We actually found Willie through the person who is replacing the carpet in our home. He recommended Willie and mentioned that he also did bathroom renovations. Our bathrooms were pretty outdated, so what originally started as wanting to replace the flooring turned into updating both bathrooms. I'm so glad we were referred to him! Before the project even started, Willie personally helped us choose our materials. He met us at a tile showroom he works with and walked us around while we selected our tile. He then took us to a granite supplier so we could see the different options in person and choose our bathroom countertops. He also helped us figure out which fixtures, finishes and shower hardware we needed to purchase. Having someone so knowledgeable guide us through all those decisions made the process so much easier. One of the things I appreciated most was how much Willie coordinated for us. He arranged for the plumber and countertop installers, worked with everyone to keep things moving and even connected us with someone who makes custom shower doors. We didn't have to worry about finding and coordinating all these different people ourselves. Willie was always available to answer questions, offer suggestions and make sure everything was coming together exactly how we wanted. His crew was just as wonderful! The two men working alongside Willie were incredibly hardworking, professional, respectful and meticulous. They showed up on time every morning and paid so much attention to detail. The tile work is absolutely beautiful, and I was especially impressed by how precisely everything was measured, cut and installed. Our finished bathrooms look amazing! The large marble-look tiles, contrasting dark gray floors, gold trim around the edges and shower niches, beautiful countertops and gold fixtures all came together exactly how we envisioned. The attention to detail is incredible, especially around the corners, bathtub surrounds, niches and other areas that require very precise cuts. You can really tell they take pride in their craftsmanship. Another thing that deserves recognition is how incredibly clean they kept our home. They put protective paper down throughout our hallways to protect our carpet and cleaned up after themselves every single day. They even cut the tile outside using water to keep the dust under control. I honestly expected our house to be covered in dust during a bathroom renovation because that's something so many people have to deal with, but we didn't have dust anywhere in our house! I'm so grateful we didn't have to deal with that on top of everything else. The care they took to protect our home and keep everything clean was incredible. Throughout the entire project, Willie was dependable, communicative, flexible and genuinely invested in making sure we were happy with the results. He pays attention to even the smallest details and makes sure everything looks exactly right. It's refreshing to work with someone who cares as much about the quality of the finished product as he does about the experience his customers have along the way. More than anything, Willie is just such a stand-up guy. He and his crew made what could have been a stressful renovation into such a positive experience. We absolutely love how our bathrooms turned out, and I'm so grateful for all the time, effort and care they put into our home. If you're in Folsom or the surrounding area and are looking for someone to update your bathroom, I would happily recommend Willie and West Coast Construction to all of our family and friends. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, cleanliness, communication and overall experience have been phenomenal. Willie will absolutely be the first person we call for any future projects!

They tell me they paint lines all the time. the guys had a reference they used for the lines. Unfortunately their template is from 2019. While this business was painting the group of homes in my HOA, they approached me about fixing a…read moreplugged rain gutter that I had. They said for $250 they would fix it. I thought that seemed reasonable so I cut them a check. Something to note, my house has no big trees around as it's a new development. Further, the gutter is connected to a third story deck and there aren't leaves or vegetation up there. When we had our first strong rain, I noticed that the rain gutter was stopped up. I called JWS to see if they could address. Left a VM. I did get a call back a few days later from a woman named Brandy. She left a weird VM for me saying she was going to contact my HOA. I called her back stating the HOA does not need to be involved. I paid directly to JWS to fix a problem and that the issue still existed. She said she would need to talk to the owner and get back to me. After a few weeks went by, I called her back and asked what the status was. Her response was pretty flat that the owner was not interested in addressing this issue, that my rain gutter probably got clogged with leaves, and I was looking for a free gutter cleaning. I re-explained the issue but she said the owner wasn't interested but that I was free to hire someone else to do the job. I asked if she planned on ever calling me back (as I had to call her back) and the answer was that they hadn't gotten around to calling me, even though it was clear they had made up their minds immediately . It seems like they had no intention of calling me back. Here's the thing. They solicited me to do the work. I didn't ask them. I paid them money and they didn't address the issue. And then they were rude about the resolution. It was very unprofessional behavior and a total turn off. While they did a good job painting my house, this issue has completely turned me off from using their services or recommend anyone use their services.
