I did not sneak one. I did not "sample for quality control." This is exactly how they handed it to me. Half full. Actually... maybe optimistically half full. I don't know who decided that a "large" onion ring should look like it's on a diet, but this is ridiculous. When I order a large, I expect onion rings to the top, not playing hide-and-seek at the bottom of the container like they're ashamed to be there. This isn't inflation -- this is onion ring shrinkflation. I paid for a large and received what appears to be: * a medium's shy cousin * a portion suggestion * a container full of hopes and dreams If you're going to charge for a large, at least pretend you're trying. These onion rings look like they were poured in, shook once, and sent out with a "good luck out there." I've included photos so no one thinks I'm exaggerating -- because honestly, I wish I were. Whataburger, I love you... but if this is the new normal, just put "half-full large" on the menu so we can all emotionally prepare. One star. Fill the box. Respect the onion
