I paid my "deductible" after the procedure. Three weeks later I get a bill for more than $250.00 and on the same date get notice from my insurance that some claims were denied. Why? It seems multiple billings for procedures that are normal part of another billed procedure. Called dentist office for explanation: "Nothing wrong here, it is your insurance and you agreed to pay us if they didn't." BEWARE! I relied on them verify insurance before doing the work.

Not knowing else, I had them all treated here. 4 of the fillings fell out just by flossing teeth normally. I ended up going to a new dentist. Essentially all of the fillings were not prepared correctly, some had cavities under them already after only months. The crown needs redone already. Cost a fortune to fix and now im left with sensitive teeth and messed up tooth gaps. If you ever just want dentures and to have your teeth ripped out go here, otherwise I'd recommend elsewhere.

I gave it a 4 star rating for a recent horrible experience I had with one of the dental assistant,,,she was rough with me, hurt my mouth, pinched my lip, gagged me with water when I had a casting in my mouth for a crown. She left the casting in my mouth a little too long, where she was forcefully prying my stuck mouth open. Once she had the temporary crown made,,,she tried to put it in my mouth & the crown kept falling out. She had to start all over again. Second time with the casting in my mouth, she was manipulating my jaw to get my bite correct for the mold,,,,she was NOT gentle at all,,,she hurt me again....after the second time, I got up out of the chair & told her, she doesn't have to be so rough & told her I had enough & walked out of the dental room to the receptionist area. I was so shaken up about the situation I just wanted to go home. Dr. Ling came out & helped to calm me down. Dr. Ling complete the work in my mouth so I could finally leave. I have to return on Nov 13, 2023, I have to get my permanent crown complete........ I am feeling uneasy about it. I have to make a hard decision if I want to continue to go here due to one bad apple.

The doctor comes in, looks at my teeth for maybe 30 seconds and informs me I have 8 cavities and walks out. Never showed me anything on the screen or explained. Today, 6 months later and without receiving any more dental work done at AMA, I went back to my previous dentist. They told me my teeth are completely fine and there are no cavities. AMA tried charging me over $2000 in work that I did not need. They also tried doing it to both of my parents. AMA dental is a scam and they just want your money. If I could rate it a 0, I would!

A retired military dentists reviewed my X-Rays and he stated there were no cavities apparent. Three months later, while visiting Ohio, I had an appointment with Dr. Alsouss. He took 6-bite-wing X-Rays. I was observing Dr. Alsouss as he reviewed the X-Rays. He suddenly said, "You have a cavity." He quickly came and visually observed the tooth. Something about his gestures made me not trust his diagnosis. Dr. Alsouss, in less than a minute, sliced off vertically without a lot of precision the number 5-molar. (A previous dentist would always take several minutes for this procedure.) I returned to the Concorde University Dental Hygiene school. A dentist with 30-years of experience working in the navy reviewed the Xrays that Dr. Alsouss had taken and the X-Rays taken 3-months before the appointment. She stated there was no evidence that the tooth had a cavity or needed a filling. I believe that the tooth was not in need of any restorative dentistry. I believe that Dr. Alsouss billed me and my insurance company for work that was not medically needed.

Dr. Alsous's girls decided I had an infection, no visible signs of that of course, told me to shoot water from my water pik up under the gum line. WORST ADVICE EVER, I did NOT do that. Then scheduled a deep scaling and to shoot antibiotic into the gum. Four weeks later told me to pull the tooth!! (this office sells implants). There is NOTHING wrong with my tooth, my gum needs work. BTW, this arrogant self impressed dentist is not a periodontist and apparently too busy to speak directly to his patient. STEER CLEER of this office. Plenty of comment dentists on every corner.
