Since she runs the place by appointment only, I first called then emailed with more details of the space I was trying to fill and what I was looking for. After some back and forth, I made an appointment to stop by, look at specific varieties, and pick out some plants. The day of, she went through the different families of lavender and helped me narrow down to a specific variety, looking at the dried cuttings from last year as well as plants in her garden. She also had plenty of other hardier medicinal plants available including multiple types of mints, thymes, rosemaries, and other herbs. All the plants are very reasonable priced and I couldn't be happier with my experience. It's very clear that Chris has a passion for her plants.

I can't make a decision on what's going in my garden unless I see how someone else has implemented it. Located in a residential setting, parking wasn't the first consideration when designing the layout of the farm. If you or someone you're visiting with has mobility issues, try dropping them off near the entrance before parking. The gravel path has a gentle grade and can pose risks for those prone to falls. But don't let that deter you from visiting the crown jewel of lavender farms in the area!

The cashier is at the front of the property in a greenhouse type structure that is incredibly humid. Staff were helpful and polite. They had live ladybugs!

Everyday is a lot better when you get to shop with Joe! And Brandon also came to help and he just lit things on fire in the best way. He asked to see pictures of our gardens, he had seen them when they were young. And also asked about our water garden which he generously helped us choose components for. We laughed we joked and we left with lots and lots of things. Thank you guys for offering up such amazing customer service. You two put Nordstrom to shame. We had taken out a number of trees in our yard and wanted a large tree that can be a focus for the…read morefront of the house. It was wonderful to be able to call Big Trees and set a time to see their trees. Daniel took us around and also helped us as we considered several types of trees. We determined that a Somerset Red Maple would be large enough and that it would be relatively easy on yard maintenance. The tour helped us decide that we really needed a tall (30' feet) to enjoy in the next few years. Big Trees was excellent at setting up a date and delivering the tree. It was amazing just to watch the equipment as they dug the hole and planted the tree (see pictures). Now we just need to follow their directions. Felix and the staff planting the tree were easy to work with. They helpled take down and reinstall part of our fence and they cleaned upt he site very well.

I also needed a new tap knob for a hose hookup. I asked more than one employee, before finally finding one who knew exactly what I needed. Then I get to the checkout and I had to run back to my car, as they didn't have Apple Pay or Samsung pay. Booooooo. Much more secure and much easier. They are ripping you off, because the program measure more than you need and they charge you for it and it also accumulates to so much waste. We had them correctly measure 38 yards needed, but charged us for 46, cause the program doesn't know how to adjust to corners and seams adjustments. BE AWARE!
