Roaming through the neighborhood, Benji grabs my hand and says, "Come on, we're going to Bisazza. It's a tile store."
Me: O..k... (thinking... WHY are we going to a tile store???)
We enter Bisazza, and suddenly we left New York City and entered a scene in a fairy tale.
The elaborate designs of Bisazza are simply incredible. Each mini room will bring on a different emotion - from fun and whimsical, to introspective, to dark and sensuous. Even the ceilings are covered in black tile, reflecting just the right amount of like to make each room shine. The walls of each room ar curved, so you feel like you're walking through a maze of colorful walls. Some have floral designs, some are more Victorian style, some are striped... The gold tiles are actually 24K, making for an exquisite and expensive installation.
The chandelier displays are quite extravagant as well - more like art pieces. If I could afford a room covered with Bisazza tiles, I would do it in a heart beat, but that would mean instant ramen noodles every day until I turn 120.
