It's great going in to get your blood drawn and you know ahead of time it won't be too bad. And it's even better that the process was fast once you're checked in. That's always a plus when you're dealing with medical appointments as we all know!! The girls behind the counter at Mission Lab Express are skilled at taking blood. The fact that it never hurts when they do it is definitely a testament to their expertise. Having a painless experience during blood work can make a big difference in how comfortable you feel throughout the process. Mission Lab Express provides efficient and skilled service when it comes to blood work! I go at least once a year here. Keep up the good work guys!!

Very friendly and helpful front- desk personnel, as was the PA who helped me. I learned so much from Dr. Dawson about my feet and why I experience pain when I walk for any distance. (I have bunions on both sides of my feet, tight Achilles tendons, flat arches...you name it). I am so glad I went to this clinic. I'm finally getting the help I need. I'm even considering getting a Fitbit/step-counter and beginning a walking regimen for exercise. Don't hesitate to consult this practice.

Compliments to Dr A's assistants Ashley and Tricia for their care and kindness. (Top level staff at this facility in every respect). Big thanks also to Heide, who made the long distance scheduling seamless. (Especially after I had to miss my initial procedure date, due to first government shut down and consequent airline cancellation.) I only wish Yelp offered 6 stars. This surgeon and his staff merit every one of them.

Unfortunately you can't leave zero stars. I would strongly…read morecaution anyone considering Jennifer Taylor at the Hendersonville office. After a procedure involving my care resulted in surgery being performed on the wrong location on my head, I returned to the office wanting to understand how this happened and what could have been done to prevent it. Instead of compassion, I experienced an incredibly confrontational interaction with Jennifer. She came into the room visibly upset and defensive, argued with me, and repeatedly focused on distancing herself from any responsibility. I made it clear multiple times that the surgeon who actually performed the procedure had already taken responsibility. My concern was how the process broke down so badly that I ended up having surgery in the wrong location. Most disturbing was being told that the words I was using were "red flags" and that I was not a "safe patient" while I was trying to advocate for myself after what I had just experienced. The office manager showed virtually no empathy afterward and made an already horrible situation even more upsetting. I have never felt so dismissed or poorly treated by a medical practice. A patient dealing with the aftermath of a serious error deserves compassion, professionalism, and a willingness to listen--not hostility for asking how it happened.

On my most recent ER visit I went in with severe nerve pain in my lower back. After check in I was brought back to a room and was visited by a DR Gail Tolten within 15 minutes. She ordered X-rays and a steroid shot which I received within 5 minutes. I had X-rays done within 15 minutes. Dr. Tolten then came back about 15-20 minutes later and explained everything she saw on the X-rays. I was given meds for pain and muscle relaxer and told to follow up with my GP about an MRI. I was in at 9:00 am and out by 11:00 am. I was also visited by Josh Carter of the SCOUTS program. He informed me of quite a few programs offered to vets over 60 that I wasn't aware of. If you are a vet or spouse of one, I highly recommend this hospital. The best VA hospital I have ever experienced.
