Worked on job for over 9 months!! Should have taken a month to finish max!! Constant lies from Tom Hathcox throughout the job! I told him I will have to sue him for this mess and he told me, go ahead, I'm broke. I am now taking legal action against him and his company. Stay away from this company!!!!

He has stiffed numerous subs from what I hear. We canceled our contract prior to any work ever starting or any permits being granted, yet Tom refuses to give the money back. I fully intent to exhaust all efforts to see that justice is served. He has ripped off so many people that he thinks he's entitled to the money. Most crooked contractor that I have ever come across. They change their company name on other websites to hide the bad reviews. He does business in Slidell in Lakeshore Estates, etc. so please share with anyone you know in the area. Designer (Amy Wright.) 5 stars Sample selection coordinator…read more5 stars Construction superintendent 2 stars Construction scheduling 2 stars Pool School & Service tech (Brian Heathcoe). 5 stars Dig day to completion 10 weeks I'll start my review out by saying that I am happy with my pool and I did recommend Blue Haven on the Gulf to someone recently, and I will continue to recommend them, but with stipulations. To make a long story short the process from dig day forward was very frustrating. I am a home builder, so I am familiar with construction processes, contractors, and scheduling. In the very beginning, I requested to be given a seasoned superintendent for my project. What I got was a messenger. 99% of my questions could not be answered, and unfortunately a few build details were overlooked or installed improperly and had to be corrected. This was not because I did't express my concern but more because it just went in one ear and out the other. I ended up working with John the manager after a certain point in time. Fortunately, he saw to it to make things right. My 1st pool school was rushed and lacked the "Congratulations on your new pool, I'm here to teach you how to maintain it" attitude. This was my first pool, I was a deer in headlights. Eventually, they sent a second pool school technician to me by the name of Brian Heathcoe. What a wonderful human being Brian is!. He showed me every process on maintaining the pool and was patient enough to answer my 100 questions. I've had my pool for 10 months now and there has been a time or two when I was unsure of something and reached out to Brian on his cell phone. He answered immediately and took care of me. He has since been promoted, and I can understand why. Blue Haven needs to hire more people like Brian! My bottom line suggestion is if you go with Blue Haven on the Gulf make sure you communicate and hold them accountable to what they say they're going to do. One last thing, if you want an amazing and patient designer then ask for Amy Wright!

Initially, I gave Lee swimming pools a very poor rating. After being contacted by Joel (the owner) after my review. Joel came out and made everything right. Being in business myself, I understand that sometimes associates or employees don't always make the right call. It happens. This was the case in my situation. Joel personally came out and rectified my problem. He also offered to give me my money back, which I did not accept. My only goal was to get the work completed that I had paid for. Joel seems like a standup guy, and cares very much about the quality provided by his business. Very sorry that I had not amended this sooner.

They will answer all your questions for above or in ground pools, salt, chlorine, or copper based pool water. They also carry in stock a huge inventory of floats, spa tubs, and clothing. Pretty much anything to do with pools they carry it. They also carry repair parts for automatic pool cleaners as well.
