossing bleached hair all over the place. Then he left the desk, while I was still collecting my things, so he could go dance for a crumb from "Paris" (just like the middle-schooler on the fringe of the cool group, hoping to get in). I always find it ironic when retail clerks get uppity. On a different day (had I not wasted time in an unfamiliar city to find the place, or had to pay to park there), I'd have left without buying anything. In retrospect, those are stronger reasons for why I should have. When I shop with Tods elsewhere, I am treated with professionalism. I emailed Tod's directly through the website about this experience, including information from my receipt to provide details about the associate who "helped" me, and never received a reply. Wretched attitude, Tod's.
