"Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend"…read more I really wanted to believe this place cared about both donors and employees, but my experience said otherwise. The staff seemed rushed and overworked, and it showed in how poorly customers were treated. From the moment I walked in, the process felt chaotic and unorganized -- long waits, little communication, and no sense of compassion for the people actually donating. The facility itself didn't feel very clean, and at times I honestly felt more like a number than a human being. Donating plasma is not easy on your body, but the staff acted like donors were disposable, just another body to cycle through. On top of that, I couldn't help but notice how stressed and unhappy the employees looked. When workers are clearly burnt out and unsupported, it trickles down into how customers get treated too. It left me wondering how much this company really values anyone in the building, whether staff or donors. I understand plasma donation is important, but there are other centers in Chicago that treat people with more respect and run a tighter ship. My advice: try somewhere else if you want a smoother, more humane experience.

While doing my exercises, they're with the next patient or typing their notes in the computer. Not enough equipment for that many patients. I had to repeat therapy because they didn't have me do effective exercises. I used a pulley for exercise then sat in a chair for the rest of my session doing exercises. I could do that at home! I did my second round of PT at Fyzical on Archer. I highly recommend going there for therapy. The therapist works only with you not with four people at the same time. The therapists are watching you do your therapy and they will correct you if you do not do it properly. They are not talking to each other. They are focused only on the patient. Nice clean facility and very focused on the individual patient. RUN FROM ATI, they are there to socialize with each other not work.

I was checked in and had already started filling out paperwork before the front desk staff guy told me they "don't accept my insurance." This makes absolutely no sense, considering my daughter was just seen there a couple days ago and my insurance has not changed at all. Instead of double checking or trying to resolve it, the front desk employee simply turned us away after we had already gone through the check-in process. It was a complete waste of time and incredibly frustrating, especially having to bring my child in just to be turned away like that. This should have been verified before check-in, especially for a family that has been established with this office for years. The way it was handled was rude and lazy. No effort to help, no explanation, nothing. If this is how they treat people who've been coming here for years.

When I walked in the staff was attentive and professional. I completed some paper work and barely waited 10 mins before I was called in for a revision. So far so good. I was given a covid test which I later got a bill for $100! And a strep throat test. Once I saw the nurse I explained my symptoms to her. I was told I had severe inflammation but did not know if it was due to a virus or allergies. I was given the option to take a steroid or to wait it out for a few more days and try OTC Flonase. I didn't feel comfortable taking a steroid without a verdict so I went with the alternative. A few week weeks later I get a text for a $252 bill! Not even a bill in the MAIL! So I had no news till now about a bill! I Kept getting multiple texts/calls in one day. By the way I NEVER received my COVID results! The quality of care and lack of transparency for the cost is the reason I will Never go back. DO NOT GET A COVID TEST if you don't want to pay $100+. GET ONE for $25 at the pharmacy. Go somewhere else for better care!

You get maybe a half hour of your appointment with your therapist. Then the therapist has his 9:30 appointment shows up. You get put on the back burner while he takes on the new one. So you'll be doing an exercise and you might be doing it wrong and no one says anything or you finish the required sets and have to get his attention. It's bothersome that there are other assistants there but they don't seem to know what exercise you're doing or the next exercise you should do so they can't help unless the main therapist tells them. And then the 10am appointment shows up. So now the therapist has 3 people he's working on. It's like the therapist is juggling what he was assigned and does the best he can but it's too much. So you pay full price but get 1/3 of the attention. It's nice they have free parking. I just wish they wouldn't load up the staff so you get the attention you pay for.
