REALLY wanted this to work. this shop is (very) close to home for me and we have 2 Mbz (GL450, R500) and a Mini Cooper S that are professionally serviced, but we would prefer to take our business from Fletcher Jones and Penske Auto Group and give it to local shop, going back to the days of a more personal relationship, even if the same money. made appt pulled into empty parking lot as i was first AM appt, pulled into the service drive. rocky came out to greet me and told me to move my car. to which i replied, "sure, put it wherever you like, to which he replied, and i am paraphrasing, "the sign says no parking. if i get no respect, i give no respect. move it or leave. wow. even in good economic times this would be a difficult customer interaction to accept, let alone a first encounter. empty parking lot, empty service bays, ... as such, seems like i am not the only person that has decided not to patronize this business.

Their site has an option to text so I did just that. I asked a simple question and got the worst response back from them. Me: I need to have my 2010 mini. Footwell Module programmed. Best to bring in the car or just the Module? Them: So, basically, you want to bring us steak so we can cook it for you?,,,,,lol,,,, sorry our insurance policy will not accept customer supplied parts for liability reasons, but, thank you for your contact,,,,,,,,, Me: Well, I don't know how you do your business. So responding like that was a little rude dont you think. How about telling me you only install new units? Because if thatbis the process. Then tell me the price for that service you provide? Them: There was nothing rude about our initial reply, we were comparing so you could understand better. No intent of being unkind. We also do not give estimates without seeing the vehicle. again, thank you for your contact(we are being nice) Me: Sorry you think that and this last response was okay. I'll make sure I pass this conversation along. Maybe rethink how you "joke" with potential customers who have valid questions. Them: Sorry that you took it that way, there was no intent to make you feel the way you are. You are free to do whatever you wish, have a great day,,,,,,,, So I am doing just that. All they had to tell me was to bring the car in because they only replace the units in question.

I went to have my windshield wiper fluid cleared out because it wasn't working properly. Instead, I left with a broken left headlight frame to which Rocky became defensive when I got upset. I watched him grab the rim of my hood to close it when I saw the rim come off completely. He told me these things Crack all the time, threw the headlight frame in my front seat and told me he didn't like me accusing him of breaking my headlight, and to leave! I was speechless! I l left worse than when I arrived. I am so sad. Now I have to order a new MINI headlight frame. Back to the dealer I go. Rocky needs to control his temper and learn how to treat customers better. I gave one star because his mechanic was very kind and knowledgeable.

I was not notified of this extremely high price for just a simple oil change before the work was down which is illegal. SCAM SHOP!!

I had to get my car jumped just to get there and jumped on the way out. For sake of time thought it would be easier to go through valvoline instead of doing it myself on my lunch break to get to my dog in time... I'm going to attach some photos and video of what I experienced. At one point they had Isaac and 3 other employees literally trying to jam the new battery into my car. I told them you have to turn it sideways and once it is in turn it into place. I told them I could do it real quickly and Isaac told me he got this and no need to worry it's a tough job to do and you know it. Sooo tough it takes 4 people to change a car battery? Isaac leaves and tell them to put my old battery with where they are trying to jam that back in. I had to tell them they are scaring me in how they are trying to do this and please turn the battery sideways. So they finally do what I asked and battery goes right in hahah. Pull my car out and at this point I'm just jaw dropped. Isaac doesn't come back out. I literally pull the ground off with my hand because they couldn't even tighten down the posts for my battery. Not only that they stripped the nut for the ground on my battery post. Worst service I've ever experienced and I truly hope nobody faces this. Please think twice before going in here for anything. I'm going to reach out to headquarters or the franchise owner about this but needed to feel better about warning anyone else so they don't have this happen to them!!!

Because of that, I came back for multiple oil changes. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was completely different. I was charged a high price for what should have been a simple oil change and cabin/air filter replacement, and I ended up waiting about two hours for the work to be completed. After talking it through with someone more familiar with car maintenance, it became clear that I was likely overcharged for a job that should have been quicker and more reasonably priced. What made the experience worse was the interaction before my appointment. When I asked for clarification about being told I may need "air," EU laughed at me for asking. I'm neurodivergent and sometimes take things more literally, so I was just trying to confirm whether I was being charged for something that is often free. Instead of explaining, I felt mocked for asking a simple question. Because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable or confident returning here. I'm sharing this as a caution for other customers--especially women and neurodivergent people--who may not be as familiar with car maintenance and rely on mechanics to be honest, respectful, and transparent.

I was going somewhere else prior and they would keep my car the entire day for a basic oil change. The first time I came after having my car serviced elsewhere and heard an odd sound when I got it back. I asked ExperTec if they could get my car back to me by the end of the day and they weren't sure, however I did get my car back within a few hours. I think they're priced fairly compared to other places in the area. I like that they're open on weekends too. I'm not a mechanic by any means but I'm also super wary of being taken advantage of which happens almost every where I go. I will say they did tell me my car passed their inspection then tried to recommend a bunch of services I'd had done recently. They didn't push me to get them or try to scare me into thinking my car was going to explode if I didn't do the recommended services lol. I've recommended this place to a couple people and they've been happy too so I think they're pretty good overall.
