I did a lot of research and went through a lot of portfolios before I chose Dr. Sternschein, and can honestly say that I can't imagine what my life would be like had I chosen anyone else. He's not a surgeon, he is truly an artist. He did such an amazing job that nobody ever knows that I've had any work done at all- and isn't that how it should be? You should never look at someone and think, "Wow- they had plastic surgery". If it's done right, you should look at someone and think, "Wow, they look great!" No prior notice was provided, no attempt at remediation, and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. This asymmetric policy framework--wherein patient compliance is strictly monitored and penalized while the provider assumes no responsibility for its own operational lapses--raises serious concerns regarding professionalism, fair dealing, and the implied covenant of good faith. One might reasonably expect a "medical" establishment to demonstrate at least a baseline commitment to honoring appointments or, at the very least, to notifying patients of cancellations in advance. Failure to do so not only breaches patient trust but potentially exposes the practice to reputational risk and claims of inequitable conduct.
