Love. This. Place. Best price for protein breads (bagels, sandwich breads, etc). Spent just over $20 and got a 16 loaves of different breads. That included the extra free loaves you get if you spend above the threshold levels. It's worth the drive because you're getting a really good savings, but the staff are very nice and the store is simply kept immaculately clean. Don't let the security barred windows deter you from visiting. The area around isn't the best, but the store is a quick and easy in and out. The place can get busy, and the parking area is someone small. I would recommend going there early. They don't have plastic bags but have boxes if you buy multiple items - I high advise to bring your own food bags for convenience. read more

I am so glad the Bimbo bread outlet is still opened. I know why, but for some reason I thought they closed down years ago with the many others that were throughout the Sacramento area. This place is great to get you breads, pastries etc at way better prices than the grocery stores. Manager special are usually priced at a deeper discount due to reaching the Best Buy date within a week, but you can always stash it in the freezer for later. The inside as soon as you walk in there bread baked good galore and the customer service is good. They have a wide selection of breads and pastries as well as honey, jams, jellies and preserves, it's endless really. The outlet inside is nothing special looks just like any typical bread outlet, yet is very clean inside. If you've never been you've got to check them out! You won't regret it. read more

This place is amazing! They have great prices and the worker was so sweet. Some of the baked goods are close to the best by dates but not all items were. They had a deal where if you spent $7 you can get an item for free off the designated shelf and I believe two items if 1 $15 was spent. The worker said that the only way they can stay and sell is if they have more customers so definitely check it out! We got all the items pictured for $16. read more

Cute little bakery outlet with great prices on bakery items. Getting in and out of their little solo plaza can be a pain depending on the time you're there. Friendly staff (: I came for a Too Good To Go order which was a variety bag of bakery items. The items are mixed of nearing their expiration by a day or 2, or within the next week. Glad I got to try some times I never have before, along with a couple familiar household staples. read more

This store has changed their name a number of times, from Sara Lee, Rainbow, Bimbo, or The Bakery Outlet. I just like to call them: The bread store! I pass by this place all the time, but I haven't been back for several years. I finally made time to stop in, to see if they still have the deals as I fondly remembered. I have no problem admitting that I love and frequently buy breads, donuts, Danish pastries, English Muffins and anything else they might have on sale! You can't beat the prices anywhere! So what if some things are a day old or close to expiration dates. I have not had any problems with any of my purchases! They still taste fresh and if you are like me, buy in bulk and store them in the refrigerator or freezer! They feature many popular brand names like Rainbo, Oroweat, Entemann's, Bimbo, Thomas, Marinela, San Luis Sourdough, Ball Park, and the list goes on! Thursdays are Senior discount days too! I noticed I automatically got a senior discount on my receipt when I got home. Not sure how I feel about that! LOL! As usual, I bought more than I should have, but I have plenty of room in my freezer now. They were also having a special going on. When you make a total purchase of $15.00 or more, you can get two extra loaves of Bimbo Soft Wheat Bread for free! Even though this business is kind of small inside, including their parking lot, this outlet is always filled with some delicious and sometimes nutritious surprises! I'm making a point of shopping here routinely from this day forward... read more

2026 check in at this bakery outlet store in south Sacramento. Random trip for discount baked goods. 3pm visit and still found plenty of items that interest me. English muffins, whole grain and double fiber breads, sugary sweet items and odd one-offs. I chose an herbed stuffing pack for $2, Oroweat dill rye bread, $2.50, and a Gansito, $1.25, which is a filled cupcake. Helpful professional pleasant staff. Decent size parking lot. It's on a busy corner, so keep your eyes peeled entering and leaving. read more

Hidden gem for big families. Many different items at a great price. Down side is items sometimes are not in stock due to things often being swapped in and out based on supply. Location is kind of out of the way and not centrally located in the city. Friendly staff willing to help when they aren't swamped. Store space is small, but worth the trip. read more

Great selection at excellent prices! I got there before noon and got all of my shopping done before it got busy. Definitely worth the drive from my house for the savings I got. Even ended up with two free loaves since I spent almost thirty dollars for at least a month's worth of bread and treats. The place is clean the staff were very friendly. The only negative is how cramped the parking lot got as more people showed up. read more

I don't know if many people know about this place but if you don't you have to check it out. So many good treats here like my favorite brownie chocolate chips and chocolate donuts. They also have the pies with the fruit filling, fruit preserves, soups, all kinds of stuff. Another thing that I really love about this place is that I can get four loaves of bread for $8. Where else can you get that? And different types of breads like white, whole wheat, multi grain, etc. I think more people need to know about this place. It's off of Gerber and it's kind of small but it's really a great place and the staff is always super nice. This is definitely one of my go to spots. read more

Fresh bread and baked goods of all kinds. Super discounted all the time. Load up on all your favorites. TEN STARS!!!!

Don't just drive past this bakery outlet at Gerber Road x Wilbur Way! Maybe 10 dedicated parking spots in front, not a huge store but lots in stock. The lady (Sherie?) when I pop in on Saturdays is always so sweet -- recommending newly arrived items or flavors (like the cinnamon protein English muffins or the maple and brown sugar Artesano loaf). Usually come in for Sara Lee deluxe bagels, Thomas' English Muffins, Oroweat breads (organic, Oatnut, Double Fiber, 12 Grain) or Alfaro Artesano Golden Wheat or brioche buns. The bagels are usually several flavors to choose from, even the mini-bagels. All the bread, even organic and Keto are available for cheap. The bagels come out to 2 for $3.50. They also have some jars of jams and spreads, Ballpark burger and hotdog buns, rolls, and also packaged items like the individual fruit pies, Mexican Marinela brand sweets (pineapple Barritas, Gansitos), mini muffins (Little Bites), Entenmann's cakes/pastries (pound cakes, donuts), Boboli pizza dough, Nature's Harvest, and of course, Bimbo brand items. Cinnamon Raisin swirl bread too! You can get a stamp card, and when you fill it can get a discount. Cash is easy, sometimes their card reader is finicky. They do accept EBT. Reminds me of the Wonder/Hostess outlet grandpa would take me to in San Leandro when I was little! read more

This is my GO TO place when I need bread. They have various sandwich breads, sourdough, and pastries. I have actually been coming here for years. Bimbo produces breads under various labels. They also have those pizza breads called bouboli's in which we use often This is a bakery outlet. This is day old bread (where nothing is wrong with them). Pricing will vary depending on what goes on sale. We just got hooked on the KETO seeded bread which is 2 for $5. Normally, selling around $4 at local grocery stores. I typically buy enough bread for almost a month and freeze it. Besides the bouboli's and Keto bread, I have purchased lots of sourdough, and various sliced bread brands they support Bread from here has always been wonderful and well priced. At times, they will have sales. This is not a very big store. But packed in with lots of stuff. As I pointed out, I buy enough bread for a few weeks. So, I walked out with 8 loaves of KETO seeded bread. Most in my freezer. Oh, also, the keto bread is pretty good. You can't even tell the difference. And most of all, lowered carbs Great place and highly recommend others to come. read more

pricing was excellent and the service we received was way more than we had expected! Just Excellent!

Definitely worth the trip. If you have freezer space go by grab some deals. Most breads /muffins/ bagels are $2 or less. During this difficult time of inflation it really helps when you can get staples for cheap. Lots of specialty breads keto , low cal , whole grains, and varietys id never heard of too. Only negative i couldnt find hours and its cash only which i fidnt know until i arrived so it limited my purchasing power. read more

My second visit to the Bimbo outlet store. Just a quick drive from east elk grove and worth it. Service, selection and savings are excellent! Bimbo Bakery Outlet - Come get your bread, etc - Bakeries Near Me - Sacramento, California

What a find! NOT a day-old bread store. Many of the same staples and products you get at the grocery store but at a way better price. Loaves of bread are usually about $1.69 or 3/$5 and also carry bagels, Thomas' English muffins, cookies, Oroweat, Bob's Red Mill, Svenhard's, Boboli, and much more. You can get a punch card for donuts or bread, and get a discount with a full card. Free items also given with purchases of $8 or $15. But the stock isn't the only reason to go. In the 10 or so times I have been in, the employee at the counter has never failed to greet me, is always polite and friendly and points out special bargains. I have never had much luck with freezing bread, but she gave me a tip to thaw frozen bread upside down and it worked! Wish I could get service like this everywhere. read more
