Instead, the order has to be received, then taken to the store for a refund. Anyone ordering Joann's online store should be aware. I did not see a policy regarding cancelation. Even though my decision not to order again from the online store will not have a financial impact someone reading this may decide not to use the online option. I am debating whether or not to continue shopping in-store. Joann's is not the only craft store in the area. I would not have visited the online store if the actual store would have enough store brand inventory in stock like the brand names. A very dissatisfied customer!

I had a truly disappointing experience at Joann's today. I approached an employee (skinny caucasian…read morewoman) at the cutting counter with a few questions about some fabric I was looking at. Instead of receiving a friendly response, I was met with a snappy and rude attitude for simple questions about the misleading sale signs in the baby flannel aisle. I spoke to the employee respectfully as should we all. Not only did they seem irritated by my inquiries, but their responses were obviously in an aggravated manner. It felt like I was more of an inconvenience than a customer. This level of customer service is unacceptable and left me with a very negative impression of the store. I hope management addresses this issue, as it's essential for staff to be courteous and helpful. I normally visit the Joann's in Macon and the ladies there are extremely kind and helpful. I was in WR for an errand and decided to stop at this Joann's branch for convenience and the joy of visiting my favorite hobby store. However, in return, it was a letdown. Aside from that the other employees seemed really kind.

My number one recommendation for coming here is to have a list of what you need/are looking for because you couldn't possibly just browse the shelves like you would at Joann's or Michaels. The workers are all very kind and generous, often measuring lengths of fabrics and trims more with their heart than the rulers. I have never had an unpleasant experience with fine fabrics and I visited their Norcross location many a time, as well.
