I'm going to break this review up into 2 parts because that's the very nature of getting a custom suit made. Also, I should note that I worked for several years in the financial industry. So needless to say, I've seen and worn a lot of suits. Part 1. The Fitting. Recently my roommate had a suit made by the guys at Bindle & Keep. While I didn't get to see the fitting I did see the final product. The suit from Bindle and Keep was beautiful. The fit, the fabric, the details...all were just spot on. When I asked him the cost I was shocked to find that a suit of that quality was within reason. I quickly set up a fitting. The fitting took place at my office and a time that was convenient for me. I hadn't expected that the customer service would also be custom tailored. Mario worked that tape measure for about an hour jotting down dimensions and asking me questions. Along the way we discussed the art of tailoring, good suits vs bad suits, fabrics, styles, trends, and so on. I laughed and learned. By the end of the process I had quite a little audience of jealous onlookers. One coworker was so impressed by the process that she has decided to give a custom Bindle & Keep suit to her husband. Who knew that a suit fitting would be so enjoyable. I can say unquestionably that Part 1 exceeded all my expectations and was a resounding success. Now....I'm anxiously awaiting Part 2. PART 2. THE SUIT ARRIVES. Admittedly this review should have been submitted sooner, however, I made the mistake of providing the wrong zip code. Daniel (owner of B&K) agreed with me that we should wait and see if the suit turned up. Unfortunately, the USPS never forwarded the package or returned it to the sender. No doubt, some lucky postal worker is wearing my beautifully made suit. So, in the end, Daniel and his team made me another suit (at his loss). The wait was worth it. I've owned quite a few suits (expensive ones at that) and I now realize that I have never owned a good one. In the past I've put on a suit hoping that it would fit close enough and that a tailor could make it work. But this suit experience was entirely different. The minute I put the Bindle & Keep suit on I knew it would only work for me and only me. Every cut, every stitch, every fabric choice was perfect. Terrible experience. The short story is that I ordered 2 suits and a shirt for my wedding, with plenty of time, and they didn't deliver or took responsibility for it, and furthermore, they wasted lots of my time. The worst part if that the whole process was a series of successive errors, incompetence, and poor customer service. Below, the facts, and at the end, I'll give you alternatives for more reliable and cheaper places to get suits made in Asia (which is where this guys get their suits) for men and women. The first of my disappointments was about misrepresentation. I was under the impression that this was a queer business. LADIES BE WARE. This not a QUEER BUSINESS. Rachel, the queer face of the business,is not a real 'partner', as she cannot make any decisions. Everything has to go through Daniel, who has terrible customer service skills, and anger management issues. The second disappointment is that these suits are made in Thailand, same as Suit Supply or Indochino, but more expensive. They are not 'clothiers' as they call themselves. In fact, Rachel didn't even know how to pin pants' hems. I asked specifically if the suits could be done for a particular date, 9 days before my wedding. They said yes. A few days before the deadline, I asked when I could expect a fitting. Daniel sent me a harsh e-mail saying that they never agreed to have the suits ready for that day, that they would be ready for the day of the wedding. Custom made suits need a fitting and then adjustments. Help me help you, I asked. The suits arrived from Thailand 5 days before the wedding, yes! They were SO HUGE it was obvious they were not made for me... They were about 3 sizes too big. No problem, said Rachel, we will fix them. Great. Where's my shirt? I asked. Well, they forgot to order it. Instead of rushing the order, Daniel said that I 'should get a shirt at Uniqlo, 'It will be cheaper than if we make it'. WHAT? They offered to pay $100 towards a shirt (this after much back and forth, and they NEVER honored this promise). I had to go buy a shirt 3 days before the wedding and then find a tailor to fix it... Bindle and Keep wouldn't do it, not enough time. Are you kidding me? At that point I should have been first in line for alterations. One of the suits had a double vent, instead of a single vent... Ok, will deal with this later... Another mistake. At this point my whole family is in town, I'm planning a wedding, and I'm having to deal with this throughout. Rachel calls, their 'tailor' will fix my suits. Can I be at my house in 3 hours for a fitting? Sure, I left my family behind to meet them and work with their schedule... The 'tailor' didn't measure me, he just looked at me, grabbed the cloth, and took some notes. He said that the suits didn't fit because of my breasts, 'the breasts are the problem' he kept saying. It's a custom made suit, if I had an arm coming out of my forehead, they should make it fit. Also, I do not appreciate strange men coming into my house to talk about how my body is a problem. This is when I realized that there was gonna be a problem, as these people could not get it together. I asked for an itemized receipt - I had paid $900 cash for deposit (50%). I got an invoice for 20% more of what I agreed on, 2 months after original payment date. Rachel had forgotten to include a vest, so she gave me a new invoice charging for it. She forgot to take the missing shirt off. After she took it off, I had to ask her to take the shirt off BEFORE taxes... basic math. It took about 4 hours of back and forth to sort this out. She has to consult everything with Daniel, so it took a while. 2 days later, the suits are ready. After hours of email and phone coordination, Rachel tells me that they can come to my home at MIDNIGHT. After more back and forth, she agrees to meet me at my office on the day after. 3 days before my wedding now, and the suits don't fit, they are now too small. They agreed to a full refund. This is were customer service took a head dive. At this point I'm extremely angry. I have no suit for my wedding or for the reception. Instead of a real apology, or any kind of compensations, Daniel said on an email: 'Sorry the suits didn't fit to your liking, we certainly tried our best'. Is this a joke, I thought? The suits didn't fit to MY BODY. That's their best, be warned. I have a lot more complaints, from Daniel sending me sarcastic emails, to making everything the most inconvenient for me, I guess after he realized he wasn't gonna be making any money with me, he decided to just be mean. Ladies: Ludlow suit, J crew. Excellent quality, invest $100 on a real tailor, will fit like a glove. I bought one, fits better than anything B&K made. Guys: Same, or, Indochino or Suit Supply. Holy. Cow. I don't even know where to begin. As someone who is getting married in December of this year, and someone who is a lady that isn't into dresses...its very hard to find a suit that doesn't make you look like a Murphy Brown knock off. Shoulder pads. Short awkward cuts. Poofy bangs. All of it. But, Bindle & Keep -- they know what's up. I first found them through an article a friend of mine sent to me that was all about the lesbian wedding suit dilemma. It's like, we want to look like Ellen, but there just isn't much out there that is widely know, unless you have "Ellen" money, which clearly I don't. #gayweddingproblems When I discovered Bindle & Keep, I knew this was exactly what I had been looking for since day one. Finally! And I have to say...I am BEYOND pleased with their process and everything about them. Rachel first came to measure me at my apartment and she went through all the different fabrics, even down to the button color and thread color. Daniel also stopped by to do more measurements and to go over more of the process. Once I got my suit back the first time, after losing quite a bit of weight due to our working out/wedding dieting (oops), they graciously took it in. They dealt with my bridezilla-ish/picky tendencies with the greatest of ease. What I got back as the final product was EXACTLY what I was looking for. And I seriously can't stop talking about them. I got pants, a shirt, a vest, and a jacket. My fiance' Lindsay and I are getting married in December, and while at first the whole process of looking for a "lady suit" was a bit frustrating and overwhelming -- with my sweet suit from Bindle, I feel completely confident that I look freaking amazing. My best man approves 100%. I've already worn the jacket a few times at work, as I'm not wearing that piece in the ceremony, and people can't stop complimenting me -- when they ask where I got the jacket, I tell them the whole story and they immediately go to the bindle & keep website to check out the magic. As I've told Daniel many times, I'm hoping to get lots of free shirts from all the referrals I'm sending his way. ;) Seriously -- don't go anywhere else. You may not have "Ellen's" money, but with these guys, you'll seriously feel like a rock star and stay well within your budget. read more

It is so hard to find a suit that properly fits if you are a woman. Rachel completely understood and helped me craft a perfect suit for my wedding. My fiance and I were visiting from the Bay Area. They came out to the apartment we were staying at to take measurements and talk colors, etc. Even though I asked a ton of questions, they were very patient. Similar to the pictures, I had my wedding date stitched into the jacket and I will treasure it forever. They were very responsive to email and made sure we were satisfied customers. I highly recommend Bindle & Keep for out of town customers. If you need the suit tailored and cannot get back to NY, they offer to ship the suit back and forth with the adjustments or comp your bill from a local tailor. My first bespoke suit experience was extremely positive with Bindle & Keep. Daniel was responsive via email and Mariusz was professional, helpful, and polite in person. I wasn't in a rush to get my suit and told them so, but it arrived in an appropriate amount of time and I couldn't be happier. The jacket fit was spot on and Mariusz even seemed happy to see how it fit on me. You can tell Bindle and Keep take pride in their work. The pants were a little short so he took them back with him and promised they'd be ready in a few days. I'm very happy with the whole process and quality of work and I find the price to be competitive if not better than an off-the-shelf garment that you'd have to alter anyways. DO NOT buy from this company. They are a rip Off ! I'll start from my first experience: Walking into the building was confusing and outright disgusting. It's in an old run down ware house with mice running around. I was in there and saw about 3 running around the room while we waited. While being there they had an enormous dog just hanging out getting his hair all over everyone expensive suits! I sat down and was presented a book full of fabric to pick from , little did I know I was looking at the most expensive fabric they offer. They never gave me an option to look at the other choices nor did I know there was any other choices ! They gave me a bill for over $800 for just pants and a vest! Not even with the jacket ! I said that was insane and then the guy said "well I can look at our lower cost fabrics". Thanks dude, wish you told me that from the start. I should have taken that as a sign to just walk out. I came back for a fitting and the suit was to big, so they had to make alterations. I then came back to try on the suit again and it was now to small. After coming back for the 4th the suit still didn't fit right. At this point I was just so annoyed I took it with me and went to another tailor. This place was such a rip off and they try and trick you into buying their most expensive stuff without knowing u have an option. With the amount of money and time I spent going back there I should of bought a plan ticket to Thailand , had my suit made for $100 and also had a vacation. Not to mention, they just send your measurements to Thailand that's why it takes so long for them to get it back to you. Save yourself time and money and avoid this place. read more

So...I'm getting married and the truth is I just could not find an off the rack suit that came even close to fitting me. I'm a Trans guy and although to the average person on the street I look much like any other guy, the truth is however that under my clothes I hide some pretty serious curves that I really don't like. When I started thinking about a suit for my wedding I knew it would have to be a bespoke suit if I was going to feel good in it. After a recommendation from an old friend who is a custom clothier on the west coast I arrived at Bindle and Keep and it has been a truly powerful experience. The fabric choices were stunning--they have so many beautiful fabrics to choose from. I gave them pictures of suits I like and they helped guide me towards a charcoal gray herringbone that I am in love with. Rae and Daniel paid a lot of attention to little details I wanted included for my suit and really tuned in to my "problem" areas which they assured me aren't problems because my suit is made to fit me not some non-existent person that off the rack suits are designed to fit. I have never had clothes that fit me well, particularly pants. The first fitting was not perfect...I do admit. The top half (jacket and vest) were spot on but the pants missed the mark. However, they totally acknowledged their flaws as humans and had the pants remade for me and they are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Truly these are the best pants I have ever owned. All of this happened in a matter of two months. The measurement, the fitting, and the remake were all completed in a very tight time frame for this kind of custom work and now I have an incredible suit that I feel better than I've ever felt in. Turnaround time was a little over 3 weeks weeks this time and this time there was no need for a trip to the tailor. I had been wanting a well fitted suit for a long time, and had not gotten one before this point because I would rather not purchase a suit at all if it is going to be ill fitted. Yes, I could have a suit altered, but that still doesn't quite do it for me with off-the-rack suits. Being a woman with a slim, athletic frame and long arms, women's nor men's suits never quite fit correctly. I came across a NY Times article featuring Bindle and Keep that talked about how they were addressing this very problem and immediately made an appointment. Since I don't live in the NY Metro Area, they weren't able to come to my residence, which is fine because who wants to come to South Jersey anyway?! I arrived at Daniel's apartment for the fitting and we got to work right away. The fitting consultation wasn't just a fitting, but Daniel observed and asked about my style, my favorite jacket, my favorite pair of pants and took my measurements with those things in mind. We went through each option that I had when designing my own suits, and he provided suggestions when I asked and explained some sartorial details that allowed me to make more educated (and stylish) decisions about my suits based on the settings in which I would be wearing them. Then we made decisions about my shirts. One of the things that he explained to me that I would not have known otherwise was how to get your shirt collar to sit up perfectly with the top button open (cut the collar smaller than your neck!) and that made all the difference, because I don't wear ties very often, if at all. He made that suggestion because he observed that the shirt I had on's collar kept falling over. These are the kinds of details that I really appreciated because those little things made my suits and shirts fit great, not just good. My consultation actually felt more like hanging out with a friend who really knows fashion, rather than a fitting for a suit. In total, I ordered two suits and two shirts and everything fits perfectly. They don't fit like women's or men's suits... they fit like *my* suits. I couldn't be happier with my garments and I wear them every chance I get, because they look and feel great, and the details are impeccable. I met the Bindle and Keep guys while I was in the midst of a painful process with another custom suit-maker. Suffice it to say that I was frustrated with the whole custom suit process. Daniel at Bindle and Keep made the process much more smooth that I had experienced at two other custom suit-makers. Despite the fact that I gave him short notice, he came to my office for the first fitting, discreetly bringing his custom-suit kit, so that his arrival wouldn't arouse suspicion among my coworkers. What came across in the first fitting was that Daniel was a student of men's clothing. I remember one thing that he told me in particular, "If this suit doesn't work, we'll be more upset about it than you will." And, I think he's right, although I don't know for sure because, as you'll see later in the story, the suit fit right the first time. Since my body type is very difficult to fit, I was in need of a suit fast and Daniel accommodated my hurried time-line as best as he could, which I very much appreciated. While the suit was en route, Daniel let me know that there might be a delay and called me very soon after it arrived. We arranged a time for him to drop by my house with the suit. I was expecting that the suit wouldn't fit straight away because the last two custom suits that I got had taken several fittings and one of them had to be scrapped in the end. I was shocked when I put on the coat and it felt like it really fit. I was still skeptical though and expected to look in the mirror to see that tailoring would be needed, but it wasn't the case. What a pleasant surprise! It's hard to overstate how impressed I was that the suit fit right away. What a time-saver! I like to wear androgynous clothing, I'm full-figured and my top and bottom are different sizes. Given those requirements, buying good-fitting suits off-the-rack is really not an option for me. Yet I need (and generally dreaded) to wear suits for business and formal functions before B&K. I did a lot of research before choosing Bindle & Keep - I even recommended them to a friend who recently got married before I tried them myself. She looked great in her suit at the wedding. So, I figured I'd take the plunge and try them myself. I've never had a custom suit made before. Nonetheless, given the experience of my friend my expectations of B&K were high. And I have to say B&K exceeded my expectations. Since I live outside of NYC - and a house call was not an option - my wife and I came down to meet Daniel at his home office in Brooklyn. In that meeting, he took all of the necessary measurements and went through all of the customization options that constitute a custom suit such as working button holes on the cuffs, custom linings, custom piping around the lining, accent button holes and so on. I ordered two suits and put roughly a 50% down. Throughout the process Daniel and staff have been friendly, knowledgeable and, above all, professional. Frankly I don't recognize the description of Daniel mentioned in some other reviews. Six weeks later, my suits were ready. The suits had every detail that we had agreed. Most importantly, the suits fit perfectly. No changes were required. Looking in the mirror I can say that no suit has ever fit me as well as the ones I just got from B&K. Bindle & Keep made the suit for my son's Bar Mitzvah. The suit was high quality as any bespoke suit should and he looked amazing. The real difference here are the people. I CANNOT speak highly enough of Daniel and Rae. They were extraordinary in working with my son. He was nervous at the final fitting but I'm sure Daniel was more anxious that he would like it. That they care about the quality of their work is obvious but moreover they care about the comfort and complete satisfaction of the person wearing it. It's the humanity that sets them apart. I wear suits every day and have gone through drove of different suits from every retailer I can think of. Thinking I was rather knowledgeable of suiting to my surprise I was blown away by the level of service and quality coming from Bindle&Keep. Service - scheduling appointments with Derrick is as easy as shooting him an email and getting same day response every time. Having someone come to your apartment within 48 hours and show you droves of fabrics, linings, and perform a fitting is at the highest level of customer service. Fitting - Mariusz came by my apartment at 8pm upon my request on a Thursday evening. He is so knowledgable and gives lots of recommendations which is definitely needed when you are staring at 100's of fabric swatches. I told him what I was looking for and he quickly was able to narrow down the swatch list to something manageable and offered suggestions to get me to an amazing color! It FAR exceeded my expectations when I finally saw my suit - it was a much lighter blue / grey then what I thought and as a result I quickly turned around and bought 3 more suits from them the next week. The suits fit like a glove (mine on the first try for the jacket and only a little letting out in the thighs for my pants which was turned around in 4 days!) I am delighted to know now that my endless pursuit for high quality custom suits and shirts is over. Bindle&Keep is my permanent home for my suiting and I don't even have to leave my apartment ever again. read more

I am very pleased with my experience with Bindle and Keep. Here are the reasons why: Responsiveness- They responded within a few hours to my emails to set up appointments. Quality/fit- My suit fits perfectly. It looks well constructed, lots of lovely detail. Ease/comfort- I found the whole process rather easy and comfortable. I worked with Daniel and he took his time getting my measurements and helping me decide on the fabrics. Timeliness- I was told that the suit would be ready in about 4 weeks and it was. I then had my first fitting. I lost some weight so the pants needed to be taken in. I was told that it would take about 2 weeks and it did. I highly recommend Bindle and Keep and look forward to working with them again. read more

I found Bindle and Keep via a Gilt City promotion. Daniel responded to questions promptly via email before I made the purchase. The fitter came over roughly on time - he was about 30 minutes late - and we looked through fabric swatches. In the end, I decided on a more expensive fabric which pushed the cost of my suit to about double the Gilt Promotion Price. This is no fault of the company; I just have an eye for quality. After about 4 - 5 weeks I emailed Daniel. The suit was ready roughly on time. I set up an appointment for an initial fitting and the same fellow showed up - again about 30 mins late. The jacket fit like a glove and had a sophisticated contemporary cut - and by that I don't mean that Thom Browne crap, I mean a cut in the modern Italian model that looked great. The pants were a little tight and I asked that they be let out. This took about a week. Around the point when I was getting anxious, I emailed Daniel and the pants showed up the same day, via priority mail, properly let out. I might have asked for a little more elegant final presentation of the pants - perhaps in a box? - but I am extremely happy with the fit and construction. I am not a novice with regard to custom tailoring. I have maybe 20 custom made suits in my closet, some from top tailors in England and New York that cost me 4-5K. While I did not analyze the details of internal jacket construction - like interfacing and the like - the whole product is on par with some of my best suits. I love the fabric, fit, and wonderful detailing. The price is fair and reasonable for this quality of work. My suggestions to Daniel and company are simple. 1. Be more rigorous in meeting fixed schedules regarding visits. While 30 minutes late is not always a problem, it did throw of my afternoon meeting schedule and the fitting was consequently unduly rushed. 2. Bindle and Keep rely heavily on Holland and Sherry for their ultra-premium fabric lines. This is a great fabric manufacturer; however, I think they would benefit from looking into some Italian and Belgian suppliers (Zegna and Scabal for example) who offer a more fashion forward fabric line. read more

Absolutely in love with my new suit from Bindle & Keep. Daniel is extremely pleasant, professional and knowledgeable, gave some great ideas while being respectful and encouraging of my own preferences. He took my measures so precisely that a second fitting was not even necessary, which I had never seen before, and he was very invested in making sure that I was happy with the result. Like the late Tyrannosaurus Rex, I have very short arms. I struggle with simple everyday tasks, such as reaching top shelves, touching my toes, and fitting into clothing. Additionally, I have a fairly large chest (my girlfriend is rather jealous). In combination, these features have made it very difficult for me to fit into suits. Any suit I buy off the rack has sleeves which extend past my fingers, buckles awkwardly at my chest, or both. The custom suit I purchased from Bindle and Keep has neither of these problems. A truly great experience!! I have been to several tailors prior to trying out Bindle & Keep, and none of them compare to the quality, craftsmanship, and value that Bindle offers. I started with a traditional black suit and white shirts for a wedding, and I was completely satisfied with how PERFECTLY everything fit. I soon decided to go for a blue suit and a few more shirts for work, and although my measurements were on file, Mariusz, and Petyr were sure to re-fit me, and sure enough had to make a few adjustments. The result... Again, was a perfectly fitting suit (and shirts). I really appreciated Bindle and Keep's high level of interest in my blazer. I had a very particular order and Daniel knew just what i was getting at. He had a lot of suggestions as to how to make it all work. It really helped to have somebody who actually loved clothes and had a good eye. I got an Astor & Black suit last year and it was like I was teaching them how to make a slim suit. Quality/fit was awesome and I'd say i'd reasonably have to pay triple to get something similar at a nice retailer. I recently started working at a firm whose dress code is business formal, as opposed to my previous employers who kept a business casual dress code. So I suddenly needed another suit to fill out my wardrobe. This was my third experience with bespoke tailoring. After an initial consultation with Daniel, who helped walk me through some of the options and trends in style, I made an appointment with B&K's tailor. He showed up to my apartment on time, with the sample swatches I had considered with Daniel. He helped me to finalize my choices and suggested custom features I hadn't previously considered. I learned a lot from the experience: for instance, I had never understood when the number of vents would make a difference in a suit, but the tailor explained that for people who have a tendency to put both hands in their pockets, a double vented suit would maintain its symmetry better than a suit with a single vent or no vent at all. After a few weeks (ahead of schedule), the suit arrived at my apartment. I tried it on, and it fit like a glove. Today was my first day wearing it and I got a compliment from the firm's receptionist as I walked in. read more

Who knew that looking like a million bucks could be so affordable? I've never written a Yelp review, but I had to for Bindle & Keep. I'm getting married in a few months and was in the market for a tux. Rather than rent something that doesn't fit or overpay for something mass produced, I thought that getting something bespoke would be the proper way to commemorate the occasion, and I was fortunate enough to find Bindle & Keep. The service level is excellent. Daniel responds to emails immediately and was extremely accommodating with respect to scheduling. I didn't have to leave the house as they came to me for my fitting and delivery. The workmanship is just as good as the service. Mariusz cut a perfect suit for me, had a wide variety of patterns and fabrics for me to choose from, and taught me a lot about fine men's fashion in the process. I now have a unique, beautiful tux with all sorts of personal touches and details that I can wear proudly for the rest of my life. Highly recommended! read more

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a suit from Bindle and Keep. From start to finish, everything was perfect!!!! Having recently gone through a body transformation, I wanted to get something nice since none of my prior suits fit anymore. After more than a couple of months of searching for a bespoke suit, I felt confident that I had made the right choice and the whole experience reaffirmed my selection. I was a little late for my initial consultation with Mariusz but he was more than accommodating and just grabbed a cup of coffee while waiting for about 15mins for me. Mariusz was fantastic. His had an extensive knowledge about suits and the fitting itself. He consistently made suggestions to enhance the suit appearance for my height. He was a great resource and took his time to explain the differences in fabrics, styles of suits, colors and how a MTM suit would be different than off the rack suits that I had purchased before. Since I was already getting the suit, I wanted to purchase a suit and Mariusz was great in helping pick out a shirt that complimented the suit. My suit was ready in about 3 weeks and Daniel, one of the co-founders, dropped it off at my apartment on a Saturday evening. When I put the suit on, I couldn't believe how good it looked and felt. There were no imperfections and it fit like a glove. I am so glad that I listened to Mariusz since his suggestions turned out beautifully on the suit. I went out that evening and received several compliments on the suit (which I had never received any compliments on any prior suit that I have worn). My shirt arrived about a week later and it turned out perfect as well, and fit so much better than any shirt that I have ever purchased at a store. Once again, the whole process from beginning to end was great. The price was very reasonable and any alteration that needs to be done at a later time is complimentary as well. I am very disappointed with Bindle & Keep. The pants and skirt they made for me fit so poorly (despite several alteration attempts) that they are unwearable and just hang in my closet uselessly. The jacket fits pretty well (not perfect), but after wearing it just a few times, I noticed that the lining inside one of the sleeves has come apart, which is disappointing. Big picture, I paid over a thousand dollars for a suit jacket, pants, and skirt, and ended up with just one okay jacket that seems poorly made. I really regret using this company and wish I had just gotten an off the rack suit altered, or gone with someone else. read more

Bindle & Keep is awesome. B&K gets 5 stars for two reasons: First, the suit is super high-quality. Daniel, one of the co-owners, did a great job with the measurements for my suit. He helped guide me through their fabrics to pick out the one that was perfect for my needs and it came out better than expected. The subtle details on the suit are awesome too. The suit is fully customizable and the prints/fabrics that they have are great. This is the first suit I've owned that has "fit" me. Second, and more importantly, their service is unbelievable. From the time I booked my fitting until after they delivered me the suit they have not only been responsive, but have gone out of their way to be accommodating for me. If the suit isn't perfect and the way you want it to be they will pay for you to to have it tailored with a very high-end, professional tailor. This aspect of the service makes it impossible to not get the perfect suit. Having that confidence in the future product seals the deal. I have had an extremely positive experience with Bindle & Keep - responsive, high touch client service - they really want to make you happy, wide selection of fabrics, and very reasonable prices for bespoke suits and shirts. Reached out to B&K when I was doing my research. Got a call back that same afternoon from one of the owners, Daniel. Scheduling was easy - they come to you and they really try to work around your schedule so weekends, late evenings are not a problem. Instead of telling you when they are available, they always ask for your availability. Scheduled a meeting on a weekend afternoon. Daniel was on time and I found that in subsequent meetings if he is running late, I would always get an email or call to let me know. The best thing about Daniel is that he really takes the time to educate you on all of your options and the pros and cons of different fabrics. You never feel like he is trying to upsell you - in fact, if you ask for his opinion, he will tell you where he thinks there is best value amongst the fabrics and it isn't, as I would normally expect, the most expensive fabric. Daniel is extremely patient and was happy to go through all of the fabrics with me - not knowing whether I was going to purchase anything. It's a very relationship oriented approach to building client relationships. I ended buying three suits and six shirts at that first meeting. I had a relatively tight time constraint. I let Daniel know my constraints and he gave me a realistic time table. He actively kept me up to date on progress, even emailed me pictures of the suits before they were shipped. Once the suits arrived, we made another fitting appointment. While the overall fit was fine, there were adjustments that had to be made. Daniel actually picked me up and drove me to the tailor that does their alterations. Alterations were done in about 10 days and were done really well. I've been wearing these suits for about 3 months and am very happy with them. I've even gotten compliments on how well the suits fit me and co workers have asked me where I get my suits made. There's more to the story - I found out the week before Labor Day that I had a black tie event to go to in late Sept. I don't own a tux and was dreading the idea of having to rent a tux that wouldn't fit well. I got in touch with Daniel and he assured me that they could make me a tux in time using my previous measurements, in a classic tux style. Gave me a very reasonable price. 2 weeks later, my tux was ready and Daniel dropped it off last night. I tried it on this morning and again it fits very well, only minor adjustments needed. Really impressed. They were polite and helpful from the start. A step up in price and quality from the usual online MTM places but you get what you pay for - particularly considering they have a second fitting with a tailor to ensure the fit works. P.S. Top tip: Mariusz was a really excellent tailor. My experience with Bindle and Keep was a great one. After a lot of unsuccessful searching for a navy blue tuxedo for my wedding, I decided to contact Bindle and Keep. Daniel was very responsive scheduling my appointments with Maruisz. During the fitting, Maruisz was extremely knowledgable, he truly knows his craft.
