Later, when I thought I either overheated and ruined the fan motor or the fan motor was defective they walked me through the options for testing the motor and started the warranty process just in case the motor was defective. Because the fan is on a high roof and difficult to get to I went ahead and bought a new start capacitor and a new motor to only send the repair person up there once.. As it turned out, the motor was fine. The fan was turning very slowly because a paper towel got sucked up the flue and was dragging on the fan slowing the motor way down. YAY, I did not need the new motor. Volco was great. I was allowed to ship back the expensive motor for a refund and received the refund very promptly. Capacitors, of course, are never refundable. The fan works great and keeps my covered and mostly enclosed patio smoke free. I will never deal with any other company for high temperature exhaust fans and fan parts. THANKS VOLKO!!!!

Through such a daunting (and expensive) process, Georgia really made it fun. She took the stress away, let us guide her with what we wanted, but also shared her thoughts as the design expert. So respectful, very personable, and just wanted to help us. In the end, we did not move forward with The Tile Shop but it had nothing to do with the service. The price points just didn't work for us but if I ever have a larger budget, she is the first person I'm coming to.

I've seen advertisement for 5-6 ft or 6-7 ft and the quality/fullness of the trees seem to varies on the landscapers. This season was also apparently tough on inventory and some of the landscapers I spoke with had trouble getting the trees at the right height we wanted. (I know construction supplies are low too, we've been looking into other home reno projects) Jack was very responsive from the beginning when I first reached out and when I asked, sent me photos, video and even face timed me to show me examples of the trees I would be getting. His brother also paid an in person visit and chatted with my neighbor and I about what they can do and the location for planting. I spoke with a few other landscapers but ultimately went with J&R because they were responsive, straightforward and the price was competitive! The trees ended up looking great, fat and tall and gave me instant privacy!!

Lowe's Home Improvement in Garden City, NY has a huge parking lot and I went straight to the paint section to browse at all the different hues and color chips. I selected upward and filmy green from the Scandinavian minimalism color collection. The staff member was friendly and mixed the cans of paint with the specific color chips. The whole process was smooth and flawless. If you need other supplies for your project -- primer, painters tape, brushes and more -- Lowe's Home Improvement has got those too. Another time I came back to Lowe's Home Improvement in Garden City, NY to purchase a light bulb and to make a copy of a mailbox key. I asked a staff member for assistance. He put my mailbox key into the Minute Key machine and it told the staff member which key blank he would need to use to copy it. The whole process was quick and seamless. The cost of the key copy was $4.98. The Utilitech 40-Watt Dimmable LED General purpose Light Bulb 2 -Pack was $7.18.
