Since we're regulars, the employees recognize us and are always so friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to see us. It really gives the shop that wonderful neighborhood feel that you just don't get at the larger chains. They also have a surprisingly great selection of pet supplies, treats, toys, and little critters. I almost never manage to leave with just the crickets -- usually an extra cat toy or treat somehow makes its way home with me too! Such a cute local shop with great people, and definitely a Montrose business worth supporting. We'll continue to be regulars!

They…read moreoffer both retail and wholesale, and while wholesale is reserved for verified pet stores only (as it should be), even their retail pricing is extremely reasonable. The staff is incredible. You can immediately tell they operate as a true team--everyone helps each other, everyone helps customers, and the service is consistently on point. Timing-wise, they're rock solid. I'm usually that person who shows up 10-15 minutes early and waits in the parking lot, and without fail, the gate opens exactly at 9am every single time. I retail their dog bones and bone fillings, and my customers' pets absolutely love them. The pricing is the best I've found, which is why I restock here consistently. I almost always end up picking up extra items because the value is just that good. Great products, great prices, and great service. Businesses that operate at this level are rare these days--Henco is doing it right.

Extremely Disappointing First Grooming Experience…read more I am extremely disappointed with the grooming service. This was my puppy's very first grooming appointment, and I was really hoping for a positive experience. Unfortunately, the results were terrible. My requests regarding the length and shape of my dog's haircut were completely ignored. The hair on his ears was cut very unevenly and looks messy and unprofessional. There are also several spots on his body where the hair was left noticeably longer, making the entire haircut look uneven and poorly done. I specifically requested a cute, round face, but instead, they made his face look very long and narrow. On top of that, the hair on his head was cut way too short, completely ruining his appearance. The final result looks nothing like what I asked for. The haircut is uneven, poorly shaped, and honestly makes my puppy look terrible. What makes this even more upsetting is that this was his first grooming experience, and I wanted it to be special. Instead, I left feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. I expected much better attention to detail and respect for my requests. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this grooming service.

I've used many different groomers, today it happened to be Jessica. I've never used the vet services, but the staff there is absolutely wonderful. The manager Cindy J is always available and running around doing what seems like 1000 things. We've never had problems returning things. We absolutely love it here. We've been using them for the last five years now.

I went home and fed my guineas and rabbit pellets, and there were so many bugs it was okay though I thought if I came back they could just help me out, note, that guinea pigs and rabbits really shouldn't be outdoor, or at least mine are indoor, so imagine an infestation of bugs in my home, but it's okay I caught it quick. I came to return it they said they'll give me another one but it most likely has bugs too. So I asked if I can get another brand, it was 2 dollars more which I didn't have, and I drove there and back, and they laughed at me and said "lol it's not a big deal it has bugs it's protein" and I said I can't just let the bugs in my home can you not please just help me out. They just laughed. It's okay though. I just realized I've been giving my money , when you can just go a couple miles into another city where service will matter. I'm also taking this matter to social media because it's just not right.
