Very unique and fun place! The human sized basket is especially fun and changes seasonally.

Garden Corner is my favorite nursery! They have the best potting soil, a huge variety of indoor and outdoor plants, along with the world's largest hanging basket! It is so much fun to walk around and look at the decor, listen to the chimes and interact with the cat and chickens. The staff is knowledgeable and more than happy to share insights and tips. Every year we purchase our hanging flower baskets, fertilizer and potting soil here. read more

That was super impressed with this place. It's not only a shopping experience with healthy plants, the grounds are like a. Enchanted garden. The displays and paths through the place made it seem like a destination rather than a nursery. All the plants were in their own areas and was easy to shop. Even if you're looking for a day out, this would be a fun place to walk through read more

We were allowed to roam unbothered by staff. Check out can be done by QR codes so zooming in and out is not a problem. They have amazing large planting options that can be focus point for a back yard and little replicas for a small patio. read more

When we first arrived I thought what a pretty place. I believe the gentleman that helped us was named "Jonn" but I may be wrong. He was very informative and provided good advice to save my Home Depot plants that are dying. Also made solid suggestions on plants to add to our backyard. Overall, we were very happy that we drove out here. Paid more than I wanted to but feeling like this time the plants will survive my newer gardener skills! read more

The Garden Corner - This might be my new favorite plant nursery. There are great ones all over the place out here of course and this is probably the most expensive, but regardless, possibly the most interesting of them all. I was showing homes in Tualitin and stumbled upon this place. Notice the massive hanging plant structure that is 15 to 20 feet tall. It slowly spins around and has a Bigfoot sculpture inside of it. I also bought the most adorable miniature hanging plant ever (photo of plant on wood shelf). If you are ever in the area (especially during Summer and Spring) check this place out. Very cool. Highly recommend. (10 stars out of 10) read more

This place was so cool!! We stopped by on Easter morning and they were hiding eggs for kids to find later-how sweet! They had a wide selection of plants with lots of information available. You could tell the staff enjoyed their job and took excellent care of the plants. The staff offered us help multiple times and explained that they had complementary services like a potting station and a coffee bar. We got the coffee which is served in a pot mug and delicious. We even bought our little pot mug to take home, because why not! They had the sweetest cat (Salem) who keeps guard over the place, as well as a few chickens wondering around. We got to see the epic spinning basket and wow the pictures/videos do not do it justice. That thing is incredible! They have an app and website that we still need to check out and they said they do shipping to other states. We walked around for over an hour and we could have spent way more time. The whole place has a great feeling to it as you walk around. We will be back again very soon and cannot recommend this store more! read more

This place is amazing! The vibe is relaxing and education / knowledge from the staff is fabulous. This is what a local nursery and home/gift store should be like. Skip the cheap big boxes and support your local community...plus free coffee sometimes too! read more

My sister had sent me an advertisement via Instagram for The Garden Corner. It looked so great so I went and checked it out last weekend. So glad that I did! Loved everything about it. I think I spent at least 2+ hours there, wondering around trying to decide what I wanted to buy and plant. So much to see! They have so many fun and unique containers to put plants and flowers in! Love that you can purchase adorable planters and baskets and pick out a variety of plants/flowers and plant them there! They provide a nice area to do this with everything you would need with tables, the soil, root boost, even gloves. It was a lot of fun! I even brought my husband back the next day. Thought it would be fun for the 2 of us to pick out something special, which we did (a large very cool ceramic shell) and planted flowers in it together for our anniversary. Can't wait to go back! read more

I love the Garden Corner. I used to visit all the time when I lived in Sherwood and it's still just as amazing now as I remembered. Their gigantic hanging basket is still an amazing sight! Walking on the weaving and whimsical path relaxes me and my last visit I brought a friend who had never been. We got help with advice on some indoor plants and purchased a few. We will be back again for outdoor plants soon. read more

Can't say enough about the continued service and selection at the Garden Corner! We've bought our baskets year after year and loved how amazing they turn out. This year when I returned my old pots for deposit, Ryan mentioned that I could re-use the existing greenery and add new flowers. He mentioned that John (the owner) offers free soil and booster as well as tools and tables for no charge to rebuild your baskets with the purchase of new plants. Here's the amazing part... I'm a super newbie at this stuff and felt a little uncomfortable digging into my existing baskets. Kathy took me under her wing and not only helped me with the right flowers, but got right in and showed me how to do it! She continually checked on me and offered more assistance. At the end of the day, we replanted (12) pots and I even took a swing at a couple of tomato plants. To wrap up the experience, John helped me load the truck! Highly recommend the Garden Corner and their team! read more

The is truly one of the BEST retail nurseries in the area! It is tucked away in Tualatin, worth the effort of exploring. I have shopped here for several years. The staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable. Jonn, the owner is quite out going. He is on the lookout g do or new ideas in baskets, window boxes of a large variety of sizes. Many of the plants here are selected for containers. I can count if these plants working (growing) well! read more

The Garden Corner is a wonderful local treasure. There is an incredible variety of plants, tools, and garden decor all year round. It would be impossible for the owner to be anymore knowledgable, kind, or passionate. The employees are also helpful, and wonderful. We bought our Christmas tree here last year, and we had many people tell us it was the most gorgeous tree they'd ever seen. We had it for over a month, and it hadn't even begun to dry out when it was ready to be taken down and recycled. A huge plus was the owner sent an email the day we bought it making sure we were happy with our tree, and letting us know that they carefully pick each tree, and take great pride in the trees health and quality, and also let us know that if we were dissatisfied at all they would replace it! Such wonderful customer service. read more

Fantastic Ambiance, but very limited selection of plants. tools, amendments, garden necessities, etc. Enjoyable visit none the less.

I'm always looking for plants that I can bring back from our family travels. We visited the nursery this past week and the employee reception was one of the best I've received at any nursery in the U.S. It was a hot day and the nursery representative (because I don't remember her name, I will day she was of Asian descent) offered us water. What a nice touch. Your employee is such a wonderful person and rep. I think I may live in Oregon at some point in my life and Tualatin is high on my list. This nursery would be my go to place. The design is beautiful with meandering pathways. The variety of plants is amazing. Thanks for a wonderful visit! read more

I seem to have overlooked a number of resources and vendors that are close to my home, as though I've taken them for granted...and I must apologize for that. My wife is the family's gardener and everything (everyone) seems to flourish with her attention. I am a clumsy devil and after years of coaching I can barely remember the names of the flowers in my wife's "jungle". Not far from our home, The Garden Corner has undergone remodeling in the recent past and I'm pleased with the choices they've made. I enjoy shopping there! The staff was helpful and pleasant as I shopped for gifts, and I'm very glad they're nearby. I recommend them to others. read more

I can't say enough good things about this gorgeous place!! Winding paths take the shopper through various displays which have a very boutique feel but at a nursery!! Brilliant! The hanging baskets are striking, especially the giant one which i couldn't stop looking at!! Great service! They have a coffee bar and drinks were offered several times!! Prices were reasonable as well. I'll be back! read more

My father is 85 next week and pretty isolated due to the current situation. He has been in lock down since March 11. He placed an order with you last week and asked if anyone could deliver his order to him. Two workers were kind enough to go out of their way to get it for him. I can't thank you enough and tell you how much this means to me. I'm happy to recommend such a business to all I know. read more

Poor Experience. I placed an online order. They use an unknown credit card payment method. When I am buying online I want the convenience of using a popular preferred payment method. I chose not to give my credit card online. I called to speak to a real person. I placed my order. One day after an owner said it would ship, not once, but twice, I was called and informed that 2 items were not able to ship. Needless to say, I canceled my whole order and won't be back. With the risk of unhealthy virus transmission, there are tons of places to order online... read more

I called this place today and spoke to a very nice and helpful man, who gave great advice on how to start my first veggie garden. He directed me to order on line- they have a very nice website. I ordered on line and within an hour (website says normally 3 days) the plants were delivered to my door. They also offer curbside pick up. I was extremely pleased with the customer service and I will be shopping with them often. read more

Bought a lot of plants this weekend and the service was fantastic. We were approached multiple times and given great feedback as we attempt to plant our gardens after just moving. The owner introduced himself and all the employees were great. The prices were higher than some places but you get what you pay for as far as guidance, backing their products (we were told if we have any issues with our plants dying to come back and they'd back it up). Great service (a lost art today) and $$$ later I have several gorgeous new plants! This is definitely the best nursery in the area and we will be back! read more

Very close to my house. The owners are very nice and knowledgable about anything that needs sun/water etc. They are very supportive of the Tualatin schools and a big part of the community. Now that we live just around a few corners from here, I go often. The owner is really fun, funny, and full of ideas and tips, try and get that somewhere else. The plants they offer are laid out by color and sun requirements. They are healthy and sturdy. The Garden Corner offers beautiful hanging baskets throughout the year, and in fact do the hanging baskets you see in the city of Tualatin hanging streetside. They have a nice email newsletter with videos, inspiration, and hot deals. Get on that list and you'll get insider pricing. Don't miss the Easter egg hunt. read more

I patronized this store this past weekend. I had my own personal shopper (the owner) who guided me to the plants that would work best in my limited space. I have shopped at the Garden Corner for years and I shop at other nurseries too , I do my own statuary and planters enjoying it and budgeting as these plants are only annuals exotic and can break the bank in one summer and annuals don't come back . While they have a wonderful a selection, the prices are higher than most nurseries, quite a bit . And just the other day I stopped in for a minute dropped 56.00 on six small plant annuals and received back 1.00 only ! For 56.00 dollars pretty bad , hardly a incentive against Als Garden bucks . As they give 1.00 Back for each $ 10.00 spent . The Garden Corner is unique but so are the prices because of it . I love to just wonder and believe the owner loves what he does . You can see it in the nursery and I Take ideas from it , it's a terrific place for that too . Bottom line I think when it is all said and done it's for people who can afford dumping a lot of money on even small pots to large into the hundreds for just one season , if they have deep Pockets and just don't want to be bothered with doing it themselves Or get dirt on their hands which I like . If You have not been there , go ! You will enjoy but if you want to buy take your billfold it's not Als or Gardeners Choice . Even they can be somewhat high on some plants but there is a something for everyone's pocket wise there . And again you get a much better incentive with it . read more

This is my all time favorite nursery!! I love to look around at the wonderful plants. Splashes of color everywhere. For a beautiful outdoor shopping experience, complete with adorable chickens that weave in and out during your Exploration for the perfect plants, Come to the Garden corner. You will find a pink section, a purple section And most other colors you can think of. You follow a beautiful winding path through the maze of flowers and other exotic plants. More than ever, we need to support our local businesses if we want to have our own dreams fulfilled. Because without small businesses, all of the beauty and creativity that we find around us disappears. Going to the Garden corner is such a beautiful and uplifting experience. It is not like going to a chain store to buy your plants. I truly felt excited and inspired by the beauty around me and the environment I was in while buying the plants. Now I have a beautiful backyard with a wonderful variety of flowers and grasses. Thank you garden corner. read more

Read through a few of the reviews before posting. No surprise--everyone loves this place (or should!). The atmosphere is very "zen" and it's hard to stay away (and the staff encourages you to "come and wander around"). I like to do that too. Such a great atmosphere and great staff and "fun". I think I'm a bit addicted to the place. I had a similar experience my first visit as Robert S. posted. Jonn K. took me under his wing and helped me pick just the right plants for my gardening projects. I'm no gardener but he got me excited about the plants and was so great to help me improve re: care and handling. His enthusiasm and energy are infectious and even if you aren't a plant person (or rebel gardener as he likes to call us!) you become one. Everyone who works there is great and a lot of fun to visit and talk with and share plant stories and learn more about the most amazing plants. Poke around the website and read about the characters who work there and you will appreciate them even more and enjoy the visits as well as the shopping experience. Have to say I saw some negative comments about Levi which surprised me. I'm an ex-dog-trainer and pretty fussy about dog behavior and good manners. Levi impressed me the first visit. He's as laid-back and cool as Jonn and the rest of the GC staff. I miss him if he isn't around when I go to the nursery. And lets not forget the chickens and bunnies for "bling". If you haven't visited, visit. You won't be disappointed. You might come home with more plants than you planned on buying or planting but you won't regret that and will enjoy gardening (in spite of yourself!) and will find a reason to go back again and again. Sign up for the newsletters and weekly movies. LOTS of fun and you will discover even more amazing deals and plants to lure you back. Another reviewer mentioned the Christmas trees. I'm excited to get one of those this coming Christmas. Really beautiful trees and some nice perks re: delivery, decorating, etc. Lots of great options there...and we haven't even discussed the hanging baskets which are GC's REAL passion. My hanging baskets last season were unique and striking and got a lot of comments from friends and neighbors. Buy their designs or make up your own baskets. Either way you will have baskets that are the envy of others. Guaranteed...by GC as well as one of their loyal customers (me). Keep up the good work, Jonn, Tracy, Mr. T, T-Bone, Sting, Levi...and the rest of the staff at TGC. read more

As the daughter of a nurseryman, I am picky about the nurseries that I shop at. Sure, you can get plants almost anywhere you shop anymore...all the grocery stores and big box places have all the seasonal plants you'd need. However, can they answer your questions about planting techniques? Will they take the time to look at photos of the area you are working on in your yard and have proper suggestions for plants that will fit your budget AND style? I'd guess not! This is one of the areas where The Garden Corner shines. The owner, Jonn, and his staff are cheerful and helpful. The nursery itself is bee-yoo-tiful...it's calming to walk through and enjoy the day even if you are just browsing. This is the home of the amazing "Lake Oswego Hanging Baskets" and each year we enjoy purchasing a smaller version of these beauties for our front porch. I was lucky enough to get a Sharing Spree deal (spent $15 for $30 worth of plants...it's no longer available but be sure to check them out at sharingspree.com for other awesome deals...maybe they'll run Garden Corner again!) and purchased things not only for myself but also as a gift for a family member. I highly recommend this beautiful nursery...fabulous plants, staff, AND they are locally owned! read more

First time in and I have to say, I am impressed. It's a smaller nursery and in later winter some tables weren't stocked yet but they have something no other nursery has. Real, helpful, friendly humans! We were greeted and asked what we needed, the guy brought various options to us while the owner offered to make use mochas. We spent rest of the time walking around drinking mochas with a chicken and a dog walking around too. Very knowledgeable staff. Prices are a little high in comparison to home depot but expected with a smaller business. Will definitely return! read more
