Blood began gushing out and was bleeding underneath the skin and tore the vein a little. She had to stop because there was so much blood coming underneath my skin that became the size of a golf ball. This all happened within 30-45 seconds. Then I have never received my E-gift card and nobody would call me back after a week. We left three phone messages and sent a message through their website and haven't heard from anyone.

They were very thorough and a staff member even came over to go over the paperwork and asked if she had any more questions or concerns. They convinced her to become a monthly member, and since she was added to my plan, she gets them for $49/month instead of $59. MEMBERS: This location is big with lots of rooms. There is a member's lounge with some couches, a water cooler and a bowl of candy. When I booked an appt. over the phone, they said it was at 4:15. After arriving earlier than that and waiting til about 4:20, I asked where the masseurs were. This was the first I heard that my appt. was actually at 4:30. I was disappointed that it still ended up starting late (about 4:45) but the service was great and I think the masseur did still work for 50 minutes. A woman that was constantly complaining about how much she hated her job there was the person that prepped me for donation with the needle and it was apparently placed incorrectly because it was incredibly painful and uncomfortable during my entire donation process. My arm bruised very badly and it felt sore for over a week. For some reason I was still able to keep donating a couple more times until my bruising faded, then a few staff members acted like it was a problem because a light brown discoloration appeared on my arm at my injection site. I thought it was my fault for a while because I left a band aid on for too long but come to find out, I ended up getting Hemosiderin Staining as a result. It isn't that bad but now I feel like a laser treatment or just covering it up with another tattoo are some options to erase this minor flaw caused by negligence. I should've just walked out instead of let an unhappy employee touch me. Aside from all this, there were more good employees than bad, there and because of that, I didn't leave a 1 star rating.

Realized trying g o be there in the afternoon when life became hectic were my wrong actions. After signing in;; the shorter, African-American, less hair, not thin (hope that works -never gave her name- phlebotomist said to another staffer"he's the one that never shows up.* I & the 2 other donors, & the trainees heard that HIPPA ? Violation? or was it just professional? Thankfully Susan (hopefully a supervisor) heard that snide remark also. While I was unable to donate due to low iron (dam my being a vegan;-) Susan kindly shared that iron supplements are $5 at Wal-Mart. Thank you Susan! That was helpful unlike the cutting works from the employee that I trust will be reprimanded up to & including termination (she may already be on a verbal warning) Susan graciously offered to reschedule me & I accepted for Nov 13 when there is a VIP event for platelet donors. Who knows, maybe I'll meet Cliff Newmark there again like I so surprisingly did last year"-)
